zinc PCA

A synthetic skin-conditioning ingredient derived from zinc, research has shown it to have anti-aging benefits due to its ability to supress collagenase, an enzyme that, left unchecked, breaks down healthy collagen in skin (Source: International Journal of Cosmetic Science, February 2012, pages 23-28). Zinc PCA applied to skin also has shown promise for reducing excess oil, making it a good ingredient in products designed to fight signs of aging and excess oil (Source: http://www.personalcaremagazine.com/Print.aspx?Story=1877).
