Innovation was the talk of the town for new makeup launches in March. While some truly impressed with their first-to-market game changers, others turned out to be real letdowns.

From lipstick to foundation and everything in between, here are March’s best and worst makeup products!

The Best Skincare Products Reviewed: Four-Star Faves

So-called “revolutionary” products come and go in the cosmetics world, but this month we actually found a few that live up to that claim. From Cover FX’s Custom Cover Drops, to a lip gloss with outstanding SPF 40, we’re in love with these newbies!

  • Cover FX Custom Cover Drops ($44) – These concentrated pigment "boosters" allow you to add coverage and customizable tint to any concealer, foundation or moisturizer. A tiny drop of pure genius!
  • NARS All Day Weightless Powder Foundation SPF 24 ($48) – This powder won us over with its satin matte finish and light-to-medium buildable coverage for a smooth and polished look. No cakey skin here. Bonus: It offers broad-spectrum SPF 24! (Best for oily to combination skin.)
  • Hourglass Cosmetics Illusion Hyaluronic Skin Tint Broad Spectrum SPF 15 ($55) – If you have normal to dry skin and are on the prowl for a good moisturizing foundation, this formula fits the bill beautifully with medium coverage. More to love, skin gets a boost antioxidants + broad-spectrum sun protection for double the anti-aging benefit.
  • Paula’s Choice Resist Anti-Aging Lip Gloss + Broad Spectrum SPF 40 ($18) – This velvety-smooth gloss goes beyond than norm with SPF 40 to ensures anti-aging sun protection (a rare find in a lip gloss). The result? Irresistibly soft, supple, never sticky lips with plush shine. XOXO

The Worst Skincare Products Reviewed: Two Stars (or Lower)

Unfortunately, not every product is a winner. These picks earned just one or two stars due to their disappointing performance or irritant loaded ingredient list.
