Not a Replacement for Resist Cellular Defense Daily SPF 25
About Me Beauty Conscious
Comments about CALM SPF 30 Moisturizer for Normal to Dry Skin - 2 oz:
I have dry, fair and sensitive skin. I have used the Resist Cellular Defense Daily Moisturizer SPF 25 for quite some time. This product is not available and the Calm Redness Relief SPF 30 was recommended. The Redness Relief stung when I put it on and did not moisturize like I need. My skin felt tight and dry. My foundation looked splotchy and I had patches of dry spots. Adding more or the Redness Relief caused my skin to sting so much that I had to wash my face.
Service and delivery comments:

My everyday sunscreen
About Me Beauty Conscious, Minimalist
I use this usually right after cleansing my face so it does get absorbed pretty quickly. I agree with some of the other reviews, it could be a bit more moisturizing. But if you give your skin a few to take it in, it's good.
Delivery is always on time if not early.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

My new daily moisturizer...
from Chicago, IL
About Me Beauty Expert
I have been using this since the Resist Cellular Defense Daily Moisturizer SPF 25 was discontinued a few months ago, and have fallen in love with it. While it's not quite as moisturizing as the former, it's surprisingly moisture-rich (not all of us like a "light," oil free lotion- even in summer months!!), and spreads beautifully. It has a lovely fresh fragrance, without being overpowering, and so far, I'm incredibly pleased with it. I will definitely continue to purchase- at least until the revamped Resist is introduced!
Great sun protection, just not exactly moisturizing.
from Ventura, CA
I have very sensitive skin and can only use mineral sun protection products. I enjoy this product and will repurchase, however I don't think this product lives up to ALL of its claims so I did not rate this a complete 5 star. I have normal to dry skin, and I don't find this product to be moisturizing enough for me. If I layer this product over a moisturizer than it works fine. Also I find that this doesn't play well with foundation. It's not the worst I've seen under makeup by any means, but I definitely need to layer on a primer before going in with foundation. All in all, it doesn't irritate my skin, it sinks in relatively quick, it definitely keeps my skin sun protected, and it's a great value. For that, I will buy again. But I don't agree with this being suitable for 'Dry' skin on its own.
About Me Minimalist
This is the best mineral sunscreen on the market. I feel qualified to say so because I have tried so many. I can't use chemical, unfortunately, because they all sting my eyes (I've tried every variety). I also have dry skin. Everything else I've tried is either too white or too drying or both. This is perfect. If you're oily skinned this may not work for you but otherwise, you will be happy with this.

I love this product and use it all the time in the summer - but in the cold winters it is drying and therefore ageing and so I think it should be for normal skin - not normal to dry. Zinc is a really drying product for me. In years past I switch to the Resist SPF25 in the winter because it only had titanium dioxide in it and it worked great as a daily moisturisig spf product for me in the winter but that has been discontinued so I have tried this product again but it really is drying in the cold winters. I hope a moisturising mineral spf product will become availablel on PC soon ... it is hard to find one.
My new go to sunscreen
This has become my new Sunscreen. Ive tried numerous sunscreens and not really been totally happy with any until I found this. It doesn't irritate my face, and it does moisturize my face.Glad I gave it a try, very happy with it.
Needs More Oomph!

I totally agree with previous comments about this product not being suitable for dry skin. I need to augment this with Resist's Moisture Renewal Oil Booster in order to get the comfort level needed.
Irritating for my sensitive skin
from Ottawa, ON
I was hoping for a great moisturizer but it's not the best for me. It's not moisturizing for me and stings on application, especially in my sensitive areas which is the lower half of the face, below the nose. I've learned by now that when it stings, later my skin will get red and peel. It was one of the first products from the PC line I tried. I ended up relying on Resist serum (which is amazing! 5 stars) and another non-irritation moisturizer for sensitive eczema/rosacea skin (a different line from PC and scored high on beautipedia), which unfortunately doesn't have sunscreen in it. So I still apply CALM (but very lightly) after the other products, so it is more diluted, just to get the sunscreen benefits. I may do better with skin recovery moisturizer but this time will try a sample first.
Delivery was prompt and very convenient.
Chalky and ruins makeup application
from Papillion, NE
About Me Beauty Expert, Skin Care Professional
I really wanted to like this and do love select PC products. However, I have a list of cons and unfortunately discontinue using this product. I bought in the kit so I don't think I'll even be able to return it (I have not reached out to customer service).- Hard to rub in. It feels thick and like I'm really pulling my skin in order to get the white cast to go away. This makes my face beet red. - Chalky. If you have dry patches, this will dry them out more.- Looks HORRIBLE under makeup. It's streaky and will make your makeup streaky to the point where you can't even blend. I've had this problem before with physical sunscreen.
