This didn't work for me

About Me Minimalist
Comments about CLINICAL Ultra-Rich Moisturizer - 2 oz:
I have very dry skin and used to use the Moisture Boost line, which worked very well for me. This product didn't work so well - it sort of just sat on top of my skin and made my face feel sweaty. I didn't notice much of a positive difference in terms of dryness with this product, either. If you're going to use this, use it at night before bed - it doesn't work under makeup (too thick). I've been a loyal Paula's Choice fan for years but I'm now looking to other companies for moisturizer alternatives, unfortunately.

Thick and Pore-Clogging

About Me Beauty Conscious
This was my first purchase from Paula's Choice, and after hearing so many good things about this brand from magazines and beauty pros, I decided to give this moisturizer a try in my never-ending quest for an adequate nighttime cream for my dry, hypersensitive skin.Unfortunately, this cream was too occlusive and clogged my pores, causing me to break out! It feels horribly greasy, and it doesn't spread or absorb well on the face. I gave it two stars instead of one because it's fragrance free, and the quality of the ingredients seems to be good. But you just can't throw every single moisturizing ingredient known to man into a cream and expect it to work!TL;DR: Lots of nice ingredients; terrible, heavy formulation.
Holy smokies buy this right now
I grew up in West Texas; I know dry skin. Living in Maine I'm constantly plagued by dry, itchy skin and this stuff is absolutely the only thing that keeps my dehydrated, winter skin happy. Use as directed - last step of skincare routine. It's stellar.

Lifesaver for Winter Skin
from Upstate NY
I have dry, ecxema prone skin. With winter in full swing here in the Northeast, my cheeks have been red, irritated with raised dry, flaky patches. This moisturizer is the only thing that has helped. It absorbs quickly, is wonderfully emollient and its ingredients do not aggravate my ecxema. I put on a generous amount as my last step in my nighttime routine and wake up with soft skin. I personally like the thick texture, but for anyone who doesn't have very dry skin this will be too much. I only wish Paula made a version of this for daytime with sunscreen.

About Me Beauty Conscious, Minimalist
I loved the old ultra rich moisturizer in the jar. It wasn't the ideal packaging but it worked really really well used at night to keep my hands from cracking ( no small thing for a nurse ) and I loved the very light fragrance The tube packaging was a bust but might have worked if the opening was larger. This stuff works OK but I dislike the smell so I've been using the Vaseline with cocoa butter ( smelled fine but was super greasy ) or Eucerin ointment ( super greasy but no noticeable smell ) I recently tried the new Aveeno lotion with the light coconut scent. The fragrance is noticeably there but not bad. Unfortunately, it is a lotion and while it's good on the kitchen sink, it isn't heavy enough for my overnight hand treatment. I wish you'd bring the old stuff back ( heavy sigh ) Ah well, the search continues....

Deep moisture, no irritants, and no breakouts!

Every winter my complexion drys out and starts looking rough and aged. I have used many expensive moisturizers (and some cheaper ones as well), but none of them moisturize as deeply as this product. My skin isn't always so dry that I need this product daily, but whenever I use it, I get compliments on how soft my skin looks. Love this!
Best PC cream I've tried
from Toronto, Canada
I have eczema prone skin, and this product has been really great for me. It's non-irritating, and keeps my skin moisturized longer than any other cream I've tried so I don't have to keep reapplying. It's also been good for dealing with some redness I've been experiencing. Overall an awesome product and I'd recommend it to anyone who has dry skin.

VERY, VERY THICK
By RICHARD THE SECOND
from PHILADELPHIA, PA
THIS IS A VERY THICK, RICH CREAM. IF YOU HAVE VERY DRY SKIN YOU WILL FIND THIS AN EXCELLENT MOISTURIZER, VERY SOOTHING. IF YOU HAVE NORMAL TO COMBINATION SKIN, YOU WILL FIND IT WAY TOO HEAVY AND CAN'T WAIT TILL YOU WASH IT OFF.

Can't live without it now
It's still weird for me to realize my skin has now become dry because it was always so oily, so at first I was hesitant to buy such a thick moisturizer. However, since using Retin-A my skin occasionally flakes and stays fairly dry so I was searching for a cream that didn't have any fragrance or extra stuff in it. This cream is perfect! Scent free, it just glides on like butter. I use I every night when I feel the slightest tightening of my skin and it helps tremendously. It does not break me out even though I'm still prone to skin clogging. Will use this forever!!

I LOVE this! I bought this in replacement of the MOISTURE BOOST nighttime cream. I could have bought the SKIN RECOVERY one but recently my skin, for some obscur reason, was extremely dry, even flaky, so I thought I would go with something that claimed to be very moisturizing. I wasn't disappointed. My skin feels a lot better now: I can easily see improvement. I find it very thick and heavy, but I don't think it is a con, as it is a big relief for my skin when I put it on. It has a smell but it's not bad. I will definitely buy this again!
