Directions: At night, apply a thin layer after cleansing, toning, and exfoliating. Also works beautifully around the eyes. For daytime, wear under an SPF 15 product.
Should I consider this product if I currently use Paula's Choice HydraLight Moisture-Infusing Lotion?
This is a matter of preference. If you prefer your moisturizer to feel weightless while keeping skin smooth and soft, then Skin Balancing Moisture Gel is for you. Either formula will take care of dry (but not very dry) skin without feeling heavy or occlusive, and both leave skin matte.
My skin is normal, without any really oily or dry areas. Do I need a moisturizer?
Your skin needs the beneficial ingredients found in our formulations. Our state-of-the-art toners can suffice if you don't want to use moisturizer every day. Great Stuff!
this moisturizer works very well! It's great for my very oily skin. It has an unpleasant scent, though. I was told by the customer service rep that it was because of the raw ingredients. Wish it smelled better but I still really like it.

This is by far the best moisturizer for sensitive, acne-prone, combination skin. Not only does it keep my skin matte far better than anything else I've tried, but it's also effective at reducing redness. Furthermore, I've noticed my acne scars heal much faster than normal. The only downside is that my eyes are too sensitive to use this product around. And I LOVE the new bottle design.

This moisturerizer works great! I'm 24 and have combination skin. It makes my cheeks (tend to be normal and little bit dry during winter) very soft and T-zone very matte. The most perfect moisturerizer for those who have combination skin. No greasynes, no tightness, no dryness. Just good amount of moisture. Highly recommended. I use Skin Recovery Moisturizer for my eye area since they tend to be more dry.

Great for aging oily skin
I have a very oily T-zone, but the rest of my face, not to mention my neck, are getting drier as I age. It was impossible to moisturize the dry areas without adding unwanted oiliness to my T-zone. Finally there is a product I can use all over!

So far, so good!
I just starting using this a month ago. In the spring and summer months, I don't need an additional moisturizer at night. Since the winter weather has arrived, though, I thought I would try this and it really is marvelous. Light texture, goes on easily, does not break me out or cause black heads. I also use it on my hands at night and it sinks right in without feeling greasy.

I thought all the reviews were posted by employees but then I saw Paula on Oprah (us ladies know to trust Oprah no matter what). I ordered a bunch of samples first to make sure I liked them and... Great moisturizer!
I have very oily skin and I didn't think this moisturizer would help it at all, but it truly does! I noticed that when I apply the moisturizer in the morning, my skin is about 80% less oily at the end of the day. The gel form applies very well on the skin and does not leave your skin looking oily after applying. My skin is very acne-prone and this moisturizer NEVER breaks me out even when I apply it in the most sensitive areas like my chin. I can just use a little bit to apply to the entire face. Highly recommended!

Great Summer Aftershave

Very good for sensitive skin
I've used this moisturizer for the last few years. I have combination/sensitive skin and the moisturizer works very well, soothing and never clogging pores. It is great if you do not have very dry skin. It's lightweight, doesn't 'melt' in the heat, glides smoothly and wears well under makeup (exception: M.A.C. liquid foundations--both products are great, just incompatible on my skin when together).
In winter I need something a little stronger at times and a combination serum + moisturizer solves that.

Good Moisturizer
This is a really good moisturizer for oily skin. It has never made me break out, though I do only use it at night, never under makeup because my skin becomes too slick. It's the perfect last step and makes my skin feel great.

Caused Bad Reaction!!!
I was looking forward to trying this out but was soo disappointed with my skin reacted to the product and formed dry flaky patches! I know Paula you are not big on La Roche Posay Toleriane but it is the only thing that works on my skin! Now I have to use this on my neck so that I don't waste my money...

Not good for truly combination skin
I kept having to apply this lotion over and over and my simultaneously dry and oily/acne-prone skin continued to feel tight and dry. Returned it.

Awesome under foundation
This is a great moisturizer. I have extremely oily skin and this is the ONLY moisturizer I use. I was actually at Sephora the other day and did a big no no. I overheard a girl talking about how terrible her oily skin was and how she cant find a moisturizer for the life of her. I went up to her and told her about this. Its that great. The only complaint I have is they only make it in 2oz. It runs out extremely fast. I would recommend them making a bigger size.
