Great Product
I am 58 years old. I have been using this product for several months. I mix the Slip Into Silk Body Lotion and the Beautiful Body Butter together and use them for an all-over body moisturizer after my bath. I have had wonderful results using them in this way. My skin has been dramatically improved. Skin is softer, and the lines and wrinkles on my hands are much less noticeable. I would highly recommend these products.

Delicious cream for skin
It smells irresistably delicious and the texture is satiny smooth and very cushiony. I wish I could eat this antioxidant-rich cream with bread everyday, but I'm going to concede it to my skin..

Great hair cream too!
I adore this for my dry hands and nails (and elbows and knees and toes etc) but I especially love to run a little of this through the length and twist some through the ends of my hair. My hair is long and blonde and I find that this lovely cream adds just the right amount of light moisture so that my hair looks smoother, fuller and has a nicer texture - more 'piecey' and less fluffy. I usually squeeze some out and start to rub it into my palms and fingers but, just before it starts to absorb, I run my hands through my hair and kind of press and twist the cream into the ends. Beautiful Product
This is the best cream I have used for my hands and other dry areas. The scent is light and pleasing, and it repairs my hands literally overnight. My only concern is the difficulty in getting the product out of the tube. It really is too thick to come out easily of a hole the size of the one in the tube. Wonderful!
I've only used one hand cream that was this good, and it cost twice as much. It really works--almost immediately. I need a perfect hand product because I use a lot of silk in my embroidery and knitting, and dry hands snag, ruining the silk. While it's a smallish tube, you only need a little. It'll last a good while.

Beautiful Body Butter, I love you
I have trouble finding products for extra dry skin because I am also allergic to fragrance. Most emollient products are loaded with perfume but not this one! This body butter has changed my life. It is so decadent, creamy, soothing, relieving, and hydrating that is like having a spa day every time I use it. I use it all over my body just after a shower and let set in. Then I spread a thin layer of fragrant free almond oil all over to seal it in. The effects lasts for days... I am so happy!

EXCELLENT cream, worst tube.
I put a "1" so people would read this. It is an excellent cream. But if you live in the north, this is almost impossible to get out of the tube in the winter. Especially if you have any arthritis or tendonitis. PLEASE RETHINK THE PACKAGING! Soothes and cools my burning hands
My hands are very sensitive and get really dry and irritated in the winter. I work at an animal hospital and wash my hands all day, so they are often red and feel like they're burning. I've tried other fragrance-free creams for sensitive skin that have actually made my hands burn so badly I've had to wash them off. Paula's Body Butter, on the other hand, soothes the irritation and cools the burning. It lasts for hours and doesn't feel greasy. And I LOVE the cocoa butter smell! It's very light, not overpowering and makes me feel more relaxed - like a dose of aromatherapy. The only drawbacks are the price and the unyielding packaging. Great but small and pricey
I really like this product. My daughter has bad eczema on her feet and it is the only product I've found that actually helps. It also works great on my hands that get very dry in the winter. My reason for giving it a 4 is the size, price and packaging. You don't get a lot for your money and it is difficult to get the product out of the tube when it is starting to get low. I usually resort to cutting the tube open to get the last weeks worth of product out. Not what Paula intended I'm sure. I hope they work on this problem.

Still using a drugstore body butter...
Though I use Paula's Choice products almost exclusively, I just can't get over the price of Beautiful Body Butter. I also find it a little too thick and pasty and doesn't moisturize as well as it seems like it should. It does smell good... but I will continue to use the soft, creamy and much less expensive body butter I get at the drugstore. And like most other reviewers, this is the one skincare item I prefer in a tub/jar.

Love it . . .But
I LOVE this product for my very dry hands and feet. I have tried dozens of products and this is the best . . . BUT . . . I don't like the tube and I wish it smelled prettier. So I squeeze it out of the tube and put it in a large tub and add several drop of cypress essential oil, mix it and it smells divine. I put it on at night and cover my hands with cotton gloves and my feet with cotton socks. In the morning, my skin is soft!!!!! Wish it came in a tub. A lifesaver!
Last winter when I was having the worst rosacea flare-up of my life, this product was the only thing that soothed the terrible irritation I had. My face was swollen and raw -- not even petrolatum helped. Once I started using this, my face began to heal very quickly. I also love it for hands, feet and elbows, but the effect it had in healing and protecting my painful rosacea is priceless. I agree that it is difficult to get out of the tube, especially when there's not much left. It was better in the tub packaging
I used to love this body butter in the tub packaging. I'd use on my hands before bed and they still felt great in the morning. For whatever reason, I don't find it works as well since it was switched to a tube. Also the tube is wasteful - it's impossible to get it all out of the tube, and it's very hard to dispense the amount you want when the package is less than 1/4 full. Good normal skin conditions, but not eczema
I bought this product because 1) it seemed like the heavy-duty body moisturizer of the line, and 2) after reading some reviews that said that it helped clear their eczema (I have eczema on certain areas of my hands). While it is a decent moisturizer, I don't think you should expect this to clear your eczema. I specifically bought this to try on my eczema-prone hands (after those rave eczema reviews). While it certainly didn't make my eczema worse, it didn't actually moisturize my eczema-related dryness. It sort of covered the dryness (a temporary 'fix') but didn't really moisturize. Therefore, I kept having to put it on with no real long-lasting effects to improving my skin condition. So overall, it's a good moisturizer, but I personally wouldn't say it improves eczema-related skin problems. If you have eczema, I suggest you go see a dermatologist rather than spend money on this product.

because this product is fantastic, but the tube has become a deal breaker for me. It is much too difficult to get the product out and I ended up having to cut the tube open and store it in a jar anyway. Do people really not wash their hands before they go digging in a body butter pot? Perfect, except for the smell
This is really a fabulous moisturizer. I have very dry hands in the winter, and this does the trick to heal the dry spots. My main gripe is with the smell. Maybe it's my own skin chemistry? It starts out well, nicely chocholate-y, but then dissolves into a downright fishy smell. I really like Paula's Choice because she doesn't fragrance her stuff, but I wish PC would add some melon smell or something to mask the fishy smell. I will continue to use, because it heals dry skin so well, but I'm hopeful for a better smell formulation in the future.

Best Lotion Ever!!
My 3 yr old has eczema, and I've tried almost every super-emollient lotion out there. This is the best! It doesn't sting if he has raw, cracked skin and leaves his skin smooth and supple, which reduces the itching. Two issues for improvement: It's impossible to get the lotion out once it's about 2/3 gone, because it's very thick. I had to cut open the tube and store it in a baggie. Also, I'd love a larger size. One tube lasts me about a week and a half (using it head to toe on my 3 yr. old twice a day). I buy several tubes at once, but I'd rather buy something larger and save packaging. Love the creme but not the package
The creme is lovely, but the small size of the tube, high cost and difficulty in getting the product out will prevent me from ordering. I also had to cut the tube to get the last of the creme out. Sorry, because the formula is great!

Great Product, But...
Five stars for the product, but 1 star for the amount of product and the price. The lotion is amazing, but I go through it so quickly and I can't afford to buy a new one every two weeks. Oh, well. Every other product of Paula's that I use is equally excellent and very affordable.

The BEST!!!!
This is the BEST hand cream on the market. My hands were constantly chapped, raw looking and overall just OLD looking.
I tried every hand cream out there from a drugstore brand to high end, either it didn't work or was too greasy and I had to reapply all day. ONE application of beautiful body butter and it looks like 20 years have been taken off, sinks right in, not greasy and does what it supposed to do. I use all over my body and my feet and elbows thank-you.

I wanted so much for this to work
I use many of Paula's products and love them so I was very excited to try the Beautiful Body Butter. I read the reviews and thought, "This should work well on my feet." The product is okay, but it does not give me enough moisture to keep my heels smooth and soft. Prior to Paula's brand I was given a gift of Arbonne Body Butter and it worked really well. I am going to have to seek out an Arbonne consultant to get my soft feet back. Sorry Paula!

Effective hydrocortisone replacement
Tried this to treat my hand and fingertip eczema and for the first time my skin feels hydrated and non-itchy. I stopped using the hydrocortisone and Betamethasone Dipropionate creams. It's very soothing and except for the strong cocoa butter smell, this is the best thing i've ever tried.

Lovely but pricey
I would have given this 5 stars but the price holds me back. This cream is really nice and really works. I have extremely dry, cracked heels. This cream made an amazing difference after only 1 application. It is wonderful on my hands as well. To be honest it is the only PC product I've had any success with. My only frustration is the small size and high price (over $4 an ounce plus shipping!). Light smell of chocolate that might annoy some but I find it nice.

Love the Butter, but it needs a scent!
I love what this body butter does for my feet. But it smells like food oil gone bad. Can't you put a little bit of agreeable scent into formula? U am using a new tube, so I know it has not spoiled. Works like nothing else!
Every winter my skin gets dry, unbearably itchy, and frequently cracks and bleeds. It responds to no product I have ever tried, including prescription ointments, until this. I love it! And a little bit goes a long way; one jar lasted me all winter. The only thing I didn't care for was the jar, as dipping into a jar over and over is a little icky, but the new tube packaging is perfect.

Wonderfully moisturizing but odd scent
Disclaimer: I have a very sensitive sense of smell, so this product's smell may not bother everyone. I think it's primarily from the Cacao Seed Butter because it smells somewhat like chocolate as another reviewer noted. I absolutely love how emollient it is, though, and will be keeping it, buy not reordering.

I love this body butter and I think it smells lovely. I use it on myself and on my babies after their baths. I have noticed a huge difference in our dry winter skin and my feet look great, thanks to this product and the 2%BHA lotion. It is worth every penny and I would not stop buying it no matter how you packaged it. However, I do think it was silly to change the packaging from the tub to the tube. It does not make this more portable and it just makes it harder to get the product out. I wish other customers would stop complaining about the packaging of your products and focus on the product itself.

Wonderful, especially for wintertime skin

Surprising discovery!
I purchased the Body Butter to soften my dry skin but was incredibly surprised by the positive effect it had on the appearance of my nails!
My nails have always been horrible, and unless I spent LOTS of time fussing with them they were dry, brittle and forever breaking.
After using the Body Butter for several days I was shocked when I realized my nails were no longer breaking! Now I massage just a little bit of the Body Butter into my nails every day and now they finally look healthy without all the time and expensive products I was using before.

Incredible cream!
I usually use this cream every night on my legs, feet and hands. love it except for the scent
I like to use body butter on my legs, ordered a sample of this and love the moisturizing quality but not the odd scent. Smells a bit like chocolate when you open the package, and after application has a slightly fishy scent.

Great moisturizer!
This product instantly moisturized my hands and feet without feeling greasy. It absorbed easily into my heels and cuticles that needed moisturizing so badly! The scent is a faint cocoa butter scent which I find to be light and not over powering. Having been through chemotherapy, I am unable to tolerate most scented products. It is obvious that this product contains no "masking" scent and that does not bother me at all!

We Love our Instant Gratification
My skin got so dry it was actually pretty rediculous. Also, my 9 month old baby started to have dry patches on his arms and back. I ordered this lotion, and it is so thick that it just about melts once you take it out of the jar. The scent has a hint of chocolate (probably from the cocoa seed butter), but it is still fragrance free. After using it just ONE time, my skin looked great, and the dry patches on my baby are gone after using it twice. That is some instant gratification if you ask me. Awesome.

love the cream, not the packaging
I loved this cream. I am constantly in search for anything to rescue my dry, cracking hands from bleeding splits, especially around my thumbnails. And I adore that all Paula products are unscented. Any scent at all in products I smear on my hands seems to end up on my face and makes my eyes itch and run.
However I wish this came in a tube. I am maybe a little too cootie conscious and hate things I dip into. I also resent the false bottom making this package bulkier than it needs to be. And it takes up too much counter space in my tiny house being short and wide. Please, please consider packaging this in one of your beautifully designed tubes that sit on their heads so product is always ready to squeeze out and stays relatively sterile inside the package. And takes up almost no space on the counter.

Nothing works better
I have incredibly dry skin--itchy, flaky, feels like it's two sizes too small--and I live in a desert 7,000 feet above sea level. Everything I've tried, if not completely ineffective, had to be reapplied several times throughout the day. Paula's Beautiful Body Butter, on the other hand, provides real relief. Best Body Butter..
I absolutely love your body butter! It is the only moisturizer I can use on my dry feet that doesn't make my itching worse. Most other body butters work great at first, then they worsen my itching to where I have to apply them every few hours. Your product is the only one that doesn't do this! I can apply it once and not need to reapply for 7-8 hours. It's also the first tub of body butter I've ever finished!

I recently tried your Beautiful Body Butter. I have regular pedicures, but also wear sandals and slides nearly all summer. Another difference is that Beautiful Body Butter is a water-based cream whereas the Lip & Body Treatment Balm is plant oil–based and does not contain water, which gives it a more viscous texture and slightly glossy finish.
