It has multiple functions in cosmetic products, ranging from hair and conditioning agent to surfactant (cleansing agent), and emulsifier. This ingredient is always synthetic, and the "26" number refers to the molecular weight of the ingredient. PPG-26-buteth-26 makes skin feel very smooth. It is considered non-irritating.
