Book + Beautypedia will be Perfect
I ripped open my 1/2/08 delivery of the 7th Edition of Paula's Cosmetics Counter book and read through it voraciously! The positives are the excellent Chapter describing how moisturizer components work and what products and applicatios are needed for various complexion issues. And of course I was thrilled with the up-to-date reviews and picks.

The final size of the book before we made cuts was over 1,800 pages so we needed to make some cuts. Still, all of the major QVC and HSN brands are in the book but we had to cut some of the smaller brands - you CAN find those at Beautypedia.com.

Good reference but last edition was more inclusive of more brands. This edition is missing reviews from many of the companies on QVC and HSN.

The best skincare products guide
I love this book, which is perfect with Beautypedia. But I miss some so important brands like Helena Rubinstein, Kanebo and Lancaster, which are among biggest and most important cosmetic brands around world.

Don't Go...7th edition
You can continue to write these year after year as the cosmetic companies keep changing the names of products, trying to dupe us over and over again.

This is a great book. It allows you to choose products designed for your particular needs, in a price range you choose. It gives all the information needed to be informed and get through the hype. It helped me to build a routine around products I feel confident in. Highly recommend.

Good book, older editions better.
Waited impatiently for new edition to find Biotherm, Vichy, Yves Rocher, Annabelle, Mark (by Avon), etc. not included. I should have bought an older, more inclusive edition.
Customer Care: We attempted to include as many popular lines in the latest book as possible. Biotherm, Vichy, and Mark by Avon are some of the additional lines reviewed on our Beautypedia Web site. Annabelle is a line we're rarely asked about. Unfortunately, including every cosmetic line available would not only be an impossible task but would also make for a book that is several thousand pages long (and who wants to take THAT to the cosmetics counter?).
