M.A.C.'s Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer might not come with a slew of impressive claims, but what it does it does really well, which is why it earns our top rating.
This creamy, fragrance-free concealer comes in a small flip-top compact and is easy to apply and blend with your fingers, a brush, or a sponge. Though emollient, it's not greasy and sets to a satin finish, making it a good option for those with normal, dry, and combination skin. (Those with oily to very oily skin might find it too creamy.)
Coverage is medium to full, and it does a good job of covering dark circles, brown spots, and areas of redness without looking cakey. One caveat: The wax base makes it not the ideal option for covering breakouts.
This concealer wears well throughout the day without fading and with minimal creasing, especially if you apply a powder over it.
More to love: It provides broad-spectrum SPF 35 with an in-part titanium dioxide sunscreen.
True to M.A.C.'s other complexion products, a wide shade range is offered, with workable options for fair to deep skin tones.
Overall, this is a great concealer with a lot of traits to love, including impressive-looking coverage and sun protection!
Note: This concealer is virtually identical to Estee Lauder's Double Wear Stay-in-Place High Cover Concealer SPF 35 ($24), with the same type and amount of sunscreen ingredients, and the same inactive ingredients, only the Lauder product has a higher pricer tag (Estee Lauder owns M.A.C.)!
