Comments about RESIST Anti-Aging Lip Gloss SPF 40 - Clearshine:
I really wanted to love this product. the color is great as is the shine however the aroma is way too strong. Smells like maple syrup, right under your nose. Too much!!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

christmas in july!!!
I really like this lip-gloss when I just want to have a hint of color on my lips. I swear it smells like sugar cookies !!, it is like Christmas in July. I am not a gloss lover but this gloss doesn't give me that tacky, yucky finish on my lips. Of course isn't waterproof so you would need to reapply if you eat or drink. Overall I really like it .

I really like this product (I have the pink shade). I like my lip products to be cruelty free and pack a SPF punch. This one adds shine and a hint of color to boot. I have read reviews that say it smells and/or tastes bad. It just reminds me of sunscreen, nothing terribly offensive. The gloss lasts decently, is not too tacky and doesn't make my lips burn. Is it a little pricey? Yes. You don't need a lot though. I would rather pay a little more for a product that is cruelty free and is made of quality ingredients.

I would classify it as a medium weight gloss. I had gotten some as a sample and fell in love with it so I had to purchase a tube. I got the pink and it is a very subtle pink which I love because I am not a colored lips kind of girl. It has a very mild vanilla smell which is very nice. What I am blown away at and which makes spending this much on lip gloss worth it is the staying power. I applied it twice... TWICE in the last 10 hours. At one point I forgot I had applied it and thought when did I put gloss on my lips.... Oh yeah hours ago! Another home run for Paula's Choice

Lovely color and great protection . After the first use I reach for this as a balm and healing agent. My lips have never been as soft and peel-free as with this product. No weird taste, either. Thank you!

About Me Natural Style
I recently noticed a faint mole growing on my lip despite religiously using spf 5 lipbalm and staying out of the sun. Luckily, I had a sample of this lying around. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it smelled. Other people might be turned off but I think it has a nice maple syrup smell. The Sheer Pink complimented my skin beautifully. I have fair and very warm-toned skin. Usually Paula's makeup/tinted products are more for cool-toned skin tones. I'd say it's a neutral, rosy pink. I'm not a huge fan of lip gloss since you have to reapply often and it's like a magnet for stray hair strands. I'd say it lasted between 1 and 2 hours. It made it through an entire lunch without coming off but I was being extra careful.

Nice product, bad taste
from Chibougamau, Canada
Very interesting product BUT very bad and insisting taste. If you are looking for moisturizer & sheer-natural Gloss with a high sun protection, that could be a great choice, but it has a very bad taste and syrup smell. I bought both colors and they have both the same bad smell-taste. It also left a persisting oily feeling it the mouth. Is that due to the sun protection? Like the thin tube applicator.

This product felt drying on my lips and made me appear older than i am due to dry, cakey lip gloss. Normally gloss offers a juicy, youthful appearance to the lips vs. a dried look. Too bad because I love that this lip product offers 40 SPF which our lips need! I know many lip products with SPF only contain approx.. SPF 15 and some do not provide both UVA and UVB protection which this does. If the formula could pleas be revised so that 4o plus year old lips look soft, and supple, then this would be a wonderful product!

Nice color-cant get past bad taste
By Love the outdoors
from Phoenix Az
This is the best, most natural pink I have found. I have the pink and sheer and thought they would be perfect especially with the sunscreen. I just can't get past the petroleum taste and it seems to linger for such a long time. I keep trying because I like the product otherwise. Please, PC, change the taste!
