Cell-Communicating Ingredients

A blend of palmitic acid (a fatty acid) with several amino acids, including alanine, arginine, aspartic acid, glycine, histidine, lysine, proline, serine and/or valine. Although research is far from conclusive and formulary protocols need to be followed to ensure the peptide remains stable during use, it is also possible that Palmitoyl oligopeptide may stimulate collagen production and encourage the production of intercellular matrix substances such as hyaluronic acids.

The current regulatory name for this peptide is now palmitoyl hexapeptide-12.
