So smooth and silky
I love this lotion! It makes my skin feel so smooth and silky and it didn't clog my pores at all which is great because I can get body acne sometimes. The only reason I didn't order this again is the cost. You only get a small amount of lotion and when I applied to my whole body once a day it would run out in a little less than a month. In the end it just wasn't worth the price. I went to beautypedia.com and found a great drugstore brand that works fine for me and is much cheaper.

Yes, very silky!
This lotion deserves a *5*! It lives up to its claims. It's very silky and it doesn't leave any tacky feel on the skin.

Hydrating
This lotion dries quickly and is very hydrating. I like this packaging better than a pump because it's easier to get every last drop! I squeeze thin lines down my arms, legs, etc., so I can get just the right amount. As for the fragrance, it smells more like cucumber to me.

Not moisturizing enough
I had to constantly reapply this moisturizer to my legs after showering and in the morning. Its also hard to smooth into the skin, and the lid is annoying to constantly twist it, it would be better with a flip cap. Not very emoiliant, I am going to exchange it for the body butter.

Great lotion
I very rarely apply body lotions, because I do not like the sticky feeling. This leaves me with dry itchy legs. This lotion is different - it absorbs very quickly and does not leave a film. After two uses, the itchy skin was gone. I don't mind the smell at all.

This is a wonderful body lotion which is not greasy, smelly nor does it leave any sort of "waxy" build-up like some lotions or body creams can leave. I also recommend this produce for anyone who lives in a dry climate. This is a product which will always be in my arsenal for beautiful and healthy skin.

The rating of 3 is perhaps a bit generous because this did very little to relieve my dry skin. The effect was barely noticeable. Back to the Eucerin.

Good product,inconvenient packaging
I, contrary to others, do like the smell and the product in general, but the packaging is the thing that prevents me from using it more. Slip into Silk Body Lotion
Product is a 5, packaging is a 3. This product is fantastic for my allergy prone skin. I developed allergies to body products in my 40's, I am now 51. I can use very few products on my body without developing a rash or itching. This product causes none of that. I only wish it came in a 14-16 oz pump dispenser package that I can sit on my counter, since I do use it everyday after showering. It is time consuming and inconvenient to have to pick up the tube to dispense the product repeatedly, and when the tube gets low if you put it down you have to shake the contents back to the top. A smaller purse size would be nice too since I use it on my hands after washing. Am I asking to much? lol Customer Care Response: Thank you for your feedback. Love this lotion but would be perfect with SPF!
This lotion is the best daily body lotion I have ever used. It keeps my skin so smooth and it's perfectly soothing after shaving my legs. The only change I'd like to see, is the same formula offered with the addition of SPF. I have a Paula's Choice sunscreen that's great for sun protection, but it doesn't provide the same level of moisture, and it feels too heavy in the summertime to layer the lotion and a separate sunscreen on my arms and legs. This lotion formula combined with an SPF of 15 or higher would make my perfect product! (I would still happily buy the original version for nighttime moisture as well, of course!)

@ Chau Moody - Apparently you don't read labels. This lotion has antioxidants and most store brands don't. With that said, I had my derm check it out and he said it was probably the best non-Rx lotion for daily use he had ever seen. The level of anti-oxidants is unparalleled for body lotion. I use this with the 1% Beta lotion for face, and retinol and the keratosis on upper arms and buttocks is completely under control. And the marks are almost gone. This is a very good product. Keep up the good work Paula. Knowledge is power!

I like it, it moisturizes well... The only problem is that I really have to press for some to come out. The package is all dented from me pressing so hard! Don't know if it only was that one that was defective. I have the BHA and comes out easily & it has the same package.

When I got the sample first to check it out I really liked the texture,so I ordered the full size.Unfortunately I was dissappointed because after applying it all over when I got out of the shower as I always do,my skin was left very dry so I had to add Mineral oil to it to get some moisture out of it.My skin on my face is comb.and usually oily on my forehead,so I don't know why it left my skin so tight and dry on my body.Won't buy again since the only draw was the nice texture.Thanks for your other good products.

Love the lotion, Hate the bottle
I love the lotion, but I hate the bottle. The lotion's thickness doesn't allow it to easily flow out of the bottle, but the bottle is too stiff to squeeze. Aveeno makes a wonderful body lotion bottle where it's easy to empty almost all of the contents. I would purchase Paula's body lotion again, but something's got to be done with the lotion's container. Thanks!

Slip into Silk packaging
This is a good body lotion. It absorbs quickly and leaves a "silky" feel and I will buy it again. I have soap and fragrance allergies so this is a safe product for those who react to same. Two things I do not like about Slip into Silk Body lotion is the very bad shape of the bottle. It's hard to get the lotion out. It's like getting ketchup out of a bottle. The bottle slips out of my hand and the process hurts my arthritic hands. Lastly, though not intolerable, the lotion smells a bit like olive oil.

Great for Eczema
The only lotion I've ever used that didn't have me all but screaming in pain when I applied it to my eczemetic legs after shaving. A godsend.

Great Lotion, bad packaging
I'll start by saying that the lotion is great. My 2 year old has very dry skin/ eczema problems and she is doing great with this product. She scratches less and product consistency is very good too. It's easy to apply. I would be very happy with it if it came in a bigger size and tube or pump packaging. This is why I only give this product 4. It's very hard to get the lotion out, and it seems this lotion is half size of other drug store lotions.

Has become my new favourite product!
When I first started using this product, I didn't really think it was anything special but after using it for a few weeks I can really notice a difference in my skin. The dryness has really gotten much better. I am even addicted to the natural, unfraganced scent. It is so fresh and clean smelling!

a nice light lotion
I tried this lotion and the body butter at the same time. My winter skin is always dry and cracking and needs the richness of the body butter but I prefer the packaging of this lotion. And when you just want a little light moisture this is perfect.
Except I would much prefer this in a tube as well. It is thick enough that it is slow to flow to top of container when partially used. And very messy and tippy to try storing on the slightly rounded lid. Plus I have nearly cracked the bottle squeezing it!
If both this and the body butter came in tubes I probably would keep both on hand all the time. Meanwhile I am reluctantly still in search for the perfect lotion in the perfect container.

Slip Into Silk Body Lotion
This lotion is quite expensive, so I bought it for the purpose of using it just on my hands (Beautiful Body Butter is great for this purpose, but too rich to use during the day). Unfortunately, it is not moisturizing enough, so I'll have to use it as a post-shaving moisturizer on my legs instead. Many people have mentioned the smell and packaging as issues - did not see anything wrong with either.

Great After Shave Lotion
I love the fragranced lotions but i would break out in razor burn after applying to freshly shaven legs. I don't use it every day because it is a bit pricey to me, but I use it after I have applied Skin Relief Treatment to shaven legs and no razor burn!

great HAIR product!!
I love this lotion for my skin, but find it works even better as a leave in treatment for hair. Just take your hands with whatever little product is left after using the lotion and run them through your hair. Frizz/flyaways....Gone!!
My hair never looks right until I do this, no matter what antifrizz or styling products I use! Best of all, it is so lightweight, it doesn't weigh hair down in the least bit! Just don't use more than a little bit!

To tell you the truth I had frequently used your facial moisturizers on my hands when I wanted a good dose of moisture. I am 60 so you can guess how long I have been looking for a product for rough skin (elbows, ankles, etc). Yes. In fact, this would be an excellent nighttime combination to use over dry, sun-damaged body skin such as the décolleté area, hands, or arms. Apply Slip Into Silk Body Lotion and finish with a few drops of the Super Antioxidant Concentrate product that is best for your skin type.
I have very dry skin from the neck down and/or in specific areas (elbows, knees, etc.). Is Slip Into Silk Body Lotion emollient enough for me?
Probably not. For very dry or cracked skin (such as elbows, knees, and heels), we recommend using Beautiful Body Butter, which is considerably more emollient than Slip Into Silk Body Lotion.
Why do you have only a few body moisturizing options and not a range like you do for your facial moisturizers?
We have a small selection for the neck down because skin type is far less complicated and women have fewer preferences for how lotions feel on their body than they do on their face. Therefore, there is less demand for a variety of textures from the neck down than there is from the neck up.
