Water, Glycolic Acid (alpha hydroxy acid/exfoliant), Sodium Hydroxide (pH adjuster), Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract (chamomile/soothing agent), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (water-binding agent), Camellia Oleifera (Green Tea) Leaf Extract (antioxidant), Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol, Sodium PCA (water-binding agents), Propylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol (slip agents/penetration enhancers), Hydroxyethylcellulose, Polyquaternium-10 (thickeners), Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Isobutylparaben (all preservatives).
Directions: Apply a dime-sized amount to clean skin. Avoid direct contact with the eyes and eyelids. First-time users may experience a slight stinging sensation, which is normal. To avoid irritation, product should be used just once a day or once every other day for the first few weeks. After prolonged use (4–6 weeks), it can be applied twice per day. If redness, dryness, or irritation occurs, cut back the frequency of application or discontinue use.
Your AHA products (glycolic acid) have a higher percentage than your BHA products (salicylic acid). Does this mean they are stronger exfoliants?
The difference in concentrations between AHAs and BHA is not a qualitative one. AHAs are not more effective or better than BHA because of the increased concentration needed for one versus the other. Rather, AHAs are most effective at 5% to 10% and BHA at 1% to 2% concentrations (both with the appropriate pH).
Can the AHA and/or BHA products be used during pregnancy or while lactating?
Although topical exfoliants should not pose a problem for pregnant woman, we do recommend asking your doctor before using any product you are concerned about.

Love it!!!!!
I have been using your skincare for dry to very dry skin and I love it. My skin is finally glowing. I am almost 42 and have always been blessed with good skin (thanks mom). I'm turning 40 in a few days yet twice this week I was pegged as being in my 20's! I love the outdoors, but Paula's skincare has obviously protected my skin and kept it healthy. GREAT products
I'm 58, and have been using Paula's 2% BHA gel and 8% AHA gel faithfully for about 6 months (AHA at night, BHA during the day), and I suddenly realized how much smoother and clearer my skin has become. difficult
Be careful with this product if you have extremely dry and sensitive skin prone to eczema. The first time i used this product, my skin looked 5 years younger. Unfortunately, after that its caused severe drying and nre patches of eczema.

I no longer hate cosmetics!
After studying histology (and skin cells and structure in particular) I became disgusted with the whole cosmetics industry and the outrageous claims it made. I stopped using most skin care products out of distrust. Then my sister-in-law recommended your books... and I tried again. Using real science facts and peer-reviewed studies you showed me that some products do work, even if not for the reasons the manufacturers claim. Now I have taken another step and purchased your BHA, AHA, and hydrating treatment cream and feel I've had another breakthrough. I'm 44, and my skin hasn't been this clear and soft since I was in grade 6!! It's too late for you to help my teenage years, but I'm placing an order today for my teenage sons. (Thank you too for the sample sizes! The fact that you offer them at all is further proof to me that you stand behind your products and actually care if I get something that works for me.)

Cleansers and 8% AHA
I have tried both cleansers for normal/oily skin. My face had an immediate redness with both products. Also, the 8% AHA did very little for my oily skin. Yes, I also used the BHA. Now, i use a cleanser from Clinique and AHA from Alpha Hydrox (10%). Thanks to Paula for the recommendations.

Good product
Pretty awesome stuff, makes your skin smoother since it removes the rough outer layers. But the amount of stinging upon the first to second uses really varies, haha, my skin was in pain the first time I used it! But I cautiously tried again and now it's good. Maybe it makes the lower layers of skin stronger. But my skin is definitely more fine textured now, less rough.

Clear and Glowing!
I have super sensitive skin, that easily turns red an irritated. I can't use any amount of BHA (salicylic acid, so I am so surprised that I am able to use this AHA nightly with absolutely no redness or irritation whatsoever! Important part
I've only just start using this. This product seems to be a key component in the care of ones skin. My face is already smoother, and the second of importance is the anti-antioxidant. I bought these products because it is step by step, I didn't want to think about it any more. At first I thought it was too many products at one time, after using them I thought differently. Ingrediant List - Look!
Paula has always talked about what is "good" and what are "fillers" in other products. So my concern here are the amount of "PARABENS" in this product. The last few ingrediants that end with the word "paraben" have been controversial because they have been known to be cancer causing perservatives. I don't understand why this product has these ingrediants especially since all Paula talks about is good skin care. I didn't even read the ingrediants before I purchased the product on trust of what Paula preaches but then I took a second look and was shocked. I will be returning this product.

While we understand some there are some concerns surrounding these ingredients, the amounts used in skin care a cosmetic products does not prove harmful. Having said that, Paula does take this customer concern into consideration when reformulating or launching new products and uses alternative preservatives whenever possible. Great for sun damaged skin
Luckily, I don't have a lot of wrinkles. Before using this product, my skin looked dull and lifeless due to decades of sun exposure. Using this as part of my nightly routine took years off my skin and restored a great deal of lost vitality. Of course, now I've learned to use sun screen.

Nice product
I have always stayed away from AHA's because they burned my sensitive, fair skin like the devil (I hadn't tried yours, though). Plus, as a teen and in my early-to-mid twenties, exfolation wasn't really an issue. Now, in my late twenties and facing very early menopause, I really needed something. Scrubs weren't helping me and they were actually irritating me more. So I bought seven sample packets of this, deciding to try it for a week (just to make sure it didn't break me out or really irritate me badly). It stings slightly the first couple days, but just a tad, and it really has lessened the flaky skin I had. Also, I have a youthful, radiant glow that I haven't possessed since I was a very little girl. Within two days, my skin looked so good I no longer needed to wear makeup (as I had done since I was ten...)Thank you!

I use it on my body
This is a great product to use not only on your face, but on your legs, arms, etc. I spreads easily so a little goes a very long way, dries up nicely so no greasy feel. I use this instead of the 10% body lotion because that one has a terrible smell and this no smell once it's dry.

This REALLY Works!

Just a little goes a long way
I like this product; though I've used it for about a month. However, the recommended amount (dime-size) would cover my face several times! I use about 1/2 the recommended amount.

Stings like crazy, but well worth it
This product makes my ultra sensitive skin sting like crazy on initial application, but if waited out and a moisturiser applied over the top subsides eventually. The clear, flake free skin you wake up with the next morning makes five minutes of uncomfortable well worth it in the end though.

Shocked at the results
As a 22 y.o. male with blemish prone skin, I always wondered if it was possible to have super smooth and soft skin that females have. Amazing Results!!
I never thought I would need or understood exfoliation until I started using Paulas products. Within a week of using her complete skin recovery & AHA 8% acid my skin is glowing. I don't require foundation anymore and my skin feels soft the entire day especially with the cold Minnesota winters.
