Comments about CALM SPF 30 Moisturizer for Normal to Dry Skin - 2 oz:
This product is the first one to NOT turn my skin red upon contact. I've used all types of "for sensitive skin" moisturizers and all have made my skin red....until this. It felt great going on. No redness, no greasy feeling, no unnatural look. I love it!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Worst moisturizer ever!
from San Antonio, Texas
About Me Beauty Conscious
I really wanted to like this moisturizer because of the lightweight and non-greasy texture, plus it has SPF. Unfortunately, it did not moisturize at all! It stung and made my face red! Which is contrary to its 'redness relief' claim. I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and some dry patches around my nose and mouth area. I loved their moisture boost hydrating treatment cream and its too bad they discontinued it! I was really disappointed in this product and now i'm left with super dry areas that are enhanced with the make up I use. I would not recommend this product.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Love this product!
This daytime moisturizer with SPF is perfect for my extra-sensitive skin. I have issues with dryness, breakouts, and redness. This is the first SPF product that I use daily without fail. It is particularly helpful in evening out my skin tone, calming redness, and combating super sensitivity. I love it.

Amazing for dry skin
Um, I'm obsessed with this. I've been using it for like 3 weeks daily after very carefully adding into my routine. I'm pretty breakout prone, as in most products including makeup will bring about at least 1 pimple, usually multiple tiny ones on my cheeks and chin. This miraculously does not do that and for that reason alone, it gets 5 stars. I just love how easy it is to blend and that there's no white cast or feeling of over-moisturizing. I can layer it underneath makeup and have the peace of mind knowing I have sun protection with a mineral sunscreen. I searched far and wide for this bad boy and I'm very happy I've finally found a mineral SPF that suits my skin type. It has replaced the DE Umbra SPF which I wanted to love but was just NOT good for multiple reasons. Oh and I got my husband this one for normal/oily skin and he uses it daily and loves it. He's on his second tube.

Irritated my sensitive skin
I have very sensitive skin, and mild rosacea, to the point where I struggle to find a moisturizer that doesn't cause irritation. I like the consistensy and moisturizing abilities of this one. It leaves my skin looking healthy and glowing. But it causes really bad irritation on me, theres a faint tingling when I first put it on, and within an hour or two my skin is burning hot and irritated.

The Opposite of Calm!
from Raleigh, NC
I bought this to replace my usual moisturizer + SPF (Moisture Boost SPF 30 - which I had been using daily for the past year) since it's been discontinued. I was expecting to love this new product, but sadly that was not the case. My skin started to break out a few days after using it, but I kept using it anyway since I thought it must have been from something else. I ended up breaking out in 7 places on my face, after having had clear skin for months before! I stopped using this and I'm back to being blemish-free, but without a daily sunscreen. Please bring back the Moisture Boost products!

Wonderful, but takes long to sink in
I do love how this moisturiser feel on my skin once it settles!! It makes it super soft and my dry to very dry skin is loving it. But it takes a while for it to sink in, about an hour for me. I need to wait long until I can put my make up on. The formula is a bit difficult to work with, sticky. BUT that being said, it is an amazing product once it has sunk in. I am moisturised throughout the day and it makes my make up look flawless!

Love the way it smells

About Me Minimalist
This is a great option for a mineral sunscreen. It's not very moisturizing so I layer it with other products. But it accomplishes just what I need it to - SPF! And most Paula products don't have a smell and this does from the cucumber so I prefer it over the resist daily moisturizer with mineral SPF.
Dries out my skin so it looks terrible
from Mississauga, ON
I like this product in theory but it really dries out my skin and within an hour my pores are clogged and my skin is flaking.

I must admit that I was upset when I tried to order Moisture Boost Daily Restoring Complex and was told that it was discontinued. But the good news is that new product that I chose as a substitute, Calm Redness Relief SPF 30 Mineral Moisturizer is even better. This new product goes on easily and controls my oily areas while moisturizing my dryer areas--it's just magic. I don't have rosacea but this product evens out the color in my skin. Thank you PC for continuing to improve on your products even though I thought they were already great.
