The Super Antioxident Concentrate is the best product I have ever used. I can put this on before my foundation and my foundation goes on silky smooth. This is really great as I have combination skin. I had my daughter try it and she has dry skin and she fell in love with it.

Great for face and hair!
I love the Super Antioxidant Concentrate for my face for all the reasons other reviewers have already described, but Paula's recommendation to use it on dry, coarse hair is brilliant! It is the only product that leaves my wavy, dry hair soft and smooth, and it even helps to keep it under control in the high humidity we have here. Why change the Antioxidant Concentrate
Why are so many excellent ingredients missing from the Antioxidant Concentrate - gone are Vit. C Ester, SOD, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Oat Beta Glucan etc. etc. This product was reformulated and some of the antioxidants in the original formula were not used in the new version. The new version contains broad range of efficacious antioxidants and the same texture/finish our customers have come to love.

Yet another use for Paula's AOX serums
If you are having problems using an exfoliant (even Paula's super gentle ones), try using this serum UNDER it. It helps lessen the irritation yet still allows ample exfoliating to occur.

Calms Redness
I never expected this to lessen the redness on my skin, but it did, and it even minimized the spider veins on my cheeks. One day I just noticed that they were no longer there! Fabulous product.

unfortunetly, this product turned my face beet red after applying, so if you have very sensitive skin I would not recommend this product.

Awesome stuff
This is really awesome stuff. I use this after Paula's Skin Balancing Toner and her 8% AHA exfoliant at night. It's the finishing touch before I go to bed, such soft and silky texture that you can feel even next morning, so you know the stuff is on your skin absorbing all night. I feel this is a really effective skincare routine, the spots of perennial redness on my cheeks have much improved.

Love at first sight

Love the New/Improved Version
Just started using the new & improved version of the Super Antioxidant Concentrate and love it. When I saw the new formula I new mmediately it was special (thanks to Paula I know how to read an ingredient label). heavy silicone
I love the cocktail of antioxidants in this serum, but I don't understand the love affair with silicone...I have very 'reactive' skin and don't like the way silicone feels or performs...wish there were the same product without the irritating silicone. New and Improved
I can't tell you why, but I've never been able to use any of the antioxidant concentrates. They all caused skin break-outs, and the skin-balancing one the worst of all. Stubbornly, I've bought them over and over again--hoping the product would magically work for me (or, at the very least, not cause irritation). Lo and behold, the reformulated version (and, once again, I have no idea why) is wondrous. No break-outs, smooth, even skin and the product reduces redness immediately. I would recommend this product most highly for very sensitive skin (apparently like my own). While it may not perform miracles (it does not claim to), it does do something miraculous: work. What more could you ask for?

What happened to the retinol?
I'm puzzled! Sounds like the new formulation has many promising and exciting ingredients in it, but what happened to the retinol, the ingredient that Paula has often praised as the only truly proven anti-aging ingredient? I used the old formulation, but changed my mind on purchasing again after seeing the new one. I think I will need to switch to the skin recovery or mattifying formulation instead.

Great.
This is a really thick serum that does soak in after a while and is really moisturizing but I have oily skin so it's not the best product for me. Someone with dry skin will really love it!

Great Serum
I've tried other serums and have had trouble with getting cysts and pimples from them. I switched to Paula's new and improved Super Antioxidant Concentrate and am pleased with the results. Grrreeaaattt!!!
I would officially give this a 4.5 because nothing is perfect. but this product is pretty darn close! it took a while to get used to the texture, only because I've never used anything like it before. Less is definitely more with this one, and it's FABULOUS around the eye area. Follow the directions and you should be okay. Back in February I got a tattoo and I needed a fragrance and oil free mousturizer to put on it for a couple of weeks. I used this and it was amazing. My tattoo surface healed in 3 days and it was so soothing. I'm not a doctor but the proof is in the pudding!

Revitalizing

New formulation is the best!
This product is amazing--my skin has never looked better. I LOVE the new formulation. I love all of Paula's products, but my skin reacted with redness to all of the antioxidant concentrates, so I was unable to use them. This new formulation has cut out the offending ingredient, and makes my skin look wonderful. For those who experienced sensitivity with the other antioxidant concentrates, give this one a try!

Rosacea Flares

I usually love her products, but...
I use several products from her line and love them. However, I used this once 3 days ago and I still had to go to the Dr today after the holiday weekend for the severe alergic reaction. My eyes look like a basset hound, my skin is red and covered in hives. Even on the top of my wrists where I wiped my fingers are covered in hives. I wish I had order the skin calming lotion with my last order. Needless to say, I will mot be trying this again and still have perscription allergy meds to pick up to try and get the "results" under control. UGH! Beauty essential

Not an improvement

Retinol?
This is a great product, although I prefer the texture of the earlier formulations. Like Sherrie, also, I'm confused about the lack of retinol. Perhaps Paula could address in a future column or article? I subscribed to Beautipedia to try and find more answers and see if Paula's rethinking retinol as a key ingredient, but didn't find the answer. This is a great product, though, with a nice texture. A little thicker feel than the earlier version, almost oily at first, but it melts into the skin almost insantly. Paula's antioxidant serums + her BHA lotions make a dramatic improvement in my skin tone. (That and fanatic use of her spray SPF 35 sunscreen--in Denver we need the strong stuff.) I'm 43 and people often think I'm in my 30s.

Great product!
I use this product one of two ways, either alone or mixed with skin balancing moisturizing gel. It makes an excellent primer under my mineral foundation. Non irritating and no overpowering scents either!

Amazing
This is the first Paula's Choice product I ordered to try. It's amazing. You can feel it nourishing your skin and it does not have a sticky feel to it at all. I have read before how important it is to package a product so you aren't dipping your fingers in it and contaminating the whole jar. Jars are pretty and can make the product look expensive, but tubes are the way to go for the majority of skin care products. Way to go Paula!!!

Not sure it works
This feels nice on the skin, however I'm not sure the anti-oxidants stay active for long. Each time I use it, it sucks back a bunch of air back into the tube, and does this more so as the tube gets emptier. I'm sure it's getting exposed to a lot of air before it ever touches my skin. Considering the price I won't buy it again unless I'm sure it;s actually an effective product.

Goodbye blotchiness!
I have been using the other antioxidant in the blue and white tube and decided to try this new and improved version and this works even better for me. When my skin is irritated it has reddened areas and this immediately calms everything down. I love using this at night, its improved my eye area and my skin is in great shape. I really want to love this......
but my face reacts with immediate redness.It is wonderful that this has so many antioxidants. I can use this on my hands and neck but not on my face. I read in another review about reactions to "cyclo"silicone products. I wonder if I am reacting to the cyclo-pentasiloxane in this product and another moisturizer that both use this ingredient. Love this serum
