This eye cream is housed in a pen-style applicator and makes all the usual claims of minimizing the three things women dislike about the eye area: puffiness, dark circles, and, of course, wrinkles.

Despite containing some outstanding ingredients that all skin types need, Icelandic Eye Relief Pen contains enough problematic ingredients to make it not worth considering. The form of menthol it contains (menthyl lactate) is irritating, and the angelica root can cause problems when skin is exposed to sunlight. What a shame—with a few omissions, this would be a very good “portable” eye-area moisturizer, although it must be said that the skin around the eyes does not require a special product labeled "eye cream" or something similar.

One more comment: vitamin K (phytonadione) isn't a miracle-worker for dark circles. Skyn Iceland claims it helps by increasing circulation, but if you think about it for a moment, increasing circulation to dark circles will make them darker (some cases of undereye darkness result from excess blood collecting beneath the eye area, so increasing the bloodflow to this area won't make them lighter).
