I am so in love with the Moisture Boost Hydrating Treatment Cream. I have been using Paula's products for about 6 months. My skin has never had the glow it has now. I am 60 and I also have my mom using her products. Before her skin was dry and nothing was helping. Now she has the glow too! She's so thrilled.
I use her cleansers, toners, bha, aha, cream concealer, etc, etc, etc. Little by little I'm trying everything and am converting every type of product I use to Paula's Choice.
I'm hooked on Paula and what's more - I completely trust her! She's a winner!

Wonderful!!
I absolutely love this moisturizer for night time. I originally tried the Resist Barrier Moisturizer w/ Retinol, but it it wasn't giving me the level of moisture I wanted. My skin is apparently even drier than I realized. When I tried the Moisture Boost I fell inlove. It leaves my skin wonderfully hydrated and silky smooth. Best of all, it leaves no greasy residue feeling. Perfect for those struggling with dry skin! Thank you Paula!!

Moisture boost...gentle but
Recently purchased to combat dry winter skin. This product is rather thick and hard to spread,so you need more. It is good for sensitive skin. I was looking for something to use with my 1% Retinol product. Gentle formula but just another basic moisturizer. Customer Care Response: Thank you for your review. Caused some breakouts
I trialed this twice. Stopped using it when the red spots did not go away. Went back to my Vanicream and the spots disappeared. Did this trial again and same results. I thought it was too thin around the eyes-when I woke up, the skin around my eyes was tight. My skin can be ultra sensitive so on to something else. Customer Care Response: Thank you for your review. Love the feel!
I'm now on my 4th tube of Moisture Boost Cream. I love the way my skin feels! Even though I am in my 60's I have dry skin only in the winter, so this works well. In the summer I simply apply less cream. I use the cream under my eyes and no longer purchase a cream specifically for under eyes. Paula's products are the best I've found.

I have dry sensitive skin. After years of using products that didn't help my skin (including Cetaphil - the bar soap, which I've since learned is more drying than the lotion), I have finally found relief with Paula's products. I get compliments on my skin all the time since I've been using them. my only complaint---sorry Paula because I do LOVE your products and my skin would be lost without them---is that the prices have been steadily creeping up over time while the packaging feels slighter. I stop myself from ordering more products each time I place an order because it just feels too steep. Also, I really miss the free samples of ANY product, not just the select few at checkout. I have tried every one of Paula's moisturizers and think they are all pretty terrific. But the Moisture Boost Hydrating Treatment Cream is the perfect combination of ingredients for me to use this most often. It hydrates without being too heavy or greasy. It contains vitamin C and niacinamide, which my skin LOVES. And this formula is the most elegant for me; it leaves a glowy, dewy finish on my face that makes my skin look radiant. I've been a fan of Paula's products since 2003 and love how she keeps adding newer, state of the art products to her line. But I am still most fond of the simplest products - Moisture Boost Cleanser, Skin Balancing Toner, BHA's and this moisturizer! Thank you, Paula, for keeping my skin so healthy and clear!

Didn't work for me
I bought this because my skin was becoming dry. I really did want this product to work, as it sounded great (and as the majority of reviews are glowing)! But, unfortunately it just didn't work for me. When I first put it on, it felt like it there was a thick layer of cream on my face. It didn't really seem to sink in for a long time. Also, once it was clear that it was a bit too thick for my face, I put it on my body, but it still was too thick. However, initial application aside, I kept applying it because it has great reviews and because it had great ingredients. Also, I needed something to help combat my dryness. At first, it seemed to help my dryness, but after a few uses, I developed milia around the nose and eye area, which were really unattractive!!! At first I thought they were pimples, but after doing some reading, I found out they were milia and that they are hard to treat (they need to be physically removed). I've tried BHA, but it didn't really work. Unfortunately, this product is definitely a miss for me. Customer Care Response: Thank you for taking time to review this product. I would love to give this cream more than 5 stars. My dry dehydrated sensitve skin was in search of the right product to treat all three problems. And this is the ONLY that hydrates, moisturizes and doesn't itch my face. I am in love with this cream, goes great under makeup. This is my all time day and night cream. Please never change this or add spf to it. I have tried numerous other brands. Hydrating creams that don't hydrate enough, moisturizes that don't moisturize enough and products that are so uncomfortable on my sensitive skin. I am hooked and anyone with a skin like me who wants a great product without spending a lot of money (like i did on estee lauder cream which didn't work) should try this cream.

Great eye contour cream!
This cream has a lovely lightweight consistency that you wouldn't expect in a product aimed at dry skin. I use it morning and night on my undereye area and it has made a huge difference in its texture and appeareance. My concealer goes on smoothly and never cakes! Since I don't use it on the rest of my face a tube of this lasts forever!

I Love This Moisturizer!
I bought this after trying the Moisture Recovery. It felt a little heavy on my face for summer but I love this Moisture Boost! I have been a long tome sufferer with rosacea and sometimes eczema and this took care of all my problems! No irritations or breakouts and my skin feels soft and smooth! I love the fact that I don't have to use a seperate eye cream! I now use the toner too and just bought the acne treatment kit for my grandaughter. It would be nice if you made a bigger tube but then it would cost more!! Thank you for the WONDERFUL products!!!

One of Paula's Best Products
I have been using Paula's products on and off for years. I have tried just about everything in her line, and other lines of skin care BUT believe me, This is the best on the market. I always keep coming back for more. Nothing else will hydrate your skin as well with out causing any irratation or breakouts , or feeling greasy. This cream is perfection! Moisture Boost Hydrating Treatment Cream
I use this as an eye cream, morning and night. While I have never truly needed a moisturiser(oily, acne-prone skin), this has been the most wonderful eye cream for me, without causing milia around the eyes or any irritation, which I had experienced with other skincare line's "eye cream". I have also noticed, after four months use, that little lines around and directly under my eyes are not truly visible anymore.

Great Product!!
I have been using this moisturizer for about 6 weeks and it has been great for my skin! I have dry acne prone skin, and the more dry it gets, the more I tend to breakout. Anyway, I am 26 years old and this moisterizer has really helped my dry dehyrated skin..and no breakouts! The reason I gave it a 4 is because I don't think it would be moisterizing enough for winter, but I'm sure the skin recovery would be PERFECT for me. Can't wait to try that! The best!
This is by far the best moisturizer I have ever used. I am a long time Paula's Choice customer with dry skin that only gotten drier since giving birth to my first child 5 months ago. I also get an occasional blemish here and there. This cream leaves my skin feeling hydrated and smooth, but not greasy and doesn't make me break out. My only complaint is that the small tube does not last me very long and I end up reordering this far more frequently than the rest of my skincare regimen. I would gladly pay more for a larger size! (Or maybe a two pack at a slight discount.) Thank you for helping keep my skin beautiful!

The Best!
This was my first ever purchase from Paula's Choice and I don't regret it one bit. I use prescription retinol and my skin has a tendancy to get dry and flaky and just irritated. I ordered this cream on a whim and since I first put it on my skin has transformed into smooth, silky, glowy skin - not the flaky mess it was just 24 hours before. It doesn't break me out and it sinks in easily, giving me the perfect amount of moisture for my skin. I will buy this one again and again - especially now that the Chicago winters are coming up. Great during the winter!
I wear this under my makeup during the winter months. I have dry/blemish prone skin. It does make me break out a little more than the mattifying moisturizer but it is perfect (more mosturizing this the other) in the winter.

The best stuff
When I turned 40 last year I decided I needed to take better care of my fair skin. After trying a few drug store products I was very unhappy and overwhelmed at all the choices and "claims." My neighbor suggested Paula's Choice and I have been hooked since. I was a diehard fan of Lubriderm but this product is wonderful. So moisturizing! I use it every other night Retin-A. Just Faaabulous
I've recently realized my skin has changed from it's oily, acne prone nature into a drier version. Especially around the eyes. So I decided to try this cream. I had ordered the Hydralight Moisture Infusing Lotion in the past, but every time I used it I could expect a breakout like clockwork and it didn't really take care of my drier areas. Not to mention it always smelled like vinegar. Now THIS cream... it was a little daunting at first because of its much thicker consistency, but I tried it once and knew it was for me. Love it, but it contains GLUTEN!
I love this product and all of the Moisture Boost products for my dry, yet acne-prone skin. Unfortunately, I have Celiac Disease and while, I can't absorb gluten (under the ingredient Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein), applying the moisturizer puts me at risk for ingesting it either from my hands, or through contact during the day with my face. Even a kiss on the cheek, followed by a kiss on he lips could transfer gluten. I want to keep using this product, but must stop due to this. Many of the other moisturizers do not contain Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein and it is my hope Paula could try to make as many of her products Gluten Free as possible and advertise them as so. Otherwise, it is a wonderful moisterizer!

Not good for around the eyes
This cream is not good around the eyes. It melts into your eyes and makes them water a bit and eventually interferes with your vision.

Improvising what works best for my skin
I use the entire Balancing Skin Care line, and I LOVE the Skin Moisturizing Moisture Gel, but I occasionally needed a little more moisture. I purchased some of the Moisture Boost Hydrating Cream, but found it didn't have much 'slip' to it and was quite thick on my skin. So in the last couple of days I've mixed the two....equal amounts of the Moisturizing Gel and the Hydrating Cream...and it was PERFECT!!!! I had been thinking of writing and asking Paula to consider a 'richer' or more moisturizing formula for the Balancing Line, in ADDITION to the Moisturizing Gel, but I believe I've just found the solution. (PLEASE, PLEASE don't ever change the Moisturizing Gel!!!)I wanted to share this idea in the event anyone else might want to try!

Better than high end moisturizers
I've used this on and off and have decided that I will stop experimenting. I paid $$$ for high end creams and other ones that profess to moisturize, but my skin never feels as dewy and plumped as it is after using this one. I'm 56 with dry, crepey skin and this is the ONLY moisturizer that makes it look plumped and lovely. It's a keeper, I hope the formula never changes.

Amazing, but lack of antioxidants?
Dissapointed in lack of antioxidants as Paula has "bagged" out other moisturizers for the same thing but read the ingrediants list?!?! Go figure. Anyway, product is silky smooth and great for dry but not very dry skin :D

Finally...
I normally have combination, oily skin. So for a long time I used PC balance moisture. It is also great! However, recently I developed excema on my face, and NOTHING worked. Per the recommendation to use this product for excema treatment, I did. After regular use, I can say that it REALLY worked! My skin is clear again, the nice thing is that I am not too oily in other parts of my face as a result. Thank you soooo much for such a great product that really lives up to your recommendation. =)

Best moisturizer ever!
Unlike other moisturizeres on the market, I never break out with any of Paula's stuff, and as for the so-called smell, well, I too have an acute sense of smell and I did not notice any smell from this. It works wonderfully!

Extra moisture where I need it
I tend to have very oily skin that usually only needs light moisturizing here and there, but during the winter months I get dry, flake-y patches just under my eyes that need a richer moisturizer, and this takes care of the problem without causing breakouts. My only complaint about this product is that it seems to separate over time. When I squeeze some onto my finger, sometimes a dribble of oil comes out with it. This usually starts happening when the tube is still about half full. Since I only need a tiny amount of it with each use, a tube lasts me a very long time, so maybe I'm keeping it for too long, but I hate to throw it out when it's still half full. Is it still effective after it starts to separate?

Really great moisturizer
I recently converted to the moisture boost hydrating cream from the gel moisturizer because as I've aged my skin has gotten drier. I use the Resist moisturizer in the morning under makeup because this moisturizer is slightly too heavy for my oily t-zone but perfect at night when I need a rich moisturizer. This is really great for my skin!

Close to perfect.
I give this product 4 stars because of top notch ingredients, non-irritating, good price and reasonable efficacy. However, I feel it could be improved by 2 changes: replace 2/3 (or all) of the jojoba oil with capric/caprylic triglyceride/coconut oil, and remove the beeswax altogether. I don't like the thin film these two ingredients leave on the skin, and what's more, I suspect they present barriers to maximizing skin absorption of the nutrients. Call it "Moisture Boost Hydrating Treatment Lotion", or something--it will be less thick, but I think it would be even more effective at hydrating the skin, and result in a more elegant feel. My favourite skin cream has almost the same ingredients as this product, but with those two features (capric/caprylic triglyceride and no beeswax), and it feels fabulous, but it's not as enriched with nutrients as Paula's.

Best Moisturizing Cream
I really love PC Moisture Boost Hydrating Treatment Cream. I have very dry skin that is acne prone. I couldn't find a product that would absorb into my skin and keep it moist without causing a breakout with acne. This really does the trick! It is a wonderful product! My skin feels supple and hydrated without feeling greasy. It also doesn't irritate my skin or make my acne worse. Way to go Paula!

Did the formula change?
Loved it, but it doesn't seem like the same formula anymore. It seems thinner. I liked this one for summer and the skin recovery for winter. I guess I'll stick to skin recovery now.

Awesome and Amazing
Had an eczema break-out while out of town without my meds, I used this moisterizer and it helped keep my skin soft where it would normally be flaky and dry. the best of the bunch
I have tried just about every Paula's Choice moisturizing product, and this is definitely the winner. Skin Recovery Moisturizer had a funky aroma, HydraLight was a little too light to deal with the flaking that even those with oily skin get during breakouts, and it doesn't contain silica mattifying ingredients that make some (like me) break out! This is definitely the winner in my book!

I think the texture of this product is great - it feels nice going on. Unfortunately, that's about it. It did not help the dry skin areas of my face at all - I had more flaking than ever. I have gone back to my old moisturizer and the flaking is gone. (Strange how my old moisturizer is rated sad face in Paula's book, but it actually works..hmm...) I will be returning this product.

Lasting Moisture
I have very dry skin under my eyes. As a flight attendant the moisture gets sucked right out of my skin and this is the best moisturizer I've tried in 14 years flying that keeps my undereye area hydrated. It's also the only one where I don't wake up in the morning with tight dry eyes. Bravo!

I primarily use this moisturizer after getting laser treatments on my face and chest for brown spots and rosacea. This product is wonderful for apres treatment, even after brow waxing. It is light, goes on easily, and does not irritate my sensitive skin. It does not cause breakouts or black heads. It is great for hands and cuticles, too. Love it!

I've been using Hydrating Treatment Cream for just two weeks, but that's long enough for me to realize that this product is a keeper. I'm 57 years old, and have normal-to-dry skin that gets shiny in the t-zone, so it's hard to find a moisturizer that works on all areas. This one is so light and silky going on, and my face stays moist, but not greasy, all the time. I use it day and night, and I love the way it moisturizes the skin around my eyes. A 4-star product!

I have been using PC products for many years now and I love them. Recently, they've helped me out in a new way. Last week my family and I went on a vacation to a nearby lake. The first day we were there, my chest got fried, I mean grossly burned. Yes, I was wearing sun block (SPF 55). My niece's face was really burned too. I have dry skin. Which Paula's Choice moisturizer should I use?
All our moisturizers address the needs of dry skin and make it feel soft and smooth. Resist Barrier Repair Moisturizer is our lightest cream, while Moisture Boost Hydrating Treatment Cream is richer since it contains more oil. Skin Recovery Moisturizer is our most "protective" moisturizer. The best way to determine which one to use is to sample them and see which texture you prefer.
