About Me Beauty Conscious
Comments about CLEAR Regular Strength Acne Treatment with 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide - 2.25 oz:
I'd been using a Benzoyl Peroxide product from Daisy MD with good results for my stubborn acne. But when they almost DOUBLED their already very steep prices, I sought out an alternative and am so happy that I found this. Not only is it one tenth of the price of the Daisy MD cream, and just as effective, it's also less drying and I prefer the consistency. I'm so tired of cosmetic companies ripping desperate people off, so thank you Paula's Choice for standing out!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

About Me Skin Care Professional
Unfortunately I should of bought the 5%! The 2.5 doesn't do much for my breakouts. It does work great on small bumps. I put a light layer on any areas I have some & overnight they are gone. This really helps if any new products might have clogged my pores a bit. If it's not an exfoliating day, I'll just put this on the area. I love that this has a matte finish. I've never tried any spot treatments that were matte enough for my oily skin.

An essential for anybody with acne-prone skin!
from New Jersey, USA
When choosing which products to get from the Clear line, I chose this over the 5% benzoyl peroxide because I have such sensitive skin, and let me tell you, this stuff does not irritate my skin at all. It has worked amazingly well on all of my acne and spots, and has helped to prevent scarring as well. I use this product after I cleanse, tone, and exfoliate, and I only put it on the spots where I am most prone to acne (which is my T-zone and hairline). The rest of my skin is too sensitive for the benzoyl peroxide, but that honestly doesn't make a difference since I don't get acne in those places anyway! This is an essential product in any skincare routine if you are looking to prevent and treat acne!

Enjoyable BP treatment
from Alberta, Canada
This is a surprising benzoyle peroxyde treatment. The texture is really different than anything else I have tried (drug store stuff, prescription cream, Clinique BP treatment etc.). Normally, those creams dries to be really stiff and dry on the skin and are not really easy to apply. This one glides on beautifully and dries to a satin finish. It is also easy to add a moisturizer on top, an a little goes a long way ! The amount of product in the bottle is quite good for the price (compared to the Clear BHA liquid that goes away really fast). I know that for me, BP really works well on acne, ans this one is no exception, but now I found one that is more cosmetically attractive, as opposed to the other ones that were focusing only on the treatment, not the experience. Thanks for this amazing product Paula ! :)
Service and delivery comments:
It was the first time I was ordering PC products, and it got here in 5 days wich is great because it has to cross the borders.

The best BP on the market
from Ann Arbor, MI
About Me Minimalist
I battled acne for 20 years. Yes, 20. I tried prescriptions, drugstore stuff, expensive department store and online pricey stuff, and NOTHING has cleared my skin like Paula's Choice. I started using the CLEAR system about 3 years ago and finally, FINALLY, after 20 years, I wake up with clear skin. Every day. I still get the very occasional and rare monthly monster, usually on my forehead or chin. But with PC products it clears up very quickly, quicker than ever before. This is the best BP product I've ever used. Goes on silky, dries quickly, doesn't overdry my skin. My only comment on this is the packaging. A flip top would be much preferred over the twist off. When I put some on my finger, I then have to set the bottle down otherwise I risk dropping the cream onto my counter or the floor. Then I apply the cream, twist the top back on, etc. I'd rather just flip the top closed and be done.

GREAT FOR CLEARING UP ACNE/BREAKOUTS
from Peoria, AZ
Clear is the appropriate name for this. My derma. gave me doxycycline for my huge cyst between my brows (reaction from another PC product SB BHA 2% Liq.) but turned out I was allergic because tiny red bumps appeared all over my face. She then prescribed 2.5% hydrocortisone cream which broke me out even more/worst(whiteheads/pustules/papules). Yes I lost my mind, nearly forgot about my huge cyst. But, this BP saved my entire face. Panicked by what's happened I use this against my derma's instructions which was to just stop the cream & use only gentle cleanser, no BHA's no BP's etc (good thing I bought a sample size before & had this on deck). I kept cleaning my face with my regular anti-bacterial cleanser not PC (I've been using since I was a kid & has been the only reason I have kept acne at bay). Then applied Olay Regenerist serum which I've also been using for years as my light moisturizer. I then spread this BP all over my face because I wanted to have a buffer between my clean skin & BP just in case I was allergic to it since this was my first time using it. I did this day & night & within a week my face was clear again. So thankful this BP worked in conjunction with my other 2 products I mentioned. It did dry out my skin but as soon I stopped using it when my face cleared, the dryness wasn't an issue anymore. Unexpectedly love this now & I still even have a little bit left in the sample size. My huge cyst is still there but my derma. will be chopping it off since (steroid injections didn't work on it). Will post review on that product next

It works and it isn't expensive!
I have acne prone skin due to PCOS and nothing except epiduo was working for me. When I no longer had a prescription I went on a hunt for a product that would work. Nothing from the drug store that you could buy over the counter worked for me. Everything was too harsh, would strip my skin and make my acne WORSE. Then I got wind of Paula's Choice. Her products changed my skin. I use Retinol at night, and a hydrating mask. I used clinical redness control for my sensitive skin and acne control after every face wash. My skin is changing so much, my scars are fading and I haven't had a new pimple in days - that's a big deal for me. My black heads have also been reduced and I have to use less make up to cover up. I'm so grateful this actually works, doesn't irritate and isn't going to break the bank. Paula, I want to be your spokeswoman!

Cleared up my acne and oily skin
from Lake City, FL
Cannot believe I found this product. After a couple of days, my skin went from oily, inflamed papule acne (no puss inside), to clear skin. After years of using Dermatologist recommended products (expensive I may add) for my semi-sensitive and combo skin, Benzoyl Peroxide is my holy grail! I use it after I wash my face, and wait a little while to apply my moisturizer. My skin is clearer than ever before, and I am so thankful to have found PC skincare! If you are embarrassed about your acne, red bumps, or oil, please please use this!!
To Drying For All-Over Use...
This product came with my purchase of the Regular Strength Trial Kit. I applied this only to my acne-prone areas twice & it lead to me having dry skin like I have never experienced before. Alligator-type drying which took over 5 days to resolve. I will use this as a spot treatment only when I feel a blemish coming on.

I use this every night
from Chicago, IL
I'm 58, but I use this product every night on my nose, chin and forehead, which can still break out. It is not too drying and works well as a preventive product. One thing I've never understood is why they don't post the product expiration date on the web site, like they do for every other product that has an expiration date.
