Remarkable. I have been on the pill for 15+ years to treat acne - but this is the best. Skin is dry for a couple of weeks while adjusting, but now - absolutely blemish free, supple and glowing. Happy to ship this to the UK. Thanks Paula - life changing!

One Night Wonder
Have chronic milia on my chin/upper lip for several years. No over-the-counter products worked even a little... until I used this product last night for first time. Woke up this morning and found a substantial difference in the size/texture of milia. Wishful thinking or did this product really work a one night miracle? Thanks Paula! I'll be continuing with the product for a long-term miracle!

Wonderful Product
I love this product! The Acne Fighting Treatment is very effective in eliminating acne practically overnight. I have cystic acne and it can be very painful and red. A small amount of this on the pimple or affected area goes a long way. For me it usually begins clearing up within the first 24 hours and the pimple is completely gone within 48 hours. It is very drying so use it sparingly and make sure you use a good moisturizer. I highly recommend this product!

Bummed!
I have to give this product 5 stars, because I use it daily and the 2.5% BP lotion is awesome. However, I am bummed about the packaging. The original gray and white packaging was clean and simple, a CLEAR reflection of Paula's Choice line of skin care products. The new packaging looks like every other 3-step acne product on the market. I dislike being the blazing bright orange acne reminder each time I use this product. Also, the previous name 'blemish fighting solution' was much more appealing than 'acne fighting treatment' will ever be. The former, simple, white and gray packaging was an effective reminder that your products are truthful and stand for themselves. Please bring them back. Thank you.

my saving grace!
I've struggled with acne my whole life and paula's products are the only thing that gives me clear skin. I don't use the toner as it seems to aggravate my skin, and I buy my cleanser per her reviews at the drug store - it's less expensive, but her acne fighting cream is the best. I use the 5%. I am also grateful for her acne myth information. I was doing everything wrong in my skin care and causing my acne to be worse. I am so thankful that I don't have to live with embarrassing acne anymore. Thank you Paula, thank you.

Love the texture. I'll probably switch when I'm out of what I'm using now, since it contains a fragrance. I like the fluidity of Paula's 2.5. I do wish it was a little cheaper. I can buy 3.5 oz. of what I'm using now for about $26, but since Paula's 2.5 is thinner, maybe it will last and price/quantity will even out. I'd also like to say, it's not that easy to find a 2.5% in a substantial size without awful perfume! Great job.

What makes this product unique?
CLEAR Acne Fighting Treatment contains 2.5% benzoyl peroxide which is considered the gold standard for preventing acne breakouts. This works immediately to eliminate acne-causing bacteria and reduce redness. Unlike most benzoyl peroxide products, CLEAR Acne Fighting Treatment contains no irritating ingredients that can make acne worse, such as alcohol, menthol, or camphor. Paula's Choice Acne Fighting Treatment also contains soothing anti-irritants to help skin heal and reduce redness blemishes cause. The super-light lotion texture sets to a matte finish, and can be worn under makeup.

Who is this product for?

How should this product be used?
After cleansing with Paula's Choice CLEAR Normalizing Cleanser and exfoliating with Paula's Choice CLEAR Targeted Acne Relief Toner, cover the affected area with a thin layer of Paula's Choice CLEAR Acne Fighting Treatment 1 to 2 times a day. Directions After cleansing with Paula's Choice Clear Normalizing Cleanser and exfoliating with Targeted Acne Relief Toner, cover the affected area with a thin layer of Acne Fighting Treatment 1–3 times a day. Because some people may experience dryness when they first start using a product with benzoyl peroxide, it may be necessary to reduce application to once every other day or, if twice daily application proves to be too much, reduce application to once daily, morning or evening.
Why doesn't Paula's Choice offer a 10% strength benzoyl peroxide?
Paula feels that once you have tried a 2.5% and then a 5% benzoyl peroxide product and determined that these did not give you results, the next sensible step is to look into a prescription topical antibiotic for blemishes such as Benzamycin or Clindamycin. Trying a 10% benzoyl peroxide may prove effective for some, but the kickback from the irritation and excessive dryness that can occur at this level may not be worth it when there are prescription products that can be more effective without the strong side effects. In any event, truly stubborn, cystic blemishes almost always require the care and supervision of a competent dermatologist.
What happened to your Blemish Fighting Solution?
Nothing happened except a name change! The same formula that's worked so well for thousands of Paula's Choice customers struggling with acne has been renamed and added to our Clear line. Paula wanted to reposition this product as part of her streamlined, 3-step approach for achieving clear skin. Other than the name, Clear Acne Fighting Treatment is identical to our former Blemish Fighting Treatment.
I use one of your Acne Fighting Treatments and have noticed some of my towels and/or pillowcases have become stained, almost as if they were bleached. Why does this happen?
Because these products contain peroxide they may bleach hair or dyed fabrics. Apply carefully around hairline and eyebrows and allow product to absorb and dry completely before coming in contact with dyed fabrics.
