Hello Flawless! Custom Powder Cover-Up used to offer broad-spectrum SPF 15 (and in some stores you may still see this, until the original formula's inventory is sold through), but the revamped formula no longer boasts the benefit of sun protection. Even without it, this satin matte pressed powder has a lot to offer…as long as your skin isn't on the ultra-oily or very dry end of the spectrum.

Hello Flawless! can be applied in a sheer layer with a brush, or smoothed over skin with a sponge for medium coverage. Because the finely-milled, soft texture picks up generously on an applicator, start with less than you think you'll need to avoid overdoing it.

Although this powder has a lightly absorbent, soft matte feel, it's not exactly a slam-dunk for oily skin due to the fact that the mica-based formula leaves a subtle sheen. Don't get us wrong—it isn't shimmery, but even a subtle hint of shine can amplify an oil-prone complexion. If, on the other hand, you fall somewhere between normal to only slightly oily, or even slightly dry skin, Hello Flawless! is a beautiful, natural-looking powder to consider.

Other high notes include a fragrance-free formula and flattering shades for light to medium-tan skin tones. The mirrored box compact is handy for application on the go, and while the sponge and brush aren't of great quality, they can get you by in a pinch.

All in all, Hello Flawless! Custom Powder Cover-Up is an easy-to-blend powder that's a good choice for middle-of-the-road skin types and offers a customizable level of coverage!

Note: Despite the lack of SPF rating, this pressed powder foundation contains two sunscreen ingredients (ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate and benzophenone-3) that have the potential to be irritating if applied very close to the eyes—as one might do with this type of product. This isn't true for everyone, but pay attention to how your skin responds and if you notice stinging or eye area irritation, it may be from these ingredients.
