Patience rewarded
I bought the Skin Revealing Body Lotion and the Weightless Body Treatment to deal with the tiny white pimples on my upper arms. I got both because my skin seems to do better with a combination of aha and bha products, using one in the morning and the other at night. After a little over a month of use I can finally say that I'm starting to see results. I've noticed that I haven't been getting any new pimples and the hyper-pigmentation spots from old ones is finally starting to fade. It's the middle of winter right now, but I believe that by the time summer rolls around again my upper arms will be completely clear and smooth and ready for sleeveless tops. I know some people wrote comments about seeing almost instantaneous results, but it took a little longer with me. My message to anyone who might be disappointed because they're not seeing improvement right away is that they may need both an aha and a bha product, like I do, and to be patient and keep at it. It might take a while, but the results will be worth the wait.

AHA Body Lotions
For over 7 months I had very deep red dots appearing on my legs only! I went to my dermatologist on two trips to get help..after 4 different expensive prescriptions with NO help at all..many more months passed. I bought the 2% and 10% AHA body lotions just 6 wks. ago..and applied 10% one day (after shower) and the 2% lotion the next. After 2 wks., I thought my leg skin looked different..at 3 wks., not only did it occure to me I had not ONE new red spot, but the one's that had been there for WEEKS were fading! After approx. 6 wks. of daily use..my legs are smooth, young looking again, not ONE new red spot has appeared, and..the many that were there have now faded by 95%!!

Awesome!
I bought this for help with dry feet and cuticles. I had athletes foot for over a year. After I got rid of it, my feet remained very dry and still cracked and bled. I tried quite a few products (some prescription) and nothing worked. I having been using this for 3 days and it has almost completely fixed my feet! It's amazing!! I'm now ordering more to use on knees, hands, elbows, and maybe try on my face occasionally. Of course the BHA 2% will remain an everyday thing as well! It cured my razor bumps!

slow but sure, it works
I found it takes some time for this product to make a change you can notice (if you're not suffering from the red bumps or other serious skin condition). I just wanted something to slow down the 'old lady' hands & forearms I was getting & I can see the difference this lotion has made. I also slather it on my upper chest,& on the back of my neck & upper shoulders since I wear my hair quite short. Now, I wish I didn't give two hoots about aging. I wish I accepted it with grace. But I just will NOT go gently into that good night--I rage, rage against the darn lines & discolorations that pop up! This lotion is a big help, especially with 'crepe' skin on hands & arms. I bet it would be great for my feet, but I gave up on them years ago. I'm very tall & have only a waving acquaintance with my feet.

Saved My Backside!
All I have to say is WOW! This lotion is a miracle worker. Since early spring of 2011 I have been suffering from terrible cystic body and facial acne. It was painful and unattractive. I tried everything from scrubs to body washes to even changing up my birth control to try to get rid of it. Now thanks the Paula I can proudly say I'm acne free on both my body and my face. I use this lotion on my body and the CLEAR product range on my face. I'm so glad my mom came across Paula's products and had me try this. If you have body acne I very highly recommend this lotion. Love this!
I just started using this lotion, and the results were startlingly amazing - I can't believe how smooth my legs feel. I use it in the morning and my skin still feels smooth as silk in the evening. I don't notice any smell at all. I live in the Arizona desert, so dry skin is always a problem. I am truly amazed by this product.

FINALLY-a lotion that works!
I've struggled with dry skin on my feet for a long time. I must own every bottle of lotion out there, and nothing works. I've used Paula's skin care for years, but never tried her body care products. Good Product... CAREFUL in the Sun
This product really does work to even out skin, reduce the little bumps, etc. HOWEVER, I made the mistake on a tropical vacation of not being very careful to apply sunscreen over every inch on which I'd applied this product. The few spots on my arms that I'd missed didn't just burn, they BLISTERED. These spots even peeled to the point that they scarred. So be very careful, especially with prolonged (e.g. beach vacations) sun exposure: without proper sun protection, this can become "Flesh Revealing" Body Lotion.

I don't how Paula does it, but here again is an example of her knack for formulas that perform beautifully, using ingredients that simply MAKE SENSE. A Real Work Horse!
This lotion is amazing. I had a strange leathery patch on my right calf that I thought I would be stuck with forever. After 4 or 5 applications of this lotion, the patch disintegrated. There's no sign of it now! I know "fragrance free" is a good thing for my skin, but this lotion would be more pleasant to use if it had a touch of fragrance.

Excellent formula
This is an excellent formula. The 10% AHA gives it the extra strength needed to soften even the rougher skin on heels, elbows, etc. I alternate this with the BHA and I love them both. For those who don't like the smell, you can add your own fragrance or essential oil to suit you. However, the whole point of the PC line is that ALL its products are fragrance-free for those with sensitive skin. I am one of those and hope Paula will keep her products free of unnecessary additives such as fragrance.

Found the Solution!
For all of you who hate the smell of this stuff: I did too, but then I found a solution! I really really wanted to reap the benefits of this lotion, but the smell was keeping me away. I have a VERY strong sense of smell, and just couldn't do this lotion. But then I had an idea. And it worked! So here's what I suggest: Smooth on the Skin Revealing Body Lotion. Wait a few minutes for it to really absorb into your skin/work/do whatever magic it's going to do. THEN smooth on a thin layer of Slip Into Silk body lotion OVER it. It completely covers the smell! I didn't think it would work, but it does, and beautifully! The Slip into Silk does have a naturally-occuring scent, which of course you have to like or be able to tolerate. To me, it smells a little like the Cucumber scent found in all the body washes these days. So I am SO happy -- now I FINALLY get to use this wonderful Skin Revealing Body Lotion! Yay! I hope my solution works for you, too. :)

Need BIGGER bottle with Pump
This is an allover body lotion that works miracles on over-60 skin. But the tube is a pain after shower!! AND like all the others who commented, c'mon, whats with the higher cost and decreased amount of product? BEST LOTION FOR DRY HEELS EVER!
I'm a new Paulas Choice user and I think this lotion is THE best to use for dry scaly heels!. I use it night and morning. I noticed a difference in my dry heels after only a few uses. No other lotion has made my feet feel so soft. I would definitely recommend this lotion. I do agree it has a slightly odd smell, but not so much that I would stop using it.

Miracle in a bottle!
I've had bumps/cysts on my back for as long as I can remember. In a few weeks I've seen them shrink, or disappear completely. And the condition of my skin is also improving, the slight redness I've had on my arms is fading as well. Does it stink? Yes. But that fades in a few minutes and it is better than having added scents.

Best Body Cream

yes it smells, but works GREAT
I agree this is not great smelling stuff. But it has a way of restoring a glow/sheen to body skin that is most definitely LOST as you enter your 40s. (For me it was lost by my late 30s.) I use it on my upper body and it works so beautifully that a bit of vinegary smell seems well worth the results.

I have tried many products, all prices, trying to get rid of the red bumps on the back of my arms and legs. I applied Skin Revealing Body Lotion with 10% AHA twice a day. Love it - but $$$
My very pale legs have always looked very dry no matter what moisturizer I use. This is the first product I've used that makes them look/feel better and not continue to look like a desert. That being said, it is expensive and I'm already half way through the bottle. I don't know if I will order more due too cost, or either I will order some and not use it daily. It does work and I don't have a problem with an odor/smell like I did with the Slip Into Silk Body Lotion. I would give it 5 stars if not for the price, but it is a great product.

Leaves my dry skin smooth. Feels great. In winter, my legs get dry, itchy and scaly and when I have used lower end drug store moisturizers, they sting and have to be washed off. But Paula's actually feels good and handles the problem. Thanks!

I was using this on my face, then found that Paula's 2% BHA lotion worked better. I love the new packaging for this product, and continue to use it on my arms and legs with great results. Be aware that while there is no added fragrance, this will smell odd for the first minute or two after you apply it. Don't let that scare you off, though! The scent is totally normal and is not an indicator that the product is less effective. It works very well to smooth and moisturize skin and the scent does not linger at all.

Non-sticky...well done
I have been disappointed with the AHA body lotions from NeoStrata Lac-Hydrin, which were almost like glue....this one is very smooth and absorbs quickly, with no tacky feel.I have also been using it on my normal-oily face and I am happy with the results, and will continue buying.

A miracle worker!
I've been using this for many years and there is nothing else like it. It is the only thing that gets rid of the horrible bumps and roughness on my legs and arms. The smell dissipates within a few minutes. Whatever you do, DO NOT CHANGE THIS FORMULA! It's perfect! When I get lazy and stop using it they bumps and roughness come right back come back and this is the only thing that gets rid of them again. If Paula would make this in a huge 32 ounce super saver size I would buy one a year and be done with it. I now have to buy 4 at a time to last me the year. This is does exactly what it says it will and I have never been without it since day one! Love it!

I use this on my face, yes face, every night, along with the Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment Mask(as a moisturizer), and get outstanding results. My son (age 10) has keratosis pilaris on his face and this helps better than anything else we've tried. This is a real steal for the price!

Great product but smells
I really like this product as I have noticed a difference in my skin, especially on the back of my thighs where I always had small bumps. I substracted a star because it does have a strong "glue" smell that isn't present in other Paula's products even the 10% AHA I use on my face doesn't smell like this. The smell dissappates quickly. Also I can't use it everyday, I use it two days and take one day off. Still a fabulous product with real results despite the drawback of smell.

Perfect for neck and chest!
This is a wonderfully effective and affordable moisturizer/exfoliant for the neck (front and back) and chest; areas that are often neglected. I've used it for several years and am sure that's part of the reason people think I'm younger than my age (56). (Apply after showering, using upward strokes.)

Fantastic Product!
I've been using this lotion for a few weeks now, and the small bumps on the back of my arms are gone! Also, my skin is much softer and looks so much better, particularly my sun-damaged chest. Don't be deterred by the smell. It fades quickly and is not a problem.

I've ben using this for years. It is not often(if ever) you'll find a exfoliating 'treatment' with all the 'bells & whistles' antiox. in a elegant formulation that leaves skin feeling soft-never greasy...at such a resonable price. The smell doesn't bother me. Maybe, PC could add vanilla as in the discontinued oil mist. Other than that, please don't change this product!

Terrible Smell
I was expecting a fragrance free product but instead got a nasty, unpleasant almost sulfur smell when I opened the bottle. I used it for two days and then returned it. I use Alpha Hydrox-same results, no smell.

Super Soft
I'd written a review based on a sample and I loved it so I couldn't wait for the full-size bottle to arrive. I've been using regularly for almost two weeks and I'm very impressed. The wonderful quality of this lotion should help to expel the fear of mineral oil. I have acne-prone skin and was afraid to try this on my face, but after reading up on the ingredients I tried it and with wonderful results. I use a BHA every day to control break outs, but this lotion added just a few times a week has smoothed my skin in ways that the BHA didn't. I had a dry/flaky patch at the base of my throat, it's now gone. I use this lotion everywhere and I love that a little goes a long way. Also, I don't get why some are put off by the way it smells - I'm one of those weird people, I guess, because I actually like the way it smells (it sort of reminds me of cinnamon bun dough). When I started using this I jokingly told my husband, "I'm going to be so soft, you won't be able to find me in the dark." I am silky-soft from head to toe. Note: bottle needs a pump.

Baby-Soft Feet!
I've tried the sample and I really liked it and am ordering the full size, hoping the consistency is the same because I squeezed about 4 applications out of the sample packet. At first I thought this product was a little pricey, but after looking at comparable products, you actually get quite a lot for the price since the product seems to spread easily and should last. I loved how soft my feet were after using this just a couple of times! I didn't notice ANY lingering smell like other reviews have said. I really like the fact that there is no masking fragrance. I can't wait to start using this on a regular basis.

I have been using Skin Revealing body lotion and Slip into Silk lotion for about a month. my husband (who notices NOTHING) commented on how soft my skin was and asked if I had been using anything different! Amazing!
Just wanted to say "many thanks for your products, especially the Skin Revealing Body Lotion." Watched the Dr. Oz program and he reviewed different tests for aging skin. One test to see the skin's elasticity was to gently pinch the skin on our hand between the thumb and second finger....hold it for about 30 to 45 seconds and then let go. If the skin returns to it's natural position within about 20 seconds or so, it is in very good condition. There was a chart to show depending on the age of the person how long it should "bounce back" into place. I am 56 and was a sun worshipper. Luckily, I knew face exposure was a no-no even back then. My hand skin went back into place well within the time limit!!! That REALLY convicted me to continue using Paula's Skin Revealing Lotion all over my body AND the tops of my hands. Sun damage always shows itself on our faces and hands quicker. This lotion has put my skin back on track thanks to all the nourishing ingredients. It exfoliates the dead skin, nourishes and lightly moisturizes with antioxidants to fight off the free radicals. All the best of what skin needs in one bottle!!! Amazing!

I so want to love this lotion...
It really does work fabulously, but the smell is just horrible. It makes me sick to my stomach even when I only use it on my feet and cover them with socks! Even my family complains about the smell when I use it. I have had it well after the 60 day guarantee to see if I could get past the smell but it's just getting worse.

Wonderful Lotion
I did not buy this earlier due to the reviews about the unpleasant smell. I have been using it for several weeks, and my skin is normal. And it works great for my dry cuticles..they are beautiful now. I love it.

Cant get past the smell
I really want to like this lotion!! i have no problem with the smell of any of your other products, but this one i just cant get past! Usually if i find a product offensive in odor the smell usually goes away once you put it on. It does not seem too with this lotion i can smell it all day! :( feels nice though haha

I am shocked to see all of the mediocre to negative reviews of this product. Yes, it does have a slight, neutral smell, but it's so faint as to almost be unnoticeable. I have been using this product almost every day for a couple of years (I'm in my mid 30's), and I think it maintains and promotes beautiful skin. I also have acne-prone skin, and it keeps that in check, too (which is surprising given how emollient the product is). Indeed, I would personally recommend this to people who have sensitive, acne prone skin--with the caveat that, yes, each person's skin is ultimately unique; but given how picky my own is, and the fact that this product actually prevents problems, I'd recommend giving it a try. And for people just wanting exfoliation, this is probably about as perfect as it gets.

Seems to be doing a decent job exfoliating. I do agree with other reviewers that the product odor is not great and that getting the product out of the bottle can be a challenge. Also, since it can be used on all parts of the body including the face it would be nicer if it was not so greasy and heavy.

Can't Get Past the Smell
This product may not contain fragrance, but it has a very unpleasant smell that does not dissipate with time. I put it on before I went to bed and it was just as strong when I woke up the next morning. I cannot comment to its efficacy because after 2 days of use, I had to stop using it. I recommend to anyone who wants to try this product, order a sample or two first.

I've been using Paula's products for a long time now, but have never tried this until i read a review that it helped someones heels. It was worth a try since i trust Paula's products. My heels have been so bad for so many years, dry, cracked and just ugly! Sometimes i could hardly walk because the cracks were so deep. Of course i've spent hundreds of dollars trying to treat this, even seeing dermatologists to no avail!! This lotion is a MIRACLE, i can't even believe my eyes, my heels are almost completely healed, i have to look twice because i can't believe it. Love the Product, Hate the Container
You simply cannot squeeze out a small amount out of this container. At this cost, you should be able to measure the amount you want to use. Please see if you can remedy this. Product works well, similar to Amlactin XL (also pricey).

only one bad feature
This is a great product. It makes my legs so smooth and silky. It's a bit sticky when first applied but the stickiness doesn't seem to last however it has an unpleasant smell. A fresh clean smell would make this product more appealing.

Good for sun damage
This is a very good lotion to help sun damaged skin, especially neck and chest areas. The smell others have talked about probably comes fron the AHA in the lotion. Would be nice if a light, natural fragrance were added.

THE BEST product, hands down, I have ever used on my 60-yr-old dry, flaky, crepey, spotted, rough skin. Takes only a few applications before significant changes take place. I'm a big girl a use this daily for soft, silky, firm glowing skin. The natural fragrance is great as it does not interfere with a perfume.

The moisturizer keeps the KP in check. It at times stings my (unbroken) skin; if you have sensitive skin you may want to try products with lower AHA percentages.

I love love love this lotion, its not greasy at all yet super moisturizing, only thing i don't like is the bottle. It makes it so hard to get the lotion out. It'll be better if it comes in a tube or a pump. Other than that- superb lotion.

Not good for acne
It has a nice texture and is good for moisturizing, but not for acne. I started using it when the 2% BHA body lotion was discontinued (which worked great for body acne). Unfortunately, this product does not work for that purpose.

It makes my skin so soft and helps with the dry skin on my feet and is also a good skin prep before applying a self tanner!! I love Paula's products and books, I hope she never stops selling them and I hope she does not get rid of all her makeup products! That would make me sad:(

New packaging = less product
I love this product BUT was not thrilled to open my shipment last week to find that the new packaging contains 1 oz less than the old packaging for the same price. This is now a 7oz tube and not the 8oz bottle that I ordered!

Works Great But Smells Funny!
This product works great just as other reviewers say, but I don't like the smell at all. If you can get over the smell, its a must have!

So far, so good
Product is pricey. My skin is soft (no different than usual), no change in color/texture. I did notice was it brought out the color in one tattoo (it was faded). It kinda tingles/itches at first. It spreads wonderfully and absorbs quickly.

No Thanks
This "fragrance-free" product smells like grammar school glue. You know, the white, tacky stuff. On application, that's what this feels like, too. Paula has many fine products, but this is one I would not buy again.

So far, so good!
The lower part of my legs is really dry and this is great for that area. I also get really dry patches in the winter and look forward to using this for those areas as well as my decollete (lots of sun damage). It is kind of pricey, so I'll also use the less expensive Dove Proage too (which has a really strong smell but really works well), so I'm giving it a "4" due to price. I also want to say the customer service is amazing. I received the order super-fast, then there was a leak at the bottle seal. I immediately called the customer service number and they sent out a new bottle right away! They even included some free samples.

This product is fantastic! I don't normally have sensitive skin, but whatever I would use to moisturize my neck/check area always caused a rash. Since I've been using the Skin Revealing Lotion, my skin has healed and looks younger. Keep up the good work!

No stretch marks
While I was pregnant I applied this cream every day on my tummy. This is the only product I used during pregnancy. Unbelievable, but I did not get even a one stretch mark on my tummy. My tummy looks same as before pregnancy!

More than I expected
I have only been using this product for about 5 weeks but I definitely notice the difference. The big surprise is how great it works on acne!! I have spent hundreds of dollars on over-the-counter stuff for my daughter and after just one use the difference was amazing! What a great product!

Great for my son's Keratosis Pilaris
I bought this lotion for me to use. It works great for my body acne and flaky areas. My son has keratosis pilaris, small white bumps all over his arms. I started having him apply this lotion after his shower and the bumps are starting to disappear. Plus it has cleared a wart that we have tried to get rid of for years, not months, years! This is a great lotion.

Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
How is Paula's Choice Skin Revealing Body Lotion with 10% AHA different from the 8% Alpha Hydroxy Acid Gel? Do I need both?
The two major differences between these exfoliants are that the Skin Revealing Body Lotion is in a creamy moisturizing base while the 8% AHA Gel has a fluid, gel base. The concentration of glycolic acid is the other main difference, with the Skin Revealing Body Lotion containing 10% AHA and being designed for use from the neck down. Both AHA products are formulated within the pH range needed to exfoliate dry, sun-damaged skin.
Can I use Skin Revealing Body Lotion with 10% AHA on my face?
Probably. If you have used AHA products (formulated in an acidic pH range to allow for exfoliation) on your face without incident, you should be able to use Skin Revealing Body Lotion too.
I am using Renova/Retin-A on sun-damaged body skin. Is it OK to use this with Skin Revealing Body Lotion with 10% AHA?
Some physicians/dermatologists advise against using glycolic acid at the same time as tretinoin due to the potential for increased irritation and topical side effects (such as stinging or flaky skin). Other doctors feel that an AHA product enhances penetration of the tretinoin into the skin. You can experiment with both options to see which one works best for you. You may apply the tretinoin product in the evening and apply the Skin Revealing Body Lotion as part of your morning routine, followed by an effective sunscreen rated SPF 15 or higher. You may also apply both at the same time, starting with the AHA and then applying the tretinoin product. If you experience increased redness, prolonged stinging, or flaking skin, discontinue using Skin Revealing Body Moisturizer over areas where tretinoin is also applied.
