HOLY GRAIL STATUS

Comments about CLEAR Regular Strength Acne Kit - Complete Kit:
Paula's Choice acne products are literally the only products that have ever cleared up my skin. I use the Pore Normalizing Cleanser, the Regular Strength 2% BHA, and alternate between the Extra Strength 5% BP treatment and the Regular Strength 2.5% BP treatment (I use the 5% on active breakouts and 2.5% as maintenance all over my face). I use these in conjunction with their Skin Balancing Pore Reducing Toner, which I think has also had a huge effect on the clarity of my skin. If I get lazy and don't use these products for a few days or if I try something else, I always come rushing back to my normal PC routine because my skin looks so much clearer and overall healthier when I use their products. Also, THEY DON'T TEST ON ANIMALS!!! That just makes me love and trust PC even more.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I will never buy this again.

I tried this kit because I had been breaking out recently, and my friend recommended it. This was probably the worst mistake I made in terms of skin care choice. My skin seemed to be getting a bit better during the first few days (I was using it twice a day) but after 5 days of use, it got really bad. I had been ignoring the fact that my face burned every time I used it because I really wanted to get rid of my acne, but I can't ignore the massive breakout I had. My face has never looked this bad in my entire life. I have big red blotchy pimples all over my face, and small tiny bumps literally everywhere. I am so self-conscious and uncomfortable because they are so obvious! I look like a high school girl going through puberty, and I am 22 years-old!!! Not only did my skin breakout because of this treatment, but my skin won't stop flaking! I am constantly moisturizing my skin at least once every 2 hours because it's that bad. It is disgusting and embarrassing, and I'm really upset about it. I am never using this product again, and I don't recommend it to anyone.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The ONLY product that has ever worked.
from Toronto, Canada
I have tried so many different "acne solutions" and took a chance on this set. I didn't have a ton of acne, but experienced regular hormonal breakouts and whiteheads around my jaw and mouth. I have very sensitive and combination skin that was always tricky to deal with. This set is the only thing that I have ever tried where I have seen a serious difference. Since using these products, I maybe get one or two small pimples around my period and that's it, and they go away within a day of using the spot cream. I feel comfortable not wearing foundation because my skin is so great. If you're having trouble finding something that works - TRY THIS. I'm incredibly happy with these products and won't use anything else.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery is always really quick and I like getting samples. :)

I've purchased both the extra and regular strength versions of Clear and saw no real difference between the two in terms of effectiveness. After using all 3 products for awhile, I now only use the salicylic acid exfoliant. I stopped using the cleanser after the FDA banned triclosan (the antibacterial ingredient in the cleanser), and the benzoyl peroxide solution dries my skin out, stings, and bleaches fabrics. I still use a Paula's product as my cleanser: I have used both Hydralight and the Skin Balancing Oil Reducing cleanser. Both work well for me. Using one of these cleansers along with the salicylic acid is effective for me at controlling breakouts. It's cheaper, too.

Let me start with explaining that I am a 19 year old teen with the normal teen acne. I used to go to the dermatologist and they prescribed me pills for my acne but, I was told I was not allowed to take them after a year so... back to acne. I've tried everything and then I found this. Within the first two weeks my acne started to clear up. Within the first three months cystic acne stopped appearing and now i'm on my sixth month of use. I use the Clear Kit alongside the Skin Balancing SPF Moisturizer in the morning and the Resist Triple Action Dark Spot AHA Eraser at night. My skin is soft smooth and acne free. Give time and the results will come. They are magic!

Red itchy skin
I have been using the 2% BHA exfoliant for a while now and love it. I recently had a bad break out from stress and diet and decided to switch to this regime for a period of time. After using this for 2 days, my skin constantly felt itchy, especially the sides of my face. There was an almost bumpy appearance to it. It felt slightly swollen on the sides as well. I couldn't figure out what it was. I then realized I had switched my facial regime. I washed all of the products from this off my face, put back my normal moisturizer and prayed for the best. It took 2 days for the itching to go away and am back to just using the exfoliant with other products I use. Not for me!

I can't feel the process of it.
I just bought this product and been using it for over a week now. Not sure if it will getting better or not but I can't see any noticeable difference after 7 days used. And I can't see any red reduce also even I am strictly following the steps both AM & PM.
The package delivered on time, neat and well packed.

About Me 25-34, Combination skin, Olive skin
I'm in my 30s and started breaking out after going off birth control in my late 20s. I started seeing a dermatologist, who prescribed me probably five different prescriptions over three years. Some of them worked a bit, but nothing worked well enough for me to go more than a week or so without a new, painful zit. Finally, after the prescriptions got too expensive for me to continue, even with insurance, I thought I'd give Paula's Choice Clear collection a try.I have been incredibly and pleasantly surprised by how well this has worked for me. In about a month and a half, my skin has very noticeably cleared up to the point where I am comfortable leaving the house without foundation/concealer again.Unlike many people with acne, I do not have particularly oily skin, so I'm always wary of products that dry me out excessively, but this doesn't seem to do that. I use it in combination with RESIST Ultra-Light Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum during the day and SKIN BALANCING Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum With Retinol at night.

Teen loves the fact that it works, when she uses it.

About Me Mother Of A Hormonal Teen
My teen had red juicy pimples on her cheeks, chin, forehead, nose and when she uses it diligently it clears up.Bought the CLEAR Regular Strength Anti-Redness Exfoliating Solution with 2% Salicylic Acid & CLEAR Extra Strength Daily Skin Clearing Treatment separately to try it. My daughter previously tried the Extra Strength Anti-Redness Exfoliating lotion but it dried her skin too much so we switched her to Regular Strength which turned out to be just right. She uses SKIN BALANCING Oil-Reducing Cleanser instead of the CLEAR Pore Normalizing Cleanser because we are wary of the Triclosan in it. A teenager's hormones are disrupted enough on their own without any extra outside help from Triclosan. The FDA ruled on Sept. 2, 2016 and announced that Triclosan, a toxic chemical ingredient associated with hormone disruption in people, will no longer be allowed in antibacterial hand soaps & body washes. However, THE RULING DOES NOT COVER ACNE PRODUCTS, yet. Logic does not follow well in that ruling. Skin is skin and it absorbs toxins the same way despite what part is exposed the toxin. Guess Acne products have better lobbyists.Wish Paula's Choice would make the choice to replace Triclosan with another antibacterial agent that's not a known hormone disrupter so we can feel good about buying all 3 products in the line.I have been using Paula's Choice Products for 10 years with great results, so I was happy to get my teen to use it too.
