Other than omitting fragrance, this body lotion is identical to Lubriderm's Men's 3-in-1 Lotion Light Fragrance. The "3-in-1" portion of this body lotion's name refers to Lubriderm's recommendation that it can be used on the face and body and as an after-shave. Sounds great, but, in fact, any moisturizer can be used this way, so it's not a big deal.
Lubriderm isn't breaking any new ground with this mineral oil–based body lotion, but its formula, while not the most exciting, is better than the majority of their other body lotions.
Typically, men's products are inferior to those marketed to women, but in this case Lubriderm is giving men an advantage with a formula that bests their products aimed at female consumers.
This body lotion contains an appreciable amount of vitamin E along with some standard but helpful ingredients for normal to dry skin. The inclusion of minerals may strike a chord with those caught up in the mineral craze, but regardless of gender, minerals aren't of much benefit to skin when applied topically.
- Inexpensive and a better formula than those Lubriderm typically offers.
- Despite a higher amount of antioxidants (i.e., higher than other Lubriderm moisturizers) and the inclusion of skin-conditioning panthenol, this isn't among the top body lotions at the drugstore (for men or women).
- Included minerals do not benefit skin when applied topically.
- The 3-in-1 selling point applies to any moisturizer.
Although this moisturizer claims to meet your dry skin's needs in a single bottle, it doesn't come through. For example, this product doesn't contain sunscreen, so you're not getting critical sun protection, and it doesn't offer other skin-enhancing benefits such as exfoliation, which can noticeably improve dryness. Guys, it takes more than a single bottle of any product to obtain and maintain healthy, younger-looking skin.
Simplify your daily skincare routine with Lubriderm Men's 3-in-1 Lotion. This specialized fragrance free lotion, with minerals and essential moisturizers found in men's skin, can be used as a body, face, and post-shave lotion. This lightweight, fast-absorbing formula moisturizes and soothes skin, so now your dry skin's needs can be met with a single bottle.

Among body lotion brands, Lubriderm is recognizable at drugstores and grocery stores around the world. Unfortunately, most of their formulas are about as exciting as watching grass grow! Instead of providing dry, itchy skin with a range of state-of-the-art ingredients proven to offer lasting benefits, Lubriderm stops short at the basics, with formulas that echo back to the 1960s.
What Lubriderm leaves out are the ingredients that would supply your skin with a healthy dose of antioxidants, skin-repairing ingredients, or cell-communicating ingredients. All these types of ingredients can actually "repair" skin, not just put a Band-Aid® on the problem of dry skin.
Lubriderm products are not bad, but it's like using a typewriter instead of a computer. Simply put, science has advanced skin care far beyond what Lubriderm formulas provide.
Lubriderm's price point is attractive, but saving money isn't always the end game. Besides, there are other inexpensive brands whose impressive body moisturizer formulas mean you don’t have to settle for less. At the drugstore, check out the options from CeraVe, Olay, and St. Ives or online from Paula's Choice for stellar inexpensive examples. Actually, the previously mentioned are some of the best examples around because even the expensive body products often omit the advanced ingredients.
