Very nice nighttime moisturizer
from Lansdowne. PA
About Me Beauty Conscious, Beauty Expert
I use this at night. It hydrates nicely, doesn't irritate me at all. I mix the hylouronic acid booster with it and it absorbs pretty quickly and my skin feels like silk in the morning. I really like it. I do feel however, that it is a little too greasy feeling for me if i use it in the daytime, but my skin is extremely oily anyway .
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I bought this because in the winter, my skin gets very dry from using retinol products. This product claims to calm rosacea or skin redness, and I have both. But I noticed that every time I used this moisturizer before bed, my face looked even redder when I looked in the mirror in the morning. I stopped using it last week because I was afraid it was going to mess up my skin. I have good results with most Paula's Choice products, but have not been lucky with the moisturizers in this line. I will not repurchase.

I miss Hyrdalight!
By Tree Lover
Although this is a lovely product, I had hoped it would provide similar moisturising benefits to Hydralight - it does not. It may be alright in the heat and humidity of summer, but I find it's just not enough for my skin. Hydralight was perfect! Please please please Paula - bring it back!

Not even close to Hydralight Lotion
from Atlanta, GA
I was a huge fan of the hydra light lotion, and sadly it was discontinued. This moisturizer was recommended as a substitute for hydralight, but it doesn't measure up. Hydralight was a perfect light weight lotion that seemed to contour my skin. It smoothed out lines and minimized pores...it was perfect! Please bring it back!!

can it be said enough? PLEASE BRING BACK HYDRALIGHT!
from Washington, D.C.
I used to recommend Hydralight to everyone I knew- I'd used it for years, it was THE best moisturizer for me- loved the thinner consistency, it absorbed really well but was still super moisturizing for my combination skin. This one feels and looks more like silicone, not moisturizer, and it just doesn't feel like it quenches my skin's thirst as well. I don't like the consistency, feel and I don't feel it makes an improvement in my skins moisture levels- I used Hydralight day and night (with additional serums) always made my skin look plump and moist. Not this- too bad I'm back searching for a new moisturizer. Will PC consider bringing Hydralight back?
No substitute for Hydralight
from Chicago, IL
About Me Beauty Expert
This was unfortunately no substitute for the Hydralight moisturizer, which was perfect. I tried several samples of this and it was somehow both too greasy/heavy and not moisturizing enough. It's a huge disappointment that the Hydralight moisturizer was discontinued, and not brought back with the sunscreen and cleanser.
Please bring back Hydralight lotion
from Bay Area
It did not irritate my skin. I tried using this moisturizer in my morning routine, then apply my sunscreen on top. But it is not moisturizing enough. The Hydralight lotion I used had more moisture. Hydralight lotion was my perfect summer routine night time moisturizer and winter routine day time moisturizer. Please bring the Hydralight lotion back!

Still not sure about this moisturizer- a bit heavy
About Me Minimalist
I've tried this for a few weeks now and it still is a bit heavy for oily skin...even in winter time. I have sensitive skin and can break out with too much moisturizer. It will do for now but I'll have to find something else for summer. I mainly use this at bed time and once and a while during the day.

Not as good as Hydralight Lotion
About Me Beauty Conscious, Minimalist, Prefers Fragrance-free
I have normal to oily skin that's also sensitive and suffering from rosacea. I love the Hydralight line and used the Hydralight lotion, during the cooler months, when I am a bit drier. (During the hot summer months, I'm sometimes able to switch to the Skin Balancing Gel.) This replacement product does not work for me. It made me itch, break out and despite it's name also made the redness caused by rosacea worse. Please bring back the Hydralight lotion! :(
