Directions: Apply to cleansed skin. It works beautifully as an eye cream. For daytime, wear under a product rated SPF 15 or greater.
My skin is dry. Which moisturizer do you recommend?
Several Paula's Choice moisturizers would work well for you. Choosing the perfect moisturizer has a lot to do with personal preference and trying a product to determine which one works best on your skin. I live in Colorado so it's very dry out here. I absolutely love this moisturizer! It is so gentle! I just apply it all over my face, even over my eyes! That's how gentle it is! And my eyes are super sensitive and prone to watering. It's fast, easy and efficient. It has a soothing effect and leaves my skin feeling cool and calm. Thank you a bunch Paula!

Dry Skin Saver
I a 51 with very dry sensative skin. I had been using Neutrogena Light Night Cream - in the morning my face would be puffy. This product is super calming and my skin looks great. Only thing I don't like is the smell - but will use it regardless.

The 5 step skincare routine is easy to follow, her sunscreens are beautifully formulated.
Cons:Packaging is very small,all her products contains so much silicones that applying a beautiful liquid foundation is out of the question.

great winter moisturizer
Like a reviewer above, I find that this product has an unpleasant smell. However, it works so well that I'll continue using it. It's the only thing that gets my skin through a harsh winter without feeling tight and getting flaky and itchy.

Very dry skin?
I find this moistuirizer to be good for normal to dry skin, but not for very dry skin. Puala, please develop a moisturizer just for very dry skin.

one product I wish was fragranced
This product is highly effective, but as a few other reviewers have noted, the smell is extremely unpleasant. Unfortunately, for an individual who is sensitive to smells, it smelled so unpleasant that I found I could not use it on my face because it would necessitate rubbing it near my nose and smelling it all dance. This is one product I truly wish was fragranced! However, it's worth a try as it does not bother everyone and Paula has a generous return policy.

Very Happy
This is the best moisturizer I have ever used. I have very dry sensitive skin with rosacea. Can't use ANYTHING with fragrance or irritating ingredents. This moisturizer along with the Skin Recovery Cleanser and the Skin Recovery Super Antioxidant Serum has made me a very happy camper! Love it....but......
Love all of Paula's skin care products. Especially liked the Skin Recovery Moisturer. However, the previous product had and SPF 15. Please put it back in. I don't wear make-up everyday, so this was a great product to wear and get sun protection! Like a cream...not a lotion!

good.. but hate the smell
I love this moisturizer. It works really well for my dry skin. However, I stopped using it for a while because I cannot tolerate the smell. It made me feel nauseated. I agree with another review. This is the moisturizer I like to have fragance in it.

matte, no lingering smell
This is great because it does NOT have a fragranced smell that you would tire of or get a headache from smelling all day. There is only the slightest lotion smell upon first squeezing out, and I actually like it because it is obvious that no additional fragrance is used. It is not unpleasant and does not linger at all.
This lotion is also moisturizing but nice and matte; helps smooth out any glossy look after using serum.

Not able to use
I loved the results I had with this product on my drier skin and around my eyes during initial use, but unfortunately my skin began reacting to it after a few days. I didn't know if this was because of using it in conjunction with other products so I patch tested on my inner thigh and my skin had an immediate angry reaction to it. I'm dissappointed that I can't use it.

I have enjoyed using this product. I live in a very dry climate, so my skin tends toward dry & itchy, but with breakouts on the chin and forehead. This moisturizer works well for me. It goes on silky smooth, does not smell funny, and works well under sunscreen and/or foundation. I can use it around my eyes without irritation, which is something I cannot say for a lot of moisturizers. For extra dry areas and/or a richer overnight moisturizer I would recommend Paula's "skin recovery hydrating treatment mask," but the "skin recovery moisturizer" is great for everyday (used with an added sunscreen, of course).
Yes, I wish it were cheaper, but I have yet to find a cheaper drugstore product that is comparable.

Great product, Texture is good, it has state of the art ingredients but please put some scent in this product (vanilla extract or cocoa extract) it doesn't have to be fragrance, but people do not want to smell some of the other ingredients.

even wonderful for oily skin
I have very oily, sensitive skin and sensitive eyes. This product does NOT make my skin oily and tacky and it does NOT irritate my rosacea or make my eyes itch and tear. I am also thrilled to get a peptide and many antioxidants on my skin. Thank you Paula!

Stop asking to add fragrance
A perfect moisturiser...if you want fragrance...buy some essential oil and add it yourself. Fragrance is a big irritant and I hope paula never even considers adding it to her products.

This hydrates extremely well, however, it smells like fish market-slash-raw eggs-slash-blue cheese.

Great moisturizer!
I read the reviews about the smell and was hesitant to try the product. After having been through chemotherapy, I am unable to tolerate scented products, especially on my face. This product has no "masking fragrance" to cover up the smell of the ingredients. I do not find it unpleasant at all.

This cream is great for normal to dry skin. I can use this in the A.M. without a greasy or shiny appearance. But I usually use as my night cream & my skin looks great in the morning. I really love the Skin Recovery line & feel that my skin is healthier since using this line. A more youthful appearance is a plus too.

Best Moisturizer I have ever used!
I have Rosacea and suffer from VERY dry, sensitive, irritated skin. This is an incredible moisturizer! Yes, I agree the smell is not great, but it is certainly tolerable considering the benefit received from this product (my skin has a zero tolerance level for fragrance). When my skin gets really dry during the winter months I supplement with the Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment Mask and that works quite well for me. Thank you Paula! I only wish your products were available locally!
