About Me Brand Buyer
Comments about Earth Sourced Toner - 5 oz:
I've been using this for a year. It's a must have product for me now. The ingredients list is far more impressive than any of the PC's serums or toners. For the price you are getting a lot of beneficial ingredients. It is a gel/liquid consistency which is better applied with your fingers in my opinion. After my daily shower I pat this onto my face, neck and chest and it removes any redness I have. All I need is 4 drops to cover this entire area. I treat this product more like a serum than a toner. It's a must have for me and I hope they never discontinue it.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I was surprised to find this angel like texture wasn't used to a gel like toner but this has really grown on me it's so soothing after cleansing I'm liking it more and more each time this truly can be used for all skin types I have combo skin and it gives the perfect amount of moisture without feeling greasy

Nice But Not For Dry Skin
from San Francisco Bay Area
I normally use Paula's Resist Advanced Replenishing Toner, but I decided to give Earth Sourced Purely Natural Refreshing Toner a try.It is quite pleasant: i liked the product's gel-like texture, it feels nice and refreshing going on, and it did not irritate my often sensitive, rosacea-prone skin. However, i found it rather drying on my aging, somewhat dry skin. I have returned to using the Resist Replenishing Toner, but keep the Earth Sourced Toner for when i need extra cleansing. This is an excellent product for most skin types, but i would caution against its use on dry skin.

Gentle yet effective toner!
from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada
This toner has helped considerably with redness and is very compatible with sensitive skin, and also helps calm irritation due to the dry winter air. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a toner who has sensitive skin when they find liquid toners are too irritating for them. This toner has more of a gel-like consistency so here's what I do: I take a cotton pad, put a sufficient amount of toner on, and kind of 'smoosh' it together so it spreads all over the cotton pad, then apply it to my face. The only downside is that the product can kind of spill out when you use it, I think it would be better with a pump. Other than that it leaves your face feeling very refreshed and helps get rid of stubborn makeup that doesn't come off with cleansing :) Would recommend :)

viscosity wins the day

Greatness in texture. The thicker gel like toner is great it can be applied with your fingertips. I really like this toner it's refreshing and so far my face loves it.

Nice soothing toner
from San Diego, CA
This is a simple, soothing toner that is good for all skin types. It has a thick consistency and not much of a smell. I even use it on my 3 year old daughter because it is so gentle. I normally use it after I've put on the 10% glycolic weekly treatment to soothe my skin. I've used it on my daughter and myself after we have caught some sun. I feel it's more like a calming toner- not something I would rely on for anti aging benefits.

good at calm skin, but the texture not so pleasant
from Louisville, KY
It calms down the redness, very nice for the sensitive skin type. But the texture is not easy to use. You put it on the cotton pad or cotton ball, it doesn't soak in, and you'll pour more than you actually need to apply on the face. It's easier when you just pour to your palm and then dab into the skin. However, it will be better if it's like liquid.

It was good for a while...
By Maria P.
I love the texture and how hydrating it is. I have oily skin and keep breakouts and blackheads at bay by using my beloved Clear Regular Strength exfoliator. After a month of using this toner, my skin was so clogged, I had blackheads all over. I know it was the toner because it was the only new thing I was using, and because after stopping its use my skin went back to normal. I now use it only around my eyes and to mix my clay masks. Good product, but I wouldn't recommend it for all skin types.

Amazing - redness gone, skin clear
This toner is really remarkable. I have had reddish skin on my face for more than 10 years, and have battled oily skin and acne. The only thing I have changed in my routine is adding this toner (use it twice a day - morning and bedtime), and my skin is dramatically different. The redness is completely gone. Gone. And my skin is not oily anymore, acne gone. If you have issues with redness, give this a try. As others have mentioned, I like to use it just on my fingers and not a cotton ball.

Best as a serum booster
By Sandy S.
I too use this an antioxidant booster to my mix of serums. Just a couple drops morning and night, and I'll probably get a year out of the bottle. Great for thinning out some serum combinations and adding some extra antioxidant protection. It's a bit thick for a toner IMHO, and probably would not do well on a cotton pad.
