I had a bad reaction.

Comments about RESIST Dark Spot Eraser 7% AHA - 1 oz:
For a few weeks, I really liked how it began to lighten the melasma patches on my neck and cheeks. Unfortunately, I started to get very itchy, red, and raw in those areas and had to stop using it altogether. My dermatologist says some people develop allergies to hydroquinone, and I should stop. I wish that wasn't the case, because it did lighten effectively.

About Me Beauty Expert
Boy, was I disappointed in the non-existent results of the Resist Dark Spot Eraser product. I swear by Paula's Choice and have recommended her products to friends, so it's nothing against the brand, per se, but this did ZILCH for my acne scars. I tried it on my face consistently, where I have pretty bad scars from over 10 years of acne, and also on a twin acne mark on my inner thigh. I saw no difference in either, and I'm pretty sure this might have made the inner thigh scars worse (they're now purple in color, rather than red). I feel like the more products that PC comes out with, the less effective it is for the entire brand, which is a real shame. There used to be a limited selection but good, quality products, and now it's becoming so diluted with boosters, spot erasers, fillers, etc. that it's starting to seem over-commercialized. I would not recommend this product to anyone, especially if you were really hoping to find something (outside of laser surgery) to get rid of scarring from acne.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

About Me Beauty Conscious
I used this product every night before bed. I had high hopes for this product. It left my skin a little bit sensitive to bumps and acne and there were no visible changes in my dark spots. I also use a sunscreen with spf 50 everyday. I have seen more of a difference with the vitamin C serum when added to my moisturizer. However, this product did not work on my skin.
Too Irritating for My Skin
About Me Minimalist
I purchased this hoping it would be easier to apply than the 2% BHA gel which I had been using. This product is easier to control than the 'runny' gel but after only a few once-a-day applications it made the area red and irritated. I let the area clear for several days and tried again with the same results. It's back to the BHA gel for me--which works great if you are consistent with its use.

I use this product once in morning and night for over 2 months and it did nothing for my hyperpigmentation/freckles on my cheeks. Really bummed...

Give it try
I have several areas with fairly dark sun spots. I first tried the C25 spot treatment which worked OK but caused skin to flake.I Emailed PC and they suggested I tried this product. I have used it for a month and the results are incredible. I no longer need to use concealer over my foundation. The smaller lighter spots are gone and three of the really dark spots are 80% lighter. I have been using every night and will be starting to back off to about 3 nights a week. You do need to put it on as last step, you also need to pat not rub into skin and lastly and unfortunately it does not work well over heavy moisturizer or heavy vitamin C cream it tends to pill. BE PATIENT! IT WORKS. OMG! Don't know why it took me so long to find Paula Choice products.
