Watery texture makes precise dose difficult.

About Me Minimalist
Comments about RESIST 10% Niacinamide Booster - 0.67 oz:
It seems like the point of a dropper dispenser is to make the 2-3 drop dose precise. The watery texture of this booster makes it difficult to determine how many drops are being dispensed and very easy to waste this expensive product. I find myself "forgetting" to use the product for this reason, so can't comment on effect though I've experienced no adverse reaction. But I won't purchase again for the reason above.
Service and delivery comments:

A good product but not quite good enough for all skin types

About Me Beauty Conscious
As a big fan of Paula's Choice, I am rarely disappointed in any products I use from her line, including samples. Most products I have used and tried are excellent, and I am a long-time user of her serums and Vit C booster. This product, although good in terms of what it claims it can do for the skin, has the drawback of producing tiny pimples, white bumps and redness around those bumps, when I purchased and used to try. I noticed the reaction within a few days of using, but persisted because it did actually leave my skin glowing, too. I then stopped using it altogether to test if it was actually a reaction to the product, or a coincidence (the bumps). Sure enough, the bumps reappeared - and I did this twice, to be sure (stop and start). I personally would not repurchase this product because I have never had this reaction to any of Paulas's products, so I am assuming there is something in the Niacinimiade (sp, sorry) that might trigger this. However, I could see the texture and "glow" that this provided - different from a Vit C glow - that other users might benefit from.
I definitely recommend this; it cleared up my blackheads!
from Hampton, VA
I've had a problem for a while now with blackheads on my nose, between my eyes, and on my cheeks under my eyes. I've used 2% BHA for years, and never noticed much difference. I've been using the Resist 10% Niacinamide Booster mixed with moisturizer after the BHA for 3 months now, and my blackheads are gone! My pores are also smaller, now that the blackheads are gone. I wish I could say that my red cheeks have gotten better, but unfortunately, I haven't seen any improvement there.

Makes my skin glow
About Me Beauty Expert
There is just something about this product that makes my skin glow whenever I use it. I tried cheaper niacinamide boosters and they were OK, they worked but did not even come close to this one. It's a staple in my nighttime routine before I put on tretinoin and moisturizer.

Pores don't disappear but look much better!
My skin has become less oily as I've aged, but my pores are still very large and visible and my T-zone can look red & splotchy. I would prefer not to wear any kind of foundation but I really need something to even my skin tone and reduce the look of my pores. I have now been able to switch from daily BFF foundation to using Barrier Repair followed by Super-Light Wrinkle Defense with SPF 30 (light tint) along with a light application of powder! No foundation necessary thanks to niacinamide! My pores are still pretty obvious so this isn't magical, but it does well enough.I use this nightly with Barrier Repair after BHA. Here's the trick: I apply the Repair and rub in lightly. I tilt back my face and apply one drop on either cheek. I then finish rubbing in the moisturizer, distributing the booster.

Bumps up my serum

I mix this with my serum one of the Resist ones (no Retinol). It makes everything just better.

This product actually works
from Colorado Springs, Co
The product works if used correctly! I always add 2 or 3 drops to my moisturizer, I never ever apply it on its own straight to the face. That would waste the product as it does have a watery texture. I notice my large pores are not as large and it does soften fine lines, wrinkles. I highly recommend product as it does work. I even add 2 or 3 drops to my RX Retin A!

Smoother Skin with more even Texture
I am fortunate because Niacinamide does not break me out or irritate my skin like many people experience. In fact, it does nothing but great things for my skin! Skin is smoother looking, pores appear smaller, texture more even, lines less pronounced. I searched the internet for Niacinamide skin care that was 10% and couldn't find it anywhere; the highest I could find was 5% and since I tolerate it well, I really wanted the higher percentage because of it's great benefits. I have read some reviews where people don't like the texture of this Niacinamide Booster and prefer it thicker. I happen to be one who likes the thinner texture and don't like the thicker hyaluronic acid type thick gel getting stuck in the dropper. I use 5-6 drops in my nightly moisturizer and I love it! I love all of Paula's Choice skin care products but especially the unique "Targeted solutions" and "Anti-Aging Boosters" that can help me tailor my skin care to my own skin's tolerance issues and needs. For example, since I tolerate Niacinamide well and have large pore issues, I like to use a high percentage of the product and more of it than many people prefer. That's the beauty of the "Targeted Solutions" and "Anti-Aging Boosters" products available at Paula's Choice! Love!!!!!!

My skin used to be really oily, but currently it's more dry, still a bit oily in T-zone and I have eczema. It's not bad, but there are red/pink, slightly rough patches on my cheeks always. But I notice those patches are decreasing quickly after using this!!!!Tbh at first it was irritating my skin, but I think it's because I'm rotating HBA, AHA, Retinol products (Resist line) AND this so it's a bit too much. That's why I reduced the dosage (like use abt two drops - NOT two whole droppers - at night, abt two nights a week) and started seeing the results: my skin is less red, less patchy, softer and less dry, pores seem to get better (they look nicer, I'm not sure if they're smaller because my pores wasn't that bad to begin with). Now I'm increasing the dosage bit by bit and it's not irritating at all anymore, and I love every bit of it!!Thank you so much PC team, I never thought there could be a product that improves the patches on my skin because they're eczema, and they're not so bad but just never went away, until now!!! This is just brilliant, keep up the wonderful work! Love love love

Broke me out every time
I tried using this alone and mixed into my moisturizer on at least 5 occasions each way over the past six months, and every time this broke me out overnight. Yesterday was my last attempt, and I discarded the bottle this morning after looking in the mirror. I have rosacea with sensitive skin. There is simply too much in this for someone with sensitive skin....too much Niacinamide and too many other ingredients. My skin loves Niacinamide so I would like to see a sensitive skin version that has a lower amount of Niacinamide and does not include a kitchen sink full of other ingredients.
