Review Overview
Beach Tint appears at first glance to be a liquid-to-powder blush in a tube, but instead this has a lotion-like texture that’s easy to blend, imparting translucent color and a slightly moist finish. Only two shades are available but this may be worth a try if you’re looking for an alternative to powder blush.

Becca At-A-Glance

Australian import Becca is a complete line of color cosmetics from makeup artist Rebecca Morrice Williams. As the story goes, Rebecca, like so many women, was having difficulty finding the perfect foundation. It seems her professional experience making up women of varying skin tones and preferences shared one truth: all women wanted perfect skin. This set Williams on her path to creating what would become the Becca line.

While there are a number of excellent foundations here, what seems to have catapulted the brand onto the map is their numerous highlighter products. From liquids to powders, there are an incredible range of options in their luminizer categories, and many are superb.

Surveying the rest of this line revealed that Williams just didn't do her homework for foundation shades. The eyeshadows are amazingly silky, and many of their products for lips and cheeks are exemplary. Lastly, almost all of the makeup brushes from Becca are aces, and the options plentiful, especially for eye designs.

Strengths: Excellent concealers, foundations, highlighters and eyeshadows; good lip gloss; several outstanding brushes.

Weaknesses: Beats us, this is a strong collection of products.

Becca is available at Sephora, Ulta and via their Web site.

natural, long-lasting blush

My cheeks are dry and though I have dozens of beautiful powder blushes I wanted to try something a bit more moist. I bought this in watermelon and use it over PC's Resist foundation (that I love). A tiny dab on apples blended out to temples looks so natural and lasts all day. I no longer have the dry powdery cheek look and I am pleased with this product.
