About Me Minimalist
Comments about CALM Kit for Normal to Dry Skin - Full Kit:
I have a lot of redness around my nose and cheeks. Honestly I haven't noticed any reduction in the redness after using this set for the last few months. I like the moisturizers and the serum was nice. Nothing broke me out or caused any other redness but I guess I expected a little more results wise.
Service and delivery comments:
Service and delivery was fine.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

About Me Beauty Expert
I was very skeptical of this line. I have used other companies calming/anti-redness lines before. Paula's Choice Calm line was about half the price of what I was currently using and I wasn't getting the results I wanted so I switched. I thought that there was no way the PC Calm line could outperform my expensive brand I was currently using. I was so wrong. Within one day of using the whole line (cleanser, toner, BHA exfoliant and day moisturizer in the morning and cleanser, toner, BHA exfoliant, serum and night moisturizer at night) my face was softer and my cheeks were cool to the touch. I have rosacea. Not a slight redness, full on bright tomato always look sunburned hot to the touch red cheeks. Almost everything irritates my cheeks causing redness and heat. This was the first time ever after applying something to my cheeks they were not irritated and felt cool to the touch. I was so amazed I made my husband feel them just to make sure I wasn't dreaming. I have been using this line for almost a year. My cheeks have gone from sunburned almost purple red to pink. More than half of the redness has been reduced. My skin is significantly softer, less reactive and still cool to the touch. My only issue I have had is with the serum. It likes to ball up my makeup primer and sometimes the night moisturizer. I use it at night to avoid the balling issue with my primer and if it balls up with the night moisturizer I don't really mind because I am going to bed and no one will notice it. I truly love this line and am so thankful for Paula's Choice! Thank you for saving my face!
PC customer service was amazing. I called and asked tons of questions before I ordered this. They were very polite and helpful.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Gentle and effective

This system has definitely minimized my rosacea redness. I am upgrading to a 2% exfoliant as this one does not clear my pores well enough. I do not think the toner and serum do much but am really pleased overall!

Amazing and Non-Irritating!!
from Philadelphia, PA
I was hesitant to spend so much money on a kit, but what a wonderful value this has turned out to be. My skin is clearer and less red (in combination with the metronidazole topical cream I use for my rosacea). And these products are not irritating!! The first time I used the cleanser I was impressed. It felt so smooth and soothing compared to the sensitive skin cleanser I'd been using. The toner is amazing! I actually look forward to caring for my skin every day. I love the moisturizer - it comes in a tube, which is one of the two forms my dermatologist said the most moisturizing formulations would be packaged in (the other is a jar). I've tried all the products in the kit and all are recommended. I especially love the moisturizer with sunscreen. It rubs in well and is light enough to wear under makeup, if needed. And knowing something about chemistry and pharmaceutical packaging, I can say PC's attention to getting her product's packaging correct is extraordinary - seems like a small detail to some, but packaging is a huge part of maintaining quality and shelf life. I'm a convert!

My holy grail :)
By Stephanie G.
I've waited a full month before submitting this review and I think it's time I spill :) This has been wonderful for my skin. It was dry, it was red, it was sensitive and while it didn't do any miracles (skin is still a little red and I had a few rashes), it did really made my skin feel nice and less reactive. I really love the fact that it doesn't smell much (small cucumber smell for the day cream). It does make my skin feel a little greasy for a few minutes but it sinks right in. Last week I could go outside with only a tinted moisturizer and a powder on top of everything and I didn't feel too red. Only a few pink pimples did show but I'm okay with those. This kit was a very nice introduction to Paula's Choice and I'm happy to say that I'll stay on the wagon!
It took a long time to get my product but it was perfect. Nothing broken or leaking :)

About Me Beauty Conscious
I started using Paula's Choice when I got samples for this line when it first came out.. I never looked back. I ordered the full size after a week of using the products. The redness in my face was reduced, the pores on my nose looked smaller, and it cleared my skin of the few bumps I had. This kit has drastically improved my skin texture and how dry and red it was. I love PC and exclusively use her products now. I threw out all the Clinique and Aveeno products I once used with no results.
Delivery is great. the fastest way 2 days. the slowest was 4. and customer service is outstanding!

These products are truly remarkable! Have been a Paula customer for several years, using the Resist products, loved them, but over the past 6 months have had episodes of redness, horribly dry patches that late in the day started to look like a severe peeling sunburn and no amount of moisturizer helped. Switched to the Calm products and it is gone. Please don't ever stop making this line - it is the best. Am positive that I can't be alone in loving it so much. My skin is happy and looks so much better.

Best skin care set EVER
By Monica W.
from North Carolina
I've been using a mix of several of Paula's Choice skin care products for approx 15 years, with good success. I tried the Calm Kit just on a whim. Even though I don't have redness, my skin can be sensitive at times. Calm Redness Relief is SO soothing. I've been using all the products in the kit. Although I've always had success with Paula's other products, I am hooked for good on Calm from now on.

Would not recommend
from Houston Tx
I bought this product after hearing about it from a friend, it sounded promising but after a while it started to do more harm than good. I use it regularly, almost everyday but after a few weeks my skin started to feel irritated and the skin on my nose and forehead started to peel and burn really bad. Now I have red blotches on my face. I'll admit, it did work for a bit. I've been dealing with rosacea for years now and I thought I finally found something that would help, I was wrong.

I look forward to my skincare routine am and pm
I love this entire set. I've been using a few weeks and my skin is now glowing and I don't need as much or any makeup (besides concealer for these genetic dark circles). The daytime sod moisturizer is my least fave because of the white cast and the feel of it - doesn't blend the greatest with makeup but great for makeup free days. All other products are phenomenal and I recommend. I even use the bha on my arms for KP and this has worked better than anything. My questions are for the BP team. The last skincare I used boasts of being pure and natural and using aloe as the number one ingredient in all of their products. Like PCs ingredient encyclopedia, they have a "naughty list" of ingredients too. A few things on their list are used in PC products so I wanted to address that. Petrolatum and Propylene Glycol supposedly clog pores. Sodium Laureth Sulfate was shown to cause cancer? This is based off of a lot of reading I've done and I can't say if it's factual or not so I wanted PC/BP's point of view. I already know parabens get a bad name but PC states there is no scientific proof that it's bad.
