Best Brow
This products thickens, tints and improves my brow look quickly and wonderfully. I found it works best when used like mascara, a gentle sweep with a little wiggle gets it in all the right places. I groom first with a bit of clear lip balm and a brow brush, then apply the tint. Works like a charm every time and is an asset to the morning make-up hustle. Love it!

It smudged for me
After speaking with a customer rep about choosing a product to cover the gray hairs in my med/dark eyebrows, I decided on this product in sable even though the rep said it has a slight reddish tone. The product application can be adjusted so it didn't look two caterpillars crawling across my face. However, the first day I used it, I couldn't figure out why I had "dirt" on my finger & finger nail. It wasn't dirt but the brow tint. It came off throughout the day whenever I touched my brows. I had such high hopes this would cover the grays, stay put & not look fake. I'll keep looking. I love many of Paula's products but not this one. Does not work for me
Reading the reviews, everyone loves the brow/hair tint. For me it is useless. It tints my greying brows for about an hour then fades and the grey comes back. The concept sounded good. I don't usually take the time to do online reviews like this, but...
If you like it "natural" and you have maybe tweezed too much in your past, this will fill in and look natural AND without any fuss. I am fair with either blonde or strawberry-blonde haircolor; and the "blonde" shade works well.

This was a great product in Auburn. It's nearly impossible to find cosmetics in colors for redheads that look good, but this was one of them. Great Product

This is a great product, and while I can get by with the Fawn color for my brows despite my red hair, I loved the auburn and wish you still had it, especially now that I need it for my roots! I agree with the other reviewers who've stated that this is the best brow tint available and auburn was the perfect color for redheads. Since it was discontinued, I have searched and searched but cannot find anything similar online or in stores. I prefer this to a brow pencil yet I cannot even find a pencil that is the correct color to match my red hair. Please consider bringing back the auburn color!! It was the best. Thank you. Loved for years, but please bring back auburn
I have used this product for years and absolutely love it! Unfortunately, the auburn color was discontinued. For many redheads, it leaves no good options. Great!!! Can't find in stores
I have very sparse brows. First I use a brow pencil, then a brown powder to set the pencil, and then I use the brow tint as my final step. By the time I am done, I have natural looking brows. If you just need a little boost, this product would work by itself. It is actually a brow "mascara".

The best one!
My eyebrows are very fair, so it looks like I don't have any! I love Paula's brow tint. The brush is perfect for eyebrows and the colour is perfect. It applies smooth and covers each fine hair but never clumps, so it looks very natural. I have tried many brow tints - this one is the best!

Color Confusion
I'm a huge fan of Paula's products but was disappointed on receiving Blonde in the Brow/Hair Tint. I ordered based on the colors on the website but in reality this color is darker than shown and has a pronounced reddish cast. Adding to the confusion, the catalogue enclosed with my order shows Fawn to be the lighter and "blonder" shade, which I'm certain no one would think to be the case looking on the website. I Now Have Beautiful Brows!
Overplucking as a teen left me with very skimpy eyebrows; now that I'm 52 even the skimpy ones are going gray. This product, along with PC's precision pen have turned my eyebrows from faint to fabulous! I love, love, love this product. There is a learning curve since both products go on differently from an eyebrow pencil. Hey, take about five minutes at night and play -- you'll figure it out, get it right and you'll be oh-so-glad you did!

Simple to Use

brow tint- sable
This product works very well, and if you have a light hand, looks very natural, if you don't, you wind up looking like Joan Crawford. I use the Sable color and I have to be sure to remove some of the product from the brush by brushing it against the opening of the tube few times, otherwise it comes out too thick & looks unnatural. I imagine that would only be an issue if you use the darkest color. Overall, I am happy with this product.

OUTSTANDING
I am using the color SABLE. The applicator allows for flawless application. The color gives me absolute perfection to my eyebrows all day long with no smudging even in the summer heat. At night it washes off perfectly with Paula's Hydralight cleanser. I highly recommend it. This product deserves a standing ovation!

Blonde is Great
I have been using the blonde color for years on my practically clear brows. This is the only product around that is the right color for very fair redheads. My 14 year old daughter inherited my coloring, and it was easy for her to learn to use this same product.

Wonderful brow color and control

Brow/Hair Tint
I use a Cool Med. Brown hair dye and bought Fawn. Blends well. The real surprise was that I was 'losing' the ends of my brows and never noticed until I was playing with this product and brushed over them. AMAZING how much more youthful it looked. It is a keeper.

Perfect!
I have coarse, unruly brow hair and this keeps them in place without looking stiff and feeling sticky. I also have a scar from a childhood accident in the middle of my right brow; the colour 'sable' matches my dark brown/almost black brow hair and fills in the gap impeccably. Everyday product
I was born with dk brown hair that is very grey now, coloured mid-blonde. I have white hairs in my thinning eyebrows and the blonde shade naturally defines my brows without a "made-up" look. I brush on a little taupe eyeshadow as well for a more defined brow with a more formal look. This is a great product, a step up from clear mascara on the brows--I think I got that tip from Paula in the 80's.

Love it!
I get my hair coloured but it seems that the grey shows quickly along my hairline. This product is fabulous for covering the evil grey until my next colour. I love the long bristles on the one side so that only my hair gets coverage - not my skin (as it did with brown mascara)! I do find that I have to dab the end of the brush on a kleenex first to get rid of any excess - then it applies beautifully and stays on until it gets washed off.

Brow & Hair Tint
Was having my brows tinted at my local spa, however after trying your brow tint, will continue using as covers my stray grey hairs well. The only complaint I have is that you are quite scimpy with the product. It seems that I can only use it for 10 applications before it is all gone.

The reviews posted convinced me to try this brow tint although I was skeptical. I had been talked into other tints that were most like mascara so it did not look natural, etc. When I first applied this, I thought it was empty. It applied so easily, naturally, no muss/fuss, no clumps, etc. Then I realized my eyebrows were indeed re-appearing and looked incredibly natural. I can not recommend this tint enough. Perfect for skimpy brows!
Between overplucking as a teen, greying hair and further thinning from menopause, my brows looked almost non-existant past the middle of my eye. I've tried pencils and powders but even with a light hand and matching my hair color, felt like my brows looked painted on. This product gives a natural look that lasts all day! It clumps much less than any other brow gel I've tried, and the long brush bristles prevent the color from being deposited on the skin, stays on the hairs where I want it.

Love, love, love this product! Have very light eyebrows (true blonde!?!)and I hate using pencil. It goes on perfect and stays until I take it off. The "blonde" color is dark, so don't think you need to go darker if you are not blonde.

Disappointing
I bought this to try on my roots. The problem I find is that the brush doesn't really work. It gets easily stuck in my curly hair, so I can't get the color on effectively. I think it would be better with a brush applicator.

Love this product
This is a fantastic product, but I would like to suggest that you change the wand slightly. Since you can really only use the tip of the wand to apply to the brows, a lot of product is wasted. Rather than make the wand the size of a mascara wand, I think a shorter wand would make for better use of the brow tint.

It works!
This is the only thing I have found that works. I have even tried dying my brows, which works great, but is very expensive to repeat frequently. I apply clear mascara and shape my brows first. After drying, I apply the brow tint. I use the blonde shade as I have strawberry blonde hair and the color is perfect.

Our Brow/Hair Tint shapes and defines the brows with an easy-to-use, dual-sided brush applicator. Unlike traditional eyebrow pencils which tend to be too dry or greasy, Brow/Hair Tint is lightweight, dries in seconds, and provides natural brow enhancement and definition. Directions: Use the Brow/Hair Tint as your last or close-to-last product. You do not want any of your powder-based products to cling to your brows or mess your neatly created brows!

This will help prevent creating a too-strong, "angry-looking" brow.
Be patient—it will probably take you a few times through to get the hang of it. You may also find that you need to play around with the amount of product on the brush to get the correct amount for the look you want. If you want fuller brows, it is more than worth a try!
It is still a viable option to use a matte powder eyeshadow to define and fill in the brows (See Paula's Choice Soft Matte Eyeshadow). Some cosmetics companies market brow powders, which are virtually identical to powder eyeshadows, save for the addition of waxes to alter the product's texture.
If you need to tame your brows but do not want or need any color, there are numerous brow gels to try, from Cover Girl to Trish McEvoy. However, a cost-effective way to do this is to use a bit of hairspray or non-sticky styling gel with an old (but still in good condition) toothbrush. Just brush through the brows to set, and you're done.
Eyebrow pencils have several problems: they need sharpening, they tend to have texture that's too dry, which hurts to apply or a texture that's too greasy, which will smudge and/or fade, and it takes a lot of skill and effort to get brow pencils to look convincing. Still, some women are adept at this and prefer the look of a pencil. The worst mistake made with these is trying to "draw" on brows where none exist—this rarely looks natural and often appears too severe.
If you have over-tweezed your brows, the first thing to do is stop all tweezing (for some women this takes much restraint!) and then use a matte powder eyeshadow with a wedge brow brush to lightly "draw in" or recreate your natural brow shape. Tweezing too far into the top of the natural browline will alter the brow's shape, and not always in a flattering way. For best results, tweeze hairs from the underside of the brow and go slowly. Brow/Hair Tint does not have a thick enough consistency to be used as a mascara.
Can Brow/Hair Tint be used as mascara?
We do not advise this due to the product's thinner consistency. The formula wasn't designed to work like mascaras do.
Which color should I choose?
If you have blonde eyebrows, choose Blonde; if your brows are dark blonde to light brown, choose Fawn. Those with medium to dark brown or soft black eyebrows should choose Sable. All other brow colors (including gray and auburn or red) should choose Clear.
How long does it take to dry?
Brow/Hair Tint sets in seconds for hours of worry-free wear.
Is Brow/Hair Tint waterproof?
No. However, it holds up well to light moisture and perspiration.
