I am so happy I found this line! I have been struggling with adult acne for the past few years, and it has been devastating. From never having acne as a teen, it really is hard to deal with as an adult. Changing diets, organic lines, specialized facials, and dermatology did nothing. Finally I found PC and Clear online, and my life and face are completely turned around. My skin is healthy, almost totally bump-free, and awesome, and my outlook is good. The mattifying lotion rocks as well! Thanks!!

I tried PC's rosacea lines first, with some, but not enough, improvement, and hesitated to try this one because I was sure it would be too harsh for my aging, extremely sensitive, blemish- and rosacea-plagued skin. Finally took a chance on the sample kit. So glad I did! The cleanser doesn't dry me out, the exfoliating solution keeps most zits away (and means I don't need a separate toner). I can even use the benzoyl peroxide cream without irritation. For the first time in ages, I like my skin.

I wasn't expecting miracles with my moderate acne and blackheads but this skin care system has made my break outs even worse. I gave the products a solid chance, approximately 2 months, and the results have only been more disappointing. I love Paula's products and heed her advice, but this system didn't work for me.

This cleared up my skin without drying it out, without using alcohol, and has a wonderful cleanser that you can use to remove makeup. I can even eat chocolate again, which I was unable to do for 5 years.

I've suffered with acne for 10 years, bad cystic acne. I've tried vegan diets, antibiotics, accutane - EVERYTHING. At first when I used this PC line I was impatient but after 3 months of continuous use, my skin has NEVER been this clear. I also used the BHA 9, which made my skin flake off at first, but I am so impressed! Be patient and follow the directions. I still have a lot of scarring, but only 2 or 3 blemishes at a time, all w/o nasty antibiotic side effects. This is worth it!

I had results with the BHA Gel so I thought I'd try these three hoping that it'd improve my skin. I've been using it for three weeks now and my skin has actually gotten worse. I used the cleansing treatment (at first) every night because I knew my skin would probably get irritated if I used it more than once a day. After the third day I decided to use it every other day. Then I just stopped because my acne was becoming intensely red due to the dryness. No better results with face wash and toner.

This product has really been improving my skin! I ordered the trial kit, and it lasted me about 3 weeks, and now I am waiting for the full size! I do not have perfect skin, but this is definitely making a difference little by little. My skin tone is evening out, and the redness has been drastically reduced! I experienced some dryness the first week, but once I started using the skin balancing moisturizer the problem was fixed! I am so happy to go out without makeup again!!! :D

After years of adult cystic acne, I finally found a blemish system that really works. PC Clear Extra Strength does dry out my skin, but after two weeks of following the steps, I introduced the Moisture Boost Hydrating Treatment Cream for Dry Skin. I also now only dot on the Benzoyl Peroxide. Don't give up the first month or two! Your skin might react, and might get dry, but just keep with the system! Six months later, and I am about 90% clear (I used to be 50% or less). Thank you PC!

I have very sensitive skin that's prone to redness, and this system not only clears up the acne and redness on my face but it also soothes my razor burn. My face is no longer bright red. I still get a few red blemishes but it's nothing like I used to get, and shaving is no longer a scratchy chore afterwards. The only thing I deviated from with this system is just once in the morning. Twice left my face too dry, particularly my forehead.

I was so hopeful this system would work for me, but it made my skin worse than ever. I started out with the Extra Strength trial - used that for 10 days. Made my skin break out, especially on my chin! I had the deepest acne I had had in years. I thought maybe my acne was flaring because the system was too drying, so I used cleanser morning and night, and the exfoliation and clearing treatment X 1 a day. I also ordered the regular strength trial & had similar results - acne popping up all over.

I am 27 years old and never really had any acne issues as a teenager until now. I tried microdermabrasions, chemical peels and extractions. I have been using this line for about a week with the weekly resurfacing treatment and my skin has improved drastically! My acne is clearing up! :) redness is going away and my skin is starting to even out. I love this product! It works!

I tend to suffer from stubborn breakouts. The last system that I used (Proactiv) was WAY too irritating and drying for my skin, but I knew that Paula's Choice was right for me. I had high hopes that this would work. I've been using this system for 3 weeks now with no improvement to my acne. In fact, my acne has gotten worse. The reason that this gets 2 stars is because of the EXCELLENT costumer service and the fact that this doesn't irritate my skin. Maybe the Extra Strength is for me?

My skin gets improved with this! I have used this for 2-week now and I will use consistently! For a combination and a acne skin, I recommend using this with Skin Balance Moistures! By then, you can avoid somewhat dry feeling~ I was SO plagued by acne under my chin and on neck... It makes them gone for 2-wk! A bit left so far but I am expecting they will be gone soon~ Thank YOU and kind customer services with providing their suggestions! <3

This is my 3rd week using this system and I don't even have to wear make-up any more. I still have some acne scares, but they are becoming lighter as each week goes by. I use twice a day with no moturizer, but i have oily skin. If you have dry or normal skin, you might feel like your face is dry so maybe consider a oil free moturizer. I also use a clarisonic brush not a wash rag. Good amount of product in the bottles, still on my 1st purchase. Reasonable price. Definetly recomment this product.

I started off using the 2-week trial set and upgraded to this full set after a week. I've used it for about a month, and while I'm not completely clear, I have noticed a reduction in blackheads and cystic acne. My skin is also quite soft, and the formula does not irritate my skin. It's also wonderful that it came with the blotting papers. I'm going to give this set a few more months, and if it seems my skin has "plateaued," I will try the extra strength. I never had an acne problem until I hit my late 20's/early 30's, then I found myself always having at least 3-4 zits on my face at all times - big red zits. After trying almost every drugstore brand, prescriptions from a dermatologist, a few "high-end" department store lines, and even Proactiv, I had all but given up. Then I saw glowing reviews for Paula's Choice on an acne product review website and thought I'd give yet another product a try. I have been using the regular strength CLEAR pore line with the Moisture Boost Hydrating Treatment Cream at night and went 3 WEEKS WITHOUT A SINGLE ZIT, then ONLY 1 ZIT DURING PMS (usually my worst time for acne). I AM AMAZED by this product and how it's made my skin look and feel. Even the fine lines beginning around my eyes have lessened. I LOVE THIS LINE - that it's great for my acne and great for anti-aging as well. I do recommend the regular line over the extra-strength, which is what I tried first. The extra-strength was very drying and I didn't like the feel of it on my skin.

I was buying products at the drugstore to treat my 11 year old daughter's acne. I also had terrible acne as a teen, and that's where I first found Paula, back in her Blue Eye Shadow Should Be Illegal days. I ordered the trial kit and was shocked at how well in worked on her skin. It has really reduced the irritation and inflammation, especially the Anti-Redness Exfoliant. I have struggled with my skin for a long time and was in and out of the dermatologist's office for many years. It was very frustrating because none of the prescriptions were working. A co-worker told me about this line and I was very skeptical but decided to try it out. My skin after two months of using the CLEAR system is completely clear for the first time in my life. It truly has been a godsend.

Great system if it does work with your skin, I however have been using this system for over 7 months with less than dramatic results. It helps with my acne but it's so drying! My skin is normally combination/oily but after I use this it gets super dry even after I apply my skin balancing moisturizers. I'm thinking about trying a heavier moisturizer but won't that clog my pores? Customer Care Response: Thank you for your review. On the endless search for a good cleanser, I accidentally found Beautypedia and ordered a sample of this cleanser. Instant improvement. Good for removing makeup AND I like using it every time. (That never happens - usually I get disenchanted with a cleanser's performance and begin to look for a better one. Using 9 months with no plans to change .. ever.) After a while, that led me to try the exfoliating toner - hooked. Better skin, really. Finally I broke down - systems *never* work - tried the Benzoyl Peroxide - key. Great skin. I mistakenly went without this for several weeks - I'm not cured, but as long as I use this, I have perfect skin - no foundation necessary. Thanks for great skin, Paula and Team! One request: please make the 2-week packaging in travel-worthy containers. While the new packaging is genius for dispensing, the Exfoliating liquid leaks during travel. I've been using these products (in their various incarnations) for the last 10 years. Without them, my oily, acne prone skin would be a total mess. Ancillary benefit: I think it's helped prevent wrinkles,too. I just turned 40 and haven't had any problems with lines around my eyes or mouth. But, then again, I also use an SPF on my face every day.

This has been a life saver...realllllllllllllllly helps my skin. the only thing is i wish the cream came witha flip top and i run out of toner to fast =(....but its worth the price tag.=)

I ordered the sample sized set right befor Hurricane Sandy hit my area. When the power went out for over a week, I used that time to really give this set a test drive. I barely looked at my face during that week, since there were no lights. I used it diligently twice a day. And when the power finally came back on after 8 days, I was sooooo pleased with my skin! I have super oily, hormonal skin with lots of blackheads for this system to work on. I tried Proactiv---it just didn't work for me. I tried Perricone (super expensive!) but it didn't come close to the results I get with Paula's Choice. I tried Dr. Brandt...same deal, no real results. I'm crazy about this system!!! And, if you try it out via the sample sized set (or travel sized set, I suppose)...if you're judicious with it, it can actually last at least a month (mine lasted nearly 6 weeks!) Just pour a little of the toner in the palm of your hand and apply it directly (instead of using a cotton round) and it'll last and last! I've finally used up my sample set and of COURSE ordered the full size set. This one hits it out of the park!!!

I bought this entire line and it made my skin worse! If you are like me, please try the Resist BHA 9! It's done more for my acne than all the prescription medications and regimens I've tried in the past 16 years. Two stars are for the cleanser portion of this system, which is actually fantastic and doesn't overly dry my already dry skin. I'm convinced the cleanser is a part of my success.
