Great product but the packaging is a deal-breaker.

Comments about RESIST C15 Super Booster - 0.67 oz:
I love this product - it works very well adding a few drops to my moisturizer at night or applying during the day under sunscreen. But the packaging is making me rethink buying it. Using a few drops a day (more is irritating to my sensitive skin), I have half the expensive bottle left when it goes bad. I've tried buying the sample bottles for the smaller amount but they aren't sealed like the big bottle so they oxidize even before they are opened. I hope Paula will package this in a smaller well-sealed bottle. I am intensely loyal to Paula's products but given the cost and waste, I may need to look elsewhere for a smaller bottle.

About Me Beauty Expert
This product is absolutely amazing! Let me start off by saying before using Paula's Choice products my skin was terrible. I have sensitive, acne-prone, combination skin AND I suffer from perioral dermatitis...my skin was like a trick-bag, when I would try a product I never knew what results I was going to get. That is until I took a leap of faith and consulted Paula's Choice reps...and I'm grateful that I did! My skin is finally for the first time in my adult life doing great...and I didn't think it could possibly get any better until I added this product to my regime.I use it in the daytime and the evening. In the evening I use it in combination with my Resist Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator and for the daytime I use it by applying a few drops directly onto my face and neck before I apply the Resist Super Light Wrinkle Defense SPF.What a game changer! I didn't expect such speedy results especially since most of the products I was already using were helping with my hyper-pigmentation from previous acne scars. These are the other Paula's Choice products I've been using:1. Resist Perfectly Balanced Cleanser2. Resist Weightless Advanced Repair Toner3. Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Exfoliant4. Clinical 1% Retinol5. Resist Anti Aging Clear Skin Hydrator6. Resist Super Light Wrinkle Defense SPFLiterally after the FIRST night of using this product...when I woke-up and looked in the mirror I didn't recognize my own face. My skin was vibrant and my hyper-pigmentation had noticeably decreased. As for the negative reviews I believe that this product works best in conjunction with an effective skincare regime. Don't just wash your face and use this product expecting major results. Cleansing, toning, exfolianting, treatments/serums and moisturizing PLUS using SPF are so essential to the process.

Great product but did not work for me
from Hong Kong
This is a great serum, but I believe the vitamin E in the serum break me out. I tried skinceuticles and drunk elephant's vitamin C serum as well (all fomulated with vitamin C+ E), and they all break me out, cry....

Pricey and No Noticeable Results
Really my title says it all. I'm 29 with a few freckles along my cheeks and a little unevenness on my chin and cheeks from acne in the past. I used 7-8 drops of this on my face and neck undiluted for about 3-ish months until I ran out. I always wear between 30 and 50 broadspectrum spf everyday so the lack of results are not due to sun exposure. I went without this serum for months and my skin still looked the same. At first I chalked this up to vitamin c perhaps just not being an effective ingredient for me or being too young to see results with it yet. However I recently decided to give vitamin c serums another try from another brand (a brand cheaper than paula's) and I'm now finally seeing what's so great about vitamin c! It's just unacceptable that this is so expensive (and it smells kinda funky) and does nothing. I like other paula products, but this one is a total (expensive) dud.

My favorite product!
I have been a customer of Paula's Choice for many years and use several of her products. The vitamin C serum has made the biggest difference in the shortest period of time than anything else I have tried. I have been using it since the end of August . It has reduced redness and hyperpigmentation and even softened the lines on my forehead and around my eyes. I love the consistency of it(I hate thick serums and creams). Though the ferulic acid does have a slight metallic smell, I do not mind it and it dissipates quickly.I use it each morning underneath my Paulas Choice mineral sunscreen. It is definatly worth the price. Please do not change anything about this serum.
Stings when I put it on
from Toronto, Canada
I purchased the sample size because I have some acne scarring on my chin. I applied this to the area, and in the morning, everywhere I applied was red/pink. There was even a line showing where I stopped applying. This was my first time trying it. I tried it once more thinking maybe it was something else that caused my redness, but this product once again stung as I put it on. I love Paula's Choice and their products have pretty much cured my acne, but I don't think I will be using this for my hyperpigmentation.
from Hermosa Beach, California
This is not a review of the efficacy of this product because I have only used my sample twice now. I will review the effectiveness at a later date. But I just wanted to let others know that I do not find this serum to have any offensive smell whatsoever. In fact, if it does have any scent, it is very light and rather pleasant. I hope this may help those who are concerned about this factor after reading so many negative comments regarding the odor of this product.

My skin loves it
from Newburgh IN
I can tell the difference between when I use and when I don't. My skin looks so much smoother when I do. I add 2 small drops to my day or nite serum. That's all it takes. Bought the sample size and am now reordering.
Did not work for me

About Me Minimalist
I used this product for the past two months in my AM and PM regimen. I wouldn't say my skin is sensitive, but I noticed this product resulted in one or two small bumps here and there. It also did not lighten my sunspots or melasma at all. I used it right after cleansing and before moisturizing. I used 3-4 drops to cover my forehead, cheeks, nose, upper lip and chin. No improvement. I have already sent it in to return it. I was disappointed because I like consulting the Beautypedia Reviews before I purchase a new product. So I thought I should give Paula's Choice products a try. Unfortunately, this one didn't work out for me.

another disappointing brightener
after using this product consistently and daily for 6 months, there was no improvement in my sun spots. In fact, I think they may have gotten slightly worse. I applied after my exfoliant and before my moisturizer at night, every night. 3-5 drops into my palm, patted with fingertips directly to the areas with spots, and then I patted the remaining product all over my face. I also wear 30 spf sunscreen consistently every day (so sun exposure shouldn't be a factor). what an expensive disappointment.
