Should Say for All Skin Types
I was using the SPF15 for oily/combo skin but wanted more protection. This product went on sale so I bought it. WOW! It is not heavy, not greasey, not shiney even in my T-zone. Another great Paula product.

Decent, but leaves my face feeling tight?
I've been using this for about a week - I had been using Cerave AM face lotion before this, and I do like this moisturizer better as it leaves my face much less red. I have sensitive combo skin, and it seems to be very difficult to find a moisturizer that is both SPF30+ (which I want because I have very fair skin) and that doesn't make my face red. I've read the advice to try mineral sunscreens for sensitive skin but it's nigh impossible to find a moisturizer with mineral sunscreens that is at least SPF30. This moisturizer is pretty good - it's nice and creamy going on and I love that it has antioxidants in it, and that it's SPF 30; but it still makes my face slightly red, and it also seems to almost mattify/become tight after about 30 mins or so after I put it on, which seems odd to me for a moisturizer designed for dry skin. Overall, this is a step up from my last moisturizer and still the best one I've tried to date, but I will be continuing the search for my AM moisturizer soulmate. Don't care for the scent.
This moisturizer is probably ok, but I can't really say because I don't use it much because of the strong SPF smell. It smells more like I am getting ready to spend a day at the beach than go to work. I use my PC non-SPF moisture boost treatment cream instead and just wear a foundation with SPF over it. Wonderful!
I love this daytime moisturizer and use it year round. My skin is normal to dry. It dries down to a nice matte finish leaving my skin comfortable and protected. I use a light powder foundation over top and my skin looks flawless. This also doesn't irritate my skin like some other chemical sunscreens. The antioxidants are an added extra bonus!

Really seeing a difference!
I've been using your products for awhile now and can say my skin is wayyy better off for it. I used to use all the good peppermint and menthol stuff that men's skin care has but since switching to the 1%bha and superantioxidant serum it's amazing! One thing I noticed is that I've been using the moisture boost spf30 and I get a tight, dry feeling after applying that lasts all day..?? Anyone else have this issue? Great for Combo Skin Too!
I ordered this after reading other reviews that it also is good for combo skin (I have normal/slightly oily t-zone combo skin). I love the texture and the fact that it is SPF 30! It is shiny on my skin at first but when it soaks in, I set it with some powder and I am good to go. Awesome product, thank you!!

Disappointed
I was very disappointed with this product. It actually made my skin dry in areas, and I'm surprised because I have combination skin. Great, even for somewhat oily skin!
I love this product! I have somewhat oily skin and am prone to breakouts so at first I was a little hesitant to order this product. However, it keeps my skin moist, protects from the sun, and no pimples in sight!

Causes breakouts
I really love the texture of this sunscreen, but alas, it makes my skin break out. Maybe I should have ordered the Resist sunscreen instead. Not as good as the hand cream sunscreen
I ordered two of these moisturizers (for 2 family members with sensitive skin) and a couple of weeks later, I ordered the hand cream for myself (as I realized it could be used on the face). My mom finds this moisturizer good, but she doesn't like the way it goes on and how it feels on her skin. My sibling has ultra sensitive skin (like me) and found that this caused breakouts. I feel guilty now because I am super happy with my hand cream SPF 30 but cannot say anything to either one until they have used up their moisturizers and I am ready to persuade them to try another PC product, one that is much better. Didn't work for me but awesome customer service
I had submitted a negative review of this product about a week ago - it just didn't work for me. It was not creamy enough and I hated the smell. A few days later, a package arrived from Paula's Choice with a sample of similar products from her other collections and a notice of a refund (I returned the products that I purchased). VERY impressive customer service - they do stand by their products! I am trying the others and am sure that one will work out.

Best of both worlds
I love this moisturizer for the winter months for my face. I have oily skin but doesn't make it more oily. Love too that it has a high SPF. I was wondering if I could use this under & around the eyes.

Love the Cleanser & Moisturizer, Not the Sunscreen
Having used the Moisture boost face cleanser and hydrating treatment cream for years for my Normal skin type, with fantastic results I stuck to my tried and true Essential non-greasy sunscreen spf 15 for my face. Have always had fantastic results with glowing skin. I decided to try the MB daily restoring complex with spf 30 and it proved to be disastrous. The texture was so thick and paste like when I applied it to my face and left me with such a matte finish that it looked like it would flake off. After trying it again the next day it was even worse but my skin was actually starting to flake from dryness. The irony of switching from something designed for combination/oily skin to one geared for normal to dry and I'm left with dry flakey skin. Sad to say but I've been using Paula's Choice products since 2003 and never received a bad product until this one. I'm sticking to Essential Non-Greasy sunscreen and Moisture Boost cleanser and moisturizer. I do exfoliate my face with the AHA Gel and BHA Lotion, both which are wonderful. Solid daytime moisturizer
No breakouts with this. I use it around my eyes with no irritation. Smells like sunscreen but that's to be expected.

Soothing
I was shocked when I read Paula's review of the Origins brand. I had been using A Perfect World White Tea SPF 25, and always thought it was fine. But then I read about how irritating this brand can be, and I never realized it fully until I started using Paula's SPF instead. Wow, it feels so good on my skin and just totally calms it down. I have very fair, sensitive skin, but my cheeks are always a little flush and red. With this cream my skin just seems to glow, and it doesn't sting or feel irritated at all. I really do think I have found the last SPF face cream I will ever need to buy!!!!

Sunblock that feels like a cream...
So far, this is the only facial sunblock I have been pleased to use regularly. I have sensitive, combination skin and living in L.A. requires a daily use of sunscreen for sure. Most other brands either slick up my face (and make-up slides off, grrr) or take forever to apply - white density, everywhere (in the eyebrows, under the nails, grrr). This one goes on easily, leaves no sticky pale finish, and performs fine under make-up. Great product (purr).

Saved my skin...
I can't believe how good this moisturizer is. Sometimes, as with any line, I will order products from Paula's Choice that aren't a good fit for my skin but that is so not the case here. I have an auto-immune disorder that causes my skin to be REALLY dry and to not react well to most moisturizers but, after a few days with this product, my skin is softer, smoother and the dry baggy bits under my eyes are gone - I look almost 10 years younger. I would echo the other comment that the products are getting a little on the pricey side - this is a tiny package and you do have to use a fair amount to get from the decolletage all the way up to the hair line - so i will be being more careful what I buy here, rather than being willing to take a chance...but THIS product is amazing and will continue to be a priority for me. thanks!!

Pleasantly surprised
I ordered this by mistake. I meant to get the mattifying skin balancing cream(my skin is of combination type) So, when I got it I thought, I'd just use it on my hands. But I tried it on my face a few times and it's great . It doesn't clog my pores (despite a rich texture) , it has a surprisingly non-shiny finish and works so nicely under make-up.

This sunscreen works great for my skin, especially now that it's winter. It is a rather slim tube, but it lasts me a surprisingly long time b/c I save it for use only on my face/neck and protect my hands with the spray-on sunscreen.

Better for oily skin types
I didn't want to give this moisturizer a bad rating because it is actually really nice. HOWEVER, I bought this because it says it is good for normal to dry skin, not so (at least not for me)! Even on my oily areas I have to add several layers and my skin still feels a little parched. So if you are SUPER oily I think you will love this one. amazing soft non oily finish
I have blemish prone skin but i think this formula feels better than the skin balancing day moisturiser which always felt tacky to me. the product initially feels like all sunscreens do (a bit greasy and tacky) but after 15 minutes it fully absorbs and feels very smooth on my skin.

Almost perfect
I am 29 years old with normal to dry skin and I have always had a hard time finding a sunscreen that I could apply daily. Mineral sunscreens tend to break me out, and although I am fair skinned, the white cast they leave make me look ghostly. I had been waiting a long time for Paula to introduce a sunscreen appropriate for my skin type, and for the most part, this one fits the bill! The finish this leaves on skin is absolutely beautiful and I have not had any problems with breakouts. However, it is not moisturizing enough for my dry skin on its own. I use a small amount of Paula's Hydrating Treatment Cream underneath this and it works wonderfully. I was afraid that layering the two products would feel too heavy on my skin, but it has worked well. Great job Paula and team!

I have been shopping around for an excellent moisturizer and this is just perfect! It does not leave my skin greasy at all, and will be definitely ordering more. The fact that it contains sunscreen is a huge bonus for me. I have been taught through reading many of Paula's books, that the most important thing you can do for you face is apply sunscreen daily. Great SPF!
I have combination slightly dry skin but can't always use titanium dioxide products. This moisturizer is so light but hydrating not mattifying. I dust my powder foundation over this and it lasts. Great product and no octinoxate! This doesn't sting.

Non-greasy yet hydrating, primes my face perfectly for foundation afterwards, this is the perfect sunscreen. Even with combo/oily skin, it doesn't make me oily or shiny or break out.

This applies like a thin layer of paste. it seems to be more for normal skin than dry. The texture was not light at all, and it felt like I was wearing another layer on my skin. My Quest Is Over!
My skin care routine is now finally complete! Like so many others, I've never found a sunscreen I could tolerate using every single day. This product is a dream! I have dry skin, so this isn't hydrating enough for me alone - I use one of Paula's moisturizers underneath (Skin Recovery or Moisture Boost Treatment Cream), but that works just fine for me. I imagine that it will be perfect by itself in the summer months. I've never been able to wear a chemical sunscreen, so I'm not sure why this product works so beautifully for me with no irritation, but I'm certainly not going to complain! I use the Skin Recovery SPF 15 around my eye area just because I like a dewier finish (that's another wonderful product!). I've been using this for 3 weeks straight and I can't believe what a difference it's made on my skin - it's radiant, even toned and I glow! I'm SO excited that I found sunscreen products I actually ENJOY wearing. Paula, you are my skincare guardian angel!

This is the product I've been waiting for. I have been using the Skin Recovery Moisturizer (and others previously) but the Moisture Boost Daily has great texture and higher SPF. The packaging is so much better than the dispenser cap of the Skin Recovery product. I will keep ordering this product!

I agree with the reviews about what a great product this is. My complaint is about the packaging. When I squeeze the tube, even gently, too much plops out. I've wasted so much of this product, which is expensive, this way. How about a pump type dispenser like I had on a similar product from Paula? Elegant lotion
It starts out a bit white but blends in quickly with a smooth finish. This winter, I am applying it over skin recovery serum for extra moisturization. I worked for a major skincare company for eight years but since I left, I do not want to pay their exhorbitant prices at retail. I am now achieving the same results with Paula's products at a fraction of the cost.

This is a great sunscreen - moisturizing, and has a light texture. I guess I don't understand the gripe some people have with the size... if you use it only for your face, which I do, 2 oz. is more then enough and will last you a few months, even if you use sunscreen daily! Anyways, great product, works well under makeup too.

Larger Size Please!!!!
Love it, and all Paula's Choice products, but the tube size of the facial sunscreens is ridiculously small. I therefore find myself unhappily going to larger packaged products (such as Olay Complete All Day Moisture Lotion spf15, which is 120ml), which encourage me to apply a proper amount, don't require me to purchase frequently (making me feel like I'm wasting my money - which I never have previously felt with Paula's Choice - except with these sunscreens!!), and don't make me feel so environmentally guilty by throwing away packaging way too frequently. I believe Paula is all about value for money, proper product application, and has no vendetta against the environment - so please please please make your facial sunscreens bigger!!!!!! The product itself was fine--applied nicely and made my dry skin feel moistened. However, the small package and the price for it are unreasonable. Why the smaller and smaller packages, Paula? I will stay with the Pure Mineral Suncreen.

Great Sunscreen
I've never used a daily sunscreen on my face before because I was always scared of breakouts. I've recently come to the realization that I need to start thinking about preventing wrinkles and sun damage. I also noticed my skin was a little drier than it used to be. Samples of the Skin Recovery Daily Moisturizing Lotion SPF 15 & Antioxidants, though it did have a nice finish, made me break out immediately and didn't actually moisturize as much as I needed. So I tried this out and was pleasantly surprised by the finish. It is a tad shiny, which is why I only rated it a 4. But I mean honestly, for an SPF 20? This is amazing! And never a breakout with this fabulous product!

I have had rosacea for many years and have tried dozens of sunscreen moisturises, with moisture boost daily restoring complex spf 20 being the total package. It glides on smoothly, doesn't make me look like a ghost and is terrific under make. Totally love this product.

Ordered a few samples of this. Love the higher SPF but also getting bumps/breakouts. Glad I tried it, but will go back to the Skin Balancing Mattifying lotion SPF 15.

Perfect for winter time. Moisture, SPF and primer in one! Easy to blend, feels incredibly smooth and comfortable. So far, this has not upset my breakout-prone skin in the least. I love the SPF 20; I often feel SPF 30 is too much for most days, but SPF 15 is too little. I stick mostly to the Hydralight system (with some CLEAR products thrown in), though Hydralight currently lacks a sunscreen. I hope a Hydralight sunscreen as elegant as this one is in the works!

Wonderful new product
Fabulous product. I have combination skin, and all other sunscreen/moisturizers do not absorb and leave my skin sticky and shiny. This products absorbs completely, and my makeup looks great over it! I need a little extra moisture during the winter, and tihs does the job.

New Moisture Boost is Simply the BEST!
I have 62-yr-old very fair combination/dry skin, & have tried for so long to find a daily moisturizer with good sunscreen. That has been First on my list, but meeting that goal is the beginning. The arrival of my tube of "Moisture Boost Daily Restoring Complex with SPF 20" has altered my beauty regimen by reducing the steps needed to get me together. My favorite part of this product is the wonderful finish the Moisture Boost produces. I have put away the expensive makeup primer that was necessary at one time, but is no longer. My makeup lasts, my skin is soft and hydrated, and the sun is not so much a concern for daily errands. This is definitely a product that delivers! Thanks, Paula!

Great for combo skin as well!
I had been using the Skin Balancing SPF 15 for the longest time and it is great for the summer months. Now that the weather is cooler, I transitioned to this new SPF lotion and it is awesome! It doesn't feel greasy in the least, protects with an SPF 20 and doesn't cause the least bit of stinging. Paula, your products are outstanding!

Creamy and not greasy
I was using the Skin Recovery Moisturizing lotion SPF 15 with the mineral sunscreen and it made my dry skin feel drier. The customer service rep I spoke to suggested I try this Moisture Boost Daily w/SPF 20 and it feels so cushiony and creamy and does not make my skin feel dry. I am really pleased with this product. I use mostly all of Paula's skin care and find it to be very high quality and beneficial to my dry skin. I live in South Florida and it's a must for me to wear a good sunscreen under my foundation. This is it!

this is the first paulas choice product i have tried that is moisturizing but sets to a satin finish suitable for makeup application. i use many other of paulas products as well, so add this to the list! i have been using a dept. store product that cost 70.00 dollars under my makeup but no longer! thanks for the excellent products!

I've been waiting for an SPF-infused version of my favorite PC moisturizer, Moisture Boost Hydrating Treatment Cream and it's finally here! The consistency surprised me (yes, it's like a paste), but at the same time, my skin soaks it up beautifully. Not shiny, not greasy, great finish...AND it takes care of rough patches. What a great addition to the PC family!!

I was hesitant to use this product because of its thick consistency, but wow I was surprised! Once it absorbed after a minute, it was the least shiny of all of Paula's SPF lotions and has not broken me out. Perfect for my combination skin.

I wasn't sure at first what to make of this product because of it's texture coming out of the tube. It's extremely thick, like a paste, and felt just a tiny bit heavy when applied. Also has a faint but tolerable sunscreen smell (still preferable to an added fragrance). The good news, it absorbed quickly, and didn't feel heavy, tacky or greasy in the least. But, it still felt moisturizing. The even better news, no shine! The product description as having a "satin" finish is spot on. The product didn't feel matte, and certainly wasn't mattifying, but it also did not add shine to my face like most moisturizers with SPF. I also tend to get shiney when I use any sunscreen with avobenzone, but not here. It also wears really well and I felt like it provided enough moisture to get me through the day. And, even in the 105+ heat in Phoenix with the addition of humidity (not the norm in AZ) from the monsoons, I still didn't feel like the product was too heavy, nor did I get shiney or end up with a greasy as the day went by. In the winter when I'm super dry I might need a bit of moisture under this, but that's OK. Right now in the heat, using my PC toner and this on top is all I need. Thanks for another great product!

Should I reapply Moisture Boost SPF 30 during the day?
For casual wear, meaning less than four hours total time out in the sun, it is not necessary to reapply sunscreen as you will be protected all day. If you are perspiring or just spending a longer period of time outdoors, it should be reapplied.

Although both products provide reliable broad-spectrum sun protection, they do so using completely different active ingredients.
