Disappointed
I was really hoping that I would be able to enjoy this product based on its description but it just didn't measure up. I tried this teeth whitening stick many times and there simply was no difference in whiteness. I even tested out on half of the teeth in my smile zone so I could compare the before and after results and there really wasn't any difference. The only thing that earned it an extra star is its pleasant smell and taste. It's not worth the money for shipping to return this product since I already wasted $15 dollars purchasing it.

Use strips instead
Due to all the rave reviews, I bought 2 tubes of this. It's messy to use, flakes off in little bits upon application, application of product is uneven and unsanitary - its like applying candle wax on one's teeth. Using teeth whitening strip would be easier, and if you want convenience, use the dissolvable kind.

Didn't see a difference
I use this product in the afternoon to brighten up my smile before going out in the evening. I just haven't noticed whiter teeth at all. To be fair, my teeth are fairly white, I was just hoping this would make them whiter. It does have a hint of mint that I like and it went on okay. It isn't messy. It couldn't whiten my teeth
I copied the video and instructions but couldn't get it to whiten my pale yellow to white teeth even though I'm not a wine or coffee drinker. It was a shame as I'ld originally bought this specifically from the US site as this is not available in my country. It's hard to apply evenly with the stick not filling up the width of the hollow inside the tube so it wobbles around and feels like it will break off if you apply too much pressure. But this tastes great and the size is handy. It's an intriguing product and would be my staple if it worked so I'm keeping an eye out for an updated formula so I can try that instead. But for now I don't know what to do with the current stick I have, my friends and family want to try it but it's not like I can pass it along if it's already been on my teeth and in my mouth. Better than strips!
This is a much more pleasant and effective way to wighten your teeth than strips. I think it takes more applications but I get less sensitivity and it's a lot easier to apply.

Doesn't work, but doesn't irritate
I really wanted to like this product but it completely did not work for me. I tried it a few different times on one side of my front teeth and there was no difference from the untreated side. Great whitening product!
I think this product is great! It definitely works, is quick & easy to apply, you don't need to rinse or not have use of your mouth for more than just a few minutes. Of course if your teeth are really yellow/stained I would recommend getting a professional teeth whitening process done too. This stick is perfect and very convenient for a fast whitening.

This product works very well. My 10 year old son uses it on his teeth each night before going to bed and within 1-2 weeks his yellow toned teeth were significantly whiter. This product is effective - you can definitely see a difference after you use it. However, I don't like that it's in a "wax" stick - I find it hard to get a uniform coating on my teeth. Would be so great as a liquid you could gargle or something. Also, on 2 of my tubes, the stick part just broke right off and I had to throw them out. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!
I have done Crest white strips which work great but take time and are annoying in your mouth. I have also done Zoom which was expensive, a pain to do, made my teeth sensitive and wore off too quickly. This, on the other hand, is awesome! I bought a tiny lip brush to paint it on my teeth and work it into the crevices that had stains. Works well when you want to get the remaining last bit in the tube too. Well, my stains are gone! I could use this everyday but I don't need to. Within 4 days (2 X daily) I was bright and white. It is pleasant tasting and I just brush it on and forget about it. Please don't discontinue this amazing product!

Didn't stay on teeth well, hard to apply. It is kind of the consistency of a crayon. Didn't notice any whitening.
It was gentle. I usually have sensitivity when whitening - kind of makes me wonder how strong the active ingredient is. Tastes good.

I have been a dental assistant for over 25 years and will be recommending this product to our patients who ask about touch-ups after a professional whitening treatment. No need for trays, gels, or strips.
This whitener has a pleasant taste and it's not messy to use. My teeth were noticeably lighter the first time I
used it.
I would like to remind every one not to have unrealistic expectations. No amount of whitening will change the color of composite or
amalgam fillings, crowns,
or veneers. Also, everyone's teeth have variations of yellow, gray, and brown. Some shades will not lighten as fast as others.
I drink iced tea every day and carry this in my purse for touch-ups.

It works, but very temporarily
I admit that I drink red wine and black coffee. I've tried OTC whiteners with fair success. This stuff does work in two minutes, as claimed. Sadly, the affect seems to disappear in less than 2 hours. Very goood, but don't expect wonders
It is a great idea to have a 2 miute whitener in a lipstick like packaging. It did not whiten my teeth like the whitening done at dentist's office, but I did not expect that from this product.
I think that this product is meant for small touch up/ maintainance kind of whitening. Very handy when you are drinking wine/ coffee (or having other teeth staining foods)and want to have a clean white smile in 2 minutes. You can slip out for a few minutes, apply it, and be back without other's knowing it.
Very convenient, if you keep your expectations realistic.

This is the best product I've found to whiten my teeth. The Crest white strips made my teeth so sensitive I couldn't use them, and are unpleasant to use because they have to be left in so long, while you drool :-s. I then tried Just 5 minutes, which I liked better, but this one is way better than both of those! The results in just 2 minutes are sooo much more dramatic, and last a long time, and no sensitivity! 5 stars for sure.

Amazing from the first use!
This product whitened my teeth with only one use and I am a daily coffee drinker! I'll never use those annoying strip whitening products again. I know some reviewers stated it didn't work for them, but works fantastically for me. I give my teeth a touch-up every few weeks and I sure they would be even whiter if I used it more frequently.

I tried this product in March 2011. I used about 3/4 of it, and the actual whitening worked. However, the whitening effect wore off after about 2 weeks. Now I swear my teeth look more yellow than I before I used the product. I've used dentists' products to whiten before, and this has never happened. I've been using this once daily for about 2 weeks now. It's absolutely made my smile brighter. Infact, within a few days I noticed a difference. It's gentle and I don't notice any sensitivity with my teeth. I just have a brighter, whiter smile. I am stocking up and purchasing a few at a time so I don't run out. Great product!

This works
If your expectations are reasonable, you'll be happy with this product. I think it brightened my teeth by two shades or so. The difference is visible. I used it twice a day ( but I also used a mouthwash with hydrogen peroxide at the same time, which didn't work on its own before). Obviously, our teeth will not go from stained yellow to snow white ( unless you use it five times a day for weeks) , but it definitely works and it's a reasonable price. The only thing I didn't like was the flavour. But then peroxides do not taste great as a rule. I

I would buy this again
I wasn't sure how this was going to plan out but I'm impressed. It takes off the stains, I'd say it makes them 1 or 2 shades lighter. I've been using this for a week though. The enamel in my teeth has been worn out for years and are very sensitive to teeth whitening when I tried bleaching a year ago. As sensitive as my teeth are, I'm surprised this didn't hurt at all. This is a great substitute to teeth whitening and will forever keep buying this.

I'm on the bandwagon of praise for this Whitener. It really does whiten from the first application, I was doubtful, but am now amazed! I have a strong gag-reflex, and hate strips and trays and such apparatus. This "teeth balm" is just a breeze to use/apply and works very, very effectively. And you really don't need to rinse...!

I love this product! I've wasted tons of $$ for products at the drugstore and at the dentist which do the same thing. I still use a whitening mouth wash/tooth paste, but I like to use this when I'm on the go so I keep this in my purse. It took some getting used to at first; I pressed too hard and it left a film for too long. Once you get used to it, it does the trick!

Great for food/coffee stains. No mess. I cut a cotton square in half and stuff in under my lips so I look like a chipmunk and apply. I rub it in with my finger. No sensitivity and nontoxic. Easy to use and effective. Great product!

I don not se that this does anything at all. Maybe if you already have really white teeth and just need a "touch up" it might be ok. I found it hard to use -dii not stay on teeth .

Worked about 60%.
I got two tubes of this for hubby. The first one didn't work and then tried the second one. It got about 60% of the stain off. So it worked o.k. for hubby but not great. It might just be his teeth.

I am very happy with the Brighten Up teeth whitener. I read about it in a magazine ( I believe it was Redbook) where people test new products. The results were very convincing to me so I went right on line and ordered. I actually ordered two because the price was so reasonable and it often happens that when you find something you like, it disappears from the marketplace. I was very impressed with the results right away. Since I have some bonding on my teeth, even my own dentist said that whiteners would be a waste of time and money for me. Well this product actually worked wonders! I can't wait until he sees my teeth next time. I recently quit smoking and was going to splurge on some kind of expensive treatment and I am so happy I bought this instead! Hope you keep it around for a long, long time. I've noticed a very minimal whitening. I'm not sure I'll buy again. I wish this came with a brush applicator instead to get in difficult areas of the teeth. After applying, I look like I have white bread stuck in my teeth until my body heat melts it.

What a great product. I especially love the fact that it only takes 2 minutes. The stains vanished after 2 minutes and my teeth were whiter (not paper white) but a natural change. This is an excellen product; better than Crest Premium strips and much cheaper. A couple of weeks after starting to use Brighten Up I had a tooth capped. My dentist said he had to use his "brightest" shade as a match and commented, "your teeth are very nice and white." That is enough for me. One suggestion--please work on the packaging so that every last bit of the product is pushed up. There is a lot left in the bottom that must be scooped out with a q-tip. White Teeth for $15!!!
Unbelievable! Like many others, I've tried many types of whiteners. Paula's is by far, the MOST effective, easiest method possible! I can't believe that for $15 I experienced: whiter teeth after ONE USE, no discomfort or sensitivity, and professional results in my own home. My stains are primarily coffee stains and normal aging, but I will order this forever to maintain a bright smile. I bought this product because it had great reviews and I was looking for a product to remove the coffee stains from my teeth. By no means do i have yellow teeth, but after using this product my smile was instantly brighter! There is no other product at the drugstore like this!

This works, but mine only lasted a few days. Product is small and costly for what you get. Also, I can't get the rest out of the tube easily.
Taste is nice and mild and I like that I can easily whiten behind my teeth (teeth are translucent and any stains behind teeth should be whitened as well for a really nice effect), but the peroxide gave me chapped lips, since it's hard to apply without touching my lips.
I won't be ordering again for size, price, product left at bottom is hard to get out and results are not THAT fantastic.

Works Very Well
This product worked very well for me. The application is simple and effective. I like that you can apply exactly where you want, so you can touch up a tooth that other whitening methods don't reach as well. I did see improvement in my teeth. I did not experience any tooth sensitivity, and I am prone to that problem (If you also have this problem, using a fluoride mouthwash and a toothpaste made for sensitive teeth helps a lot when whitening). I agree with other reviews--Paula's Choice, please make this a regular product, rather than a limited edition. I didn't have a problem with the taste, though can see how some people might--it's a highly personal thing. Overall, I recommend this and think you will find it worth the money.

Getting it all out of the tube

I don't think I've ever had a tooth whitener work on the very first use. Usually you have to wait a week or so to see results. Excellent. A note to the customers: this is DEFINITELY GENTLER than the drug store brands, which is a good thing. It doesn't work quite as quite as quickly or spectacularly, but those other brands work so well because they are damaging your teeth (ever notice a slight ache after using the other brands?). Paula's version is perfect.

I was very excited about this product. I read a lot of great reviews but sadly I don't see any change in color after applying. Too bad it didn't work for me. Very disappointed. I crest strips work much better.

I don't know whether it's the actual make up of the product that makes it so great or the application and 2-minute wait time. I suspect it's both. First, the product really works. I've been using it about twice a day for less than a week and my teeth are noticably whiter and brighter. Second, the application is so easy and the whole process is so quick that I can actually DO it easily during my morning and bedtime routines.

I bought this item based on previous reviews & am soooo glad I did! I love my coffee and red wine but not the dullness the drinks leave. In addition, I have a naturally yellow cast to my teeth. This brightener works wonders the very first time, not to mention what my teeth look like after just one week of applying it twice daily! I have had a maddening time trying to know what to do with my coffee/tea stained teeth, and giving up those vices was not the answer for me. I can't afford professional whitening procedures and over-the-counter products were either too difficult to use or didn't really work. But this does. I did have to use it for about three days to see results. But then my teeth only got whiter. Now I can smile again with confidence! Please consider keeping this product around!

Totally Impressed
I wasn't sure how well this product could possibly work because it is so different from the strips and trays that are out there. Plus the brush on stuff never really worked. However, I must say that this product does what it says. I noticed brighter teeth pretty much straight away. The greatest part is that it is so easy to use and doesn't take long at all. I also have an oral sensitivity and those other products make me gag. This product just stays in the front where you put it and I have no issues with it. Good stuff!

I have always wanted to try whitening my teeth but didn't want to go through the hassle of strips or the cost of professional treatments. This is the coolest product I've come across in a long time! I ordered it within hours of it being put on your website on 12/31. I received it yesterday and immediately tried it out. I was at first perplexed how this lip balm-type product would work. I gently rubbed it on my front teeth and was surprised how well it adhered to the teeth. You don't need much. I'm not even sure if I waited a full 2 minutes but when I smiled in the mirror, my teeth were noticeably whiter! There weren't any stains I needed to remove because I had just brushed my teeth about an hour before trying it. And that's exactly what I was hoping this whitener would do - make my teeth already whiter than they were. I'm going to order a couple more because I do NOT want to be without this! I REALLY hope this becomes a permanent item in your product lineup!!

Im happy with this product. The packaging is nice and function is practical. The product itself goes on easy and in seconds dissolves to cover all areas of teeth filling in between spaces. I was impressed after just one application. Id like to see this product stay in the line cause lately ive been disappointed with the discontinuation of paulas CLEAR MOISTURIZING LIP GLOSS. I hope in time paula could give that lip gloss color a return.

I liked this product, i noticed the differense after using, esp it was useful after drinking wine in the restaurant where you can't brush your teeth. But I noticed also that it made my teeth more sensitive. I can use it only once or twice a week, not more often.
