Comments about CALM SPF 30 Moisturizer for Normal to Oily Skin - 2 oz:
Got a sample of this and I kind of like it. It smooths out great, it's moisturizing and it doesn't make me look too ashen, although I didn't apply a lot. I didn't get any breakouts, however, since I only used a sample I'm not sure how my skin would react to mineral sunscreen in the long run. It is very "shiny" so I had to blot some of it off. It's not too heavy but I can feel that I'm wearing it. It doesn't get rid of redness either. I don't know if I would recommend this to anyone since it's not my favourite but I would buy it in the future-on a discount price.

NOT a good replacement for the hydralight mineral sunscreen
from Los Angeles, CA
About Me Beauty Conscious
I purchased this sunscreen as a replacement for the hydralight since my skin in sensitive and needs a mineral sunscreen. In that area it does well; however, the texture is runny which makes it messy to apply and it is NOT great for combo/oily skin as it stays shiny/greasy all day. I had to blot within minutes and consistently or else I shine all day, even with matte powder on top. While it's not irritating to my skin, it's irritating to ME and I just can't use or recommend it!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

About Me Minimalist
I have combo/dehydrated skin and my skin drinks this up. It's for better use at night, though. This greases up my T-zone a bit, but for my dry areas it's heavenly. It helped reduce redness, even out my tone and soften up my skin.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
not for me
It has a lotion texture and is really runny (runs right out of the tube). It feels heavy and greasy yet isn't moisturizing enough. It makes me look really white and catches on dry patches. There are formulas I like better and at cheaper prices.
New favorite Paula sunscreen
from New York, NY
I use this every single day before going out. It is honestly great. I feel like it really helped clear up my skin and it sits very well on my face. I find that it does an amazing job of not being greasy-- especially considering it is a mineral based sunscreen. It can leave you looking a little pale if you use too much and I definitely think it has given me more blackheads on my nose-- but has not caused any sort of breakouts. It has an odd smell by the end of the day, not a bad one, just... interesting. Otherwise, my only complaint is that it is not waterproof and mineral based screens wash off really easily and walking around the city this summer has shown me that.

Great for Sensitive Skin, but....
By Shannon with Sensitive Skin
I bought this product because chemical SPFs irritate my very sensitive skin. Most moisturizers I have tried in the past also are too greasy and cause breakouts or make up melt off. This product was excellent for redness relief, was not greasy at all, and did not irritate my skin or make me break out, but it wasn't quite moisturizing enough. I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, but I think I will try the moisturizer for normal to dry skin as this one left me with dry patches. Because it is so hard to find products for my sensitive skin, I'm not ready to give up on it yet :) Hopefully the dry skin moisturizer will fit my needs!
Not for all sensitive skin types
from Leesburg, VA
I purchased this product when my Resist Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid was out of stock and I had high hopes for it. Unfortunately, I wasn't careful enough while reading the ingredients label and didn't notice that aloe is one of the ingredients. For many sensitive skin types, aloe is great but my skin hates it. This product gave me painful red bumps all over my face. It was also slightly thicker than I'd like and was difficult to blend over the skin, though it did not leave a white cast on me (I am very fair). It felt somewhat heavy without ever feeling moisturizing. This one is a no-go for me but I think a lot of combo/oily sensitive skin people might like it--just be careful to check the ingredients list before you buy!

Did not like this stuff at all. It was very greasy. I could feel it on my face all day. I don't like that. I sent it back.

Uuuuugh. This was suggested as a replacement to another moisturizer they used to carry, honestly don't remember which, but uuuuuuuuuuugh. I love everything else I've gotten from PC but this is awful. Hard to blend in, heavy, greasy, makes you super shiny, and doesn't do a darn thing for any redness or skin tone other than make me break out more and feel like I wiped my face with a butter pad.

The only mineral SPF moisturizer that doesn't irritate my skin. Calm SPF 30 feels like perfection. It's light, but provides adequate moisture. It's not greasy, because it soaks in completely. The white cast fades quickly and isn't noticeable once I put on my tinted moisturizer. The only thing that could possibly make this better is a tinted formula.
