GLOWING SUNSCREEN
I love, love this sunscreen. It leaves my dry, over-60 skin glowing and dewy. The "sheen" makes my skin look amazing, with or without makeup! Of course, I live in a dry climate and have older skin. This product is formulated for dry to very dry skin is ideal for me.

I love this!
I've been trying for weeks to find a sunscreen that doesn't irritate and dry out my face. It's crazy how many daytime moisturizers have left my cheeks looking red and cracked by lunchtime. I was so relieved when I started using this last week. It's so moisturizing and doesn't irritate my skin at all! Also, compared to other sunscreens, I think this has a very mild odor.

Quite nice
I quite like this sunscreen - I saw in other reviews that people thought it had a slight smell, but to me it doesn't smell like anything, which is part of why I like it. It's very moisturizing, and my only beef with it is that it does leave (on me at least) a bit of an oily sheen after it's been rubbed in. Unlike other sunscreens I've had that do that, though, it seems to absorb in after a bit and doesn't stay around all day. I have pretty sensitive skin, and while redness/irritation usually only shows up on my face, I've had some sunscreens make me feel itchy or irritated, and this one avoids that completely. I wore this the other day and showered a second time that night after going to the gym, and my skin still felt moisturized, rather than drier as usual, after getting out of the shower. The beneficial ingredients in this, the nice moisturizing feel, the fact that it's fragrance free, and the lack of strong scent put this in my top sunscreens - I think I will try the extra care non-greasy spf 45 one after this, just to compare and see if that one avoids the minor oily sheen this one has on me.

I Love This Stuff, Odor and All
Thank heavens for that slight smell!!! After years of wasting money on products with harmful, irritating, or allergenic scents, I LOVE that these wonderful products are fragrance free!!! I am very prone to dark skin spots and wear sunscreen every day without fail--in moisturizer and foundation. This product is great for the days when you loll at home reading by a sunny window, or take a sick day, or you just want to walk outside without wearing makeup. Good stuff!

I cannot get over the smell.
Living in Arizona, I need a high SPF sunscreen and prefer those with titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. I've tried this sunscreen on several occasions and just cannot get used to the smell. Even after a few hours of application, I still reek! Even more importantly, don't get this near your eyes or use on sensitive skin as it burns. My skin is geting more sensitive with age, but I can still use most sunscreens without irritation. This one seems to be a bit more irritating than others. It does, however, live up to its claims regarding water resistance. Customer Care Response: Thank you for your review. Perfect
I use this every day, rain or shine on every inch of exposed skin from the neck down. It's too emollient for my face, but I absolutely love it for my body. I use the Resist Hand Cream on my face, and this on my hands, and I'm set. It feels like a luxurious body moisturizer. I don't think it will be so awesome on a hot sweaty day at the beach, but for every day use this is HG. I keep one in my bathroom cabinet and one in my car to redo my hands.

Great for very dry skin!
I ordered this product not only for the high SPF protection (I live in Florida) but also because it is formulated for dry skin. I was a little worried that it might be overly heavy in a humid climate but I'm pleasantly surprised that it's not. It makes me feel hydrated during the day with no greasy feel. It goes on white when I first apply, but after a little rubbing in the whiteness disappears and I'm left with beautiful dewy skin. I highly recommend this for people with very dry skin. Also, if you are using this as your face moisturizer, you can't beat the price and the amount of product you get! Bargain!!
One more thing, make sure you don't apply too close to your eyes. The first time I applied I got a little in my eye and felt a burning sensation and had to wash it off. But the next time I applied I made sure to stay away from getting too close to my eye and I was fine. I love this stuff!

Would not buy this again
I live in Florida and have to use sun screen every day. This sun screen leaves my face shiny and greasy. It lays on top of my skin. It may work as a sun screen but it does not look good on my face.

Great Sunscreen
Due to a medical condition I have very sensitive dry skin that cannot be exposed to the sun. This sunscreen has not caused any irritaion. It is very emoillent but does absorb nicely. I do not have any issues with white residue that I have had with other brands.

Best Hydrating Cream Ever
I have used tons of moisurizing creams from every brand on the market. This is the best cream for dehydrated or dry skin. I use it every day. You should also make it without the sunscreen as a night cream. It is the best of all your products.

Great Hydrator
This sunscreen works beautifully for me except when it's extremely hot. Please continue making this sunscreen, as is, but also consider using this cream, minus the sunscreen ingredients, as a hand/body cream for those of us with extremely dry skin. This works great on my hands which have itermittant excema. Thank you.

Summer necessity!
This stuff is the best! I use it every time I'm going to be spending more than 5 minutes outside in the sun. My kids also use it on their faces - it's better than the banana boat spray stuff that I use on their bodies.

Excellent body cream
This is my favourite body cream with SPF. It is moisturizing without being too greasy. I've been using it every day during the summer and have not had to use an additional body moisturizer with it. It's far easier to spread than some of the more expensive ones I have tried.

Love the glow
I love this product and do not find it greasy at all. It gives a healthful glow to my face that I've never gotten from any other product. Never thought it possible for my face to look so vibrant. I give this product a big whooping cheer!

Wouldn't be without it!
Have been using this sunscreen daily for years! Have tried others, but nothing else makes my face look as good or works as well with my makeup. I like the dewy effect it provides under foundation! I think it makes my skin look fresher and better than a matte effect would. During cold winters it keeps my face looking and feeling soft. In summer heat & humidity, I may use powder over my foundation. The extra moisture from this sunscreen keeps my face from looking taut and dry from the powder. I love this product!

Best for Moisture and Sunscreen
I waited to write this until I was almost finished with the tube. First let me say that I did some research on these type of product and found a book (Don't Go To The Make-up Counter with out me) that was very helpful and this brand was advised for many reasons. I choose it due to living in not just a dry area but also at 7200' where spf is essential. I have used it everyday for the past almost 6 monthes and it does go on with a little shine at first, if you give it a few minutes it will absorbe in with no residue. I am 100% satisfied with this and will continue to order it.

Keep worrying you'll discontinue it
I still love this stuff. I keep worrying you're going to discontinue it. Please try not to! Not sure if it's your best-seller, but it's great stuff for my skin. The pure mineral is too white on me and doesn't have as nice of a finish.

very nice stuff
Very nice stuff! It's sort of reminds me of mineral moisturizer (similar feel but a lot better consistency, doesn't go on milky); it's easy to work it. It doesn't sting my neck and under my eyes when I use it(unlike spf45 sunscreen that I also love cause it goes on very nicely). Here's why I gave it a 4: 1) if you don't work it in well enough it'll flake. 2)Also, I have to blot my face with a napkin after it's been on f/couple of minutes so it becomes less shiny. It does moisturize very nicely especially when you go through those stages of very very dry and flaky skin.

I absolutely love this product. I use it faithfully every day on my neck. I also use it often on my face, alternating between the Cellular Defense Daily Moisturizer, which is another awesome product. This lotion is wonderful and very hydrating. Please never discontinue!!

The more I use this stuff, the more I love it. It is not irritating, and I really love the fact that it has the ultra-broad-spectrum protection of the mineral blocks combined with chemical sunscreens, without the white haze I get from pure mineral sunscreens.

My Only Sunscreen
This has been a face favorite for years--I rub it in well and haven't had problems with whiteness (the main thing is to make sure not to use too much at once). I love the absence of a scent, especially when I use it on the rest of my body. I certainly hope this always remains part of the cosmetics line, as it has for so long already!

I ordered this product after my dermatologist insisted on an SPF of 30. This is perfect as a moisturizer with or without foundation.I have very dry skin and this is not greasy at all. Love it!!!!!!!

Fantastic all-day moisture
I have very dry skin. Moisturizer alone doesn't cut it for me, especially in winter. This product, over my moisturizer & under my makeup is PERFECT. SPF is a bonus! I do NOT have any issue with whiteness - it goes on white but that disappears almost instantly.

Love the products
At first I didn't think I liked this product. I was using too much & it seemed to oily..I tried using less & rubbing it in.. It is wonderful..My skin is protected & hydrated. I previously was getting my skin care & QVC. I won't be doing that anymore. From now on I will just use Paula' line.. I like the fact that She's done the research for me and I don't have to worry with her product line. I was using Philosophy which contains Lavender. I was not aware that Lavender caused the breakdown of collogen..Thanks Paula.

Amazing Product
I'm not sure why people think this product is not worth using. Yes, at first I hated it as well. It didn't absorb like her other moisturizers. After using for a while I noticed how amazing it made my skin look. The glow it provided was better than any of her other lotions; as well as the SPF protection. I now love this product will continue to use it. Thanks Paula.

sometimes burns
It provides nice sun protection...I noticed that ones I put it on...after maybe half an hour face tone kind of evens out, redness disappears which is very nice to see. Sometimes though it does burn especially around eyes and cheekbones but for some reason it doesn't happen every single time. I stopped applying it to my eyelids cause it burns real bad there...I don't know if we're supposed to put anything at all on our lids :) But overall like this sunscreen.

i love this stuff--i use it like a light foundation on my skin in the summer. the white cast evens out my skin tone and my skin actually looks lush instead of dry and bland.

Very Happy with this product
I will definetly give it a 5 star, This product works, as a sunscreen and as a moisturizer. It does burn my eyes so I have to be careful around the eye area, but its worth using. If you look for a great sunscreen this really works, plus moisturizes your skin. I can deal with the shiny look that it leaves considering that does what is suppose to do in protecting my skin.

Need this product!
Thank you, Paula, for making this wonderful SPF30 sunscreen for the body with NO avobenzone, a chemical which discolors our clothes when I wash them in well water (a key piece of information which I thankfully learned from you). It's increasingly difficult these days to find a non-chemical UVA/UVB sunscreen in the stores. Please don't stop making this product! My four kids and I thank you for saving our skin AND our clothes. :-)

Works for me
I have normal skin without excessive dryness or oiliness. This product works well with my skin type. The effect when applied is a little shiny, but I actually don't mind that. When I apply mineral makeup over it, it keeps it from looking cakey and adds a nice dewy/luminous effect. It looks nice with tinted moisturizer over it, too. It does nothing to aggravate my rosacea.

Too Heavy For Daily Wear
This one might be great for some skin, but for me it did feel pretty heavy and occlusive. I've been using Elta MD's UV Daily SPF 40 (which doesn't have a waxy, mask-like feeling at all). I was hoping to switch to Paula's (since she always has a great cocktail of anti-oxidants etc. in her products), but I guess I'll have to stick with the Elta MD for now. To be fair though, the Elta MD is not water-resistant like Paula's, which is probably why the former has a more breathable texture. However, I need a high spf for daily wear (I get blotchy melasma otherwise), so I need something more wearable. I'm personally willing to purchase two high spf products: a breathable one for daily wear, and a water-resistant one for exercise and beach.

Beautifully protected and nourished
Dear and wonderful Paula,
I have used your Extra Care Moisturizing Sunscreen spf 30+ with Antioxidants for six months now, and I really love it. Please do not ever discontinue this product! It leaves my dry/combination skin velvety soft and deeply nourished; and after letting it soak in for about twenty minutes, my foundation goes on flawlessly. I may have to blot away a little shine first, but that's no problem. On the body it's- if possible- even better, providing long lasting moisture with no white cast whatsoever. Please make a purse-size too!

Took 5 Years Off My Skin!
For a girl with dry, uneven skin tone due to rosacea, the Extra Care Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF 30+ is the best thing ever! Not my taste
I love the majority of Paula's products, however I can't seem to find a sun product that meets my needs. This product I found to be overly shiny and greasy- I had hoped it would lessen a bit as the day went on and it absorbed, but it didn't. Dissapointing, but the rest of the product line more than makes up for this product in my opinion.

Paula, love all your other products, but this one is way too greasy even for dry skin, and makes my eyes cry - had to wash it off 1/2 hour later. Can we have a less greasy, more matte, moisturizing, SPF30 sunscreen???

Would love to have it in purse size
I wish PC have a purse-size version of this wonderful sunscreen, something like the size of Skin Recovery Moisturiser. Other than the convenience of reapplying anytime, especially after washing hands, it would be great to bring it onboard airplane. Its moisturising texture is especially comfortable for the dry inflight atmosphere. Moreover, I would love to have a sunscreen on hand to apply on my face during those night-to-morning flights. The higher alttitude means the sun rays are much more intense, the more we need to apply sunscreen.

Shiney and greasy, surely you jest. This new mositurizer is perfect in every way and spf 30.WOW! My skin is a little on the dry side and this makes my face look great. 15 years ago,I bought Estee lauder face cream and at that time I was paying $50.00 a jar. Best Body Sunscreen Ever!
I use this daily on my body. After it is absorbed, my skin remains very slightly moist to the touch, and with a very slight sheen that looks young and healthy. It feels light. Not at all heavy or tacky. ADDED BONUS: It is highly transfer-resistant. It leaves less residue on my black yoga mat than any other sunscreen with minerals that I have ever used!

Try This When Using on Your Face
The key to using this marvelous sunscreen on my face is as follows: apply liberally, let it absorb for 30 minutes, blot with tissue and then if you wish, dust lightly with powder. The result on my normal to slightly dry skin is beautiful. Plus, it feels so light: as if I have nothing on. (I'm saving a 5-star rating for an all mineral SPF 30 formula that looks and feels this good.)
