Ink For Eyes is a fragrance-free, felt-tip eyeliner that is supposed to offer waterproof, long-lasting wear, but it fails to deliver. While this eyeliner does have some nice qualities (such as a flexible, ultrafine tip for precise application) the bad ultimately outweighs the good—and for what this costs, it should be nothing but exceptional!
The liquid formula applies smoothly, drying almost instantly, but ends up smudging and flaking throughout the day. It can also, oddly enough, leave the eyelid feeling tight. That’s due to the amount of alcohol and film-forming agents in the formula, as both can lead to a feeling of tightness. Furthermore, this eyeliner won’t persevere through water as claimed.
In terms of color, Ink For Eyes imparts rich, black pigmentation with a shiny finish. That in itself isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but if you have crinkly eyelids the shininess will amplify that texture.
