Review Overview

This pigment-rich lipstick has an impressively durable semi-matte finish and very little slip. The shade range is extensive and offers several workable nude, pink and red options. This beauty bargain compares to high-end product from YSL and Bobbi Brown. It's definitely worth a try!

Brand Overview

Wet 'n' Wild At-A-Glance

Strengths: Inexpensive, good tinted moisturizer with sunscreen; some attractive bronzing powders; mostly good eyeshadow and lipstick options.

Weaknesses: Unimpressive concealers; large assortment of average to poor eyelining products; the mascaras do little to impress; some lip products suffer from the inclusion of irritants; the makeup brushes.

Wet 'n' Wild is one of the few cosmetics companies around that prides itself on being extraordinarily cheap, although the prices have increased across the board since we last revisited this brand. But don't let its hokey name and pre-teen marketing tactics deter you, because there are some great options available, and the packaging has improved in almost every category. The best-performing products will seem like steals, while the less impressive to horrible products will quickly have you thinking, "you get what you pay for." It is not very often that a line offers such a procession of clear-cut winners and dismal losers, but once you know what to focus on, you won't get soaked by Wet 'n' Wild. This line is available in most major drugstores across the country, and, like most drugstore lines, does not offer testers. Interestingly, the selection of Wet 'n' Wild in Canadian drugstores tends to be better than what U.S. shoppers will find.

Just good? Needs to rated best!

Okay, the packaging is terribly cheap. Don't just throw it in your purse without a cosmetics bag for fear of the cap coming loose or breaking and making a horrible mess. However, that is the one and only drawback. The formula is semi-matte, a little creamy, fragrance-free, and opaque (great for pigmented lips like mine). The color selection is great too! Quite a few of these colors are dupes for high-end lipsticks! At $2 at pop, sometimes even less when it's on promo, it's worth a try. Love!!!

Looks good and feels great!

Love the Wet 'n Wild MegaLast Lipsticks. Definitely matte and long-lasting. Great color range. Nothing else, not even lip balms, soothe my lips like these lipsticks do. I will keep purchasing as long as I can find them. But be forewarned that the packaging is terrible.

wow...?

i liked the formula, creamy and opaque, good color range, i liked the applicator, and it had a beautiful finish. my only problem is that it doesn't come off my lips, i could scrub and scrub and it wont come off! it doesn't transfer while eating, drinking, or ANYTHING. i could not get this off whether i used makeup remover, cleansers, removing wipes, this lasting power is a little bit too good. i would recommend it for people who have 18-20 hr days and dont like touching up their makeup.
