Comments about CALM Moisturizer for Normal to Dry Skin - 2 oz:
This moisturizer did not work for me. After several months of regular use my face began to itch after applying. Then it reddened and felt dry even though I tried to avoid rubbing. I ended up washing it off and used an alternate moisturizer from the drugstore. This is the first Paula's Choice product I have had a problem with. I hope I can find a moisturizer that benefits my skin.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Lovely, gentle basic cream to the rescue!
About Me Beauty Conscious
I have very sensitive, reactive skin and fortunately for me, this cream lives up to its claims! I purchased this cream several months ago and set it aside unopened because at the time I was using other PC moisturizers that I loved. Recently, I developed unusual sensitivity and irritation after a photo facial so I decided to incorporate this little gem into to my skincare regimen. It delivered immediately. It soothed my skin and provided the much needed moisture and ingredients to repair my skin barrier.I applied it both morning and night and after only 2 days the irritation and redness began to clear. I discovered it's also a terrific eye and neck cream. It also works beautifully with the PC Niacinamide and Retinol Boosters. So it has become a regular part of my routine now, usually at night over my PC Retinol Clinical Serum. For reference, I also use PC Clinical Ultra Rich Moisturizer and the Resist Intensive Repair Cream, alternating according to my skin's requirements.I've been using PC skincare for two decades and I wouldn't consider using anything else. I'm so pleased and grateful for the wonderful results. I get a lot of compliments on my skin & I'm often asked about my skincare. I'm always pleased to share my PC routine!

Very good for a daily use
from Dublin, Ireland
I like this moisturizer since it is not too heavy on my skin but still it gives the good amount of moisture. I use it in the morning before make up, whereas for the evening I prefer something a bit more moisturizing.

Former Moisture Boost user, switched to this when they made the transition. Had absolutely no problems (I have sensitive, acne-prone, dry skin) and somehow it feels even creamier than the Moisture Boost. Very happy with the new formula.
It's okay for around the eyes
from Portland, ME
I bought this to replace my beloved Hydralight, which was discontinued. This is definitely not a close match at all. It's too heavy to use on my whole face, so I only use it around my eyes and mouth, along with the Resist serum (magic in the dark blue tube). I'm slowly but surely making my way through the tube, but I'm just not loving it at all. Definitely won't buy again.
Delivery is always fast with Paula's!

Love This Moisturizer!
By Happy Mom
from High Point, NC
I use this moisturizer every evening after cleansing, toning, applying 2% BHA liquid and Resist Retinol Serum. This product moisturizes my face and helps tone down any redness on my pale sensitive skin that the other products can sometimes cause. It absorbs great after a few minutes but continues to moisturize my skin throughout the night. I wake up to smooth, plump, "red-free" skin each morning. It absolutely helps keep wrinkles at bay. A great find!
Jawline breaks out
from Detroit, MI
I have sensitive acne prone skin and had high hopes for this moisturizer. While it does seem to reduce the redness, it also causes my jaw line to breakout. Additionally, as I had read from other reviewers, I have a hard time blending my make up in. It seems to just sit on top of the moisturizer.
Love this moisturizer!

I love this moisturizer. I used to use the Moisture Balance one, but when that was *temporarily* discontinued, I switched to this one. The formula is very similar. It's nice and thick, but not too heavy. It makes my skin feel nice and soft after I get out of the shower, and my skin feels great by the next morning (I shower at night).

Bring Back Moisture Boost
from Wichita, KS
This formulation has something that irritates my skin and causes redness. Small little pimples pop up if I continue using it for more than a day or two. The Moisture Boost was MUCH better and my skin loved it! I'm on my last tube of the old Moisture Boost and I hope they bring it back soon!
Not a replacement for Moisture Boost
from North Dakota
This is an OK moisturizer, but certainly not a replacement for the Hydrating Treatment Cream. That was richer, better for my dry skin. I agree with another reviewer who said that the Skin Recovery is too rich (more for very dry skin), that the HTC was perfect for dry skin that didn't need the extra richness of the Skin Recovery. I doubt that I will buy this again. This didn't make my skin burn, as some reviewers experienced. Might be good for someone with combination skin. Please, please bring back the HTC!
