Please please bring back the Hydralight toner!!!
About Me Budget Buyer
Comments about Earth Sourced Toner - 5 oz:
This toner was my last try on the search to find a replacement for the discontinued Hydralight toner. I liked this toner a lot because it was soothing and non-greasy and I actually liked the scent. But after a few weeks of using it at night and using what I have left of the Hydralight toner in the morning my face erupted in breakouts all over. This was the only new product I was using so I stopped using it and went back to using the Hydralight toner both morning and night and slowly my breakouts have cleared up. Unfortunately I had to return this product.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Both a Toner & a 'Skin Conditioner'!

About Me Brand Buyer
I've been using this toner since I started using PC's products, which is about 4-5 years. I've used the entire Earth source line, and while l like all the products, this is my favorite. My most favorite toner is the Resist Classic (that's what I call it as I can't remember the exact name), the one in the dark blue bottle, but this and the Skin Recovery toners are tied for second place. Why? Because if my skin is at all tender or irritated, this is very soothing; but the main attraction for me is both the consistency—the liquid gel doesn't run all over if I pour a little in my hand—and the way it feels even after I've used a different toner during the same session. For example, if I use the standard Resist toner, then an exfoliant, I then apply this as a sort of buffer and to prep my skin for the next step. I still use a serum, some of the boosters, the 1% retinol, etc., but I like the feeling of this as a base for all of that other stuff. I guess I look at it as a sort of 'antioxidant booster'. It never makes my skin feel greasy or dry. It's great around my eyes, and very refreshing after a workout or as a sort of mid afternoon 'pick me up'. I know I'm probably sounding a bit wacky, but I'v fallen in love with it. I hope PC never discontinues it, or if they do, the put it on sale first so I can stock up.Oh, I almost forgot: it's great for guys who really like the PC 4 Men line, but feel that they could use something extra that a toner provides. Especially since the PC4Men face wash is the same as the Earth Source cleanser.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

On my second bottle, will repurchase again and again
I love the texture of this toner. The consistency of this toner is perfect for mixing with lotions/creams when I want to dilute the thick or greasy moisturizers. I always find moisturizing lotions to be too thick. The lighter/more fluid lotions are often loaded with alcohol or silicones. This toner is scent- free, silicone free and alcohol free. It adds antioxidants and hydration to my lotion so it is perfect for mixing. The price is slightly on the higher end for a toner so I usually don't use it as a toner with a cotton pad.

About Me Beauty Conscious
I had been using the RESIST line toner and it was great. When my bottle was running out I thought I'd try the Earth all natural line. I had tried some samples without problems. When the product arrived I also got the product line sample packages thinking they'd be convenient for travelling. Brought them on this trip and immediately had prickly sensation Thought it would go away but now my face is so itchy I can't sleep

About Me Beauty Expert
I have combination skin. My skin is pretty normal except my oily nose. During the winter, around my eyes and lips get dry but it's nothing crazy. Just a little dry and that's it. Since my facial skin can't handle niacinamide at all, I had about 3 options, if I remember it correctly. Based on the reviews and the ingredients of this toner, I decided to give it a try and it turned out I don't really like it. It sucks to say that I don't like this product because I really wanted to love it.I've noticed that every single time I use this toner, my skin gets very dry.. I only use it with cotton pads (shiseido) and seconds after using it, my skin immediately feels so dry that I have to rush to do the rest of my skincare routine.. I don't know why, I must be unusual. I've never experienced anything like this with other toners in my life. It doesn't break out my skin, which is good, but I do not appreciate the fact that it feels like it takes natural moist from my skin. I do not find it effective on my skin.. I'll have to try a different toner.

Most Effective Skin Care Product I Have Ever Used. Really.
from Washington, DC
I have wrinkles and acne and would like to reduce chemicals on my skin. I have used two bottles now and cannot believe how much better my skin looks. The redness is reduced. This is a VISIBLE reduction in the lines on my forehead and around my mouth. My skin is smoother. And no pimples. I love this stuff. Sure the texture is different and it doesn't have masking perfumes, but who cares? It works.

About Me Minimalist
I really love this product. It's liquid but thicker than any toner I've ever used, so I put a couple of drops in my left palm and then pat the toner on my face with the fingertips of my right hand. I like that I don't have to use a cotton pad to apply. The toner is refreshing, soothing, and creates a nice base for my moisturizer. I love the mild almond scent.

Best Toner In The World!
By ruthy c

I love having a toner that has so many good, safe, and natural products shown to help skin all in one great treatment! I have oily skin with large pores and redness that is very sensitive, now wrinkles and sagging are starting to show too. I have to worry about products that make me break out or clog pores. Even products with lots of silicones cause problems, making my sebaceous hyperplasia worse! I don't ever have to worry about this wonderful toner, and I get all of the antioxidant power I could want, along with soothing ingredients, and I never break out! There is much less overall inflammation since I have been using this twice a day, making my pores less apparent. It is light, has no scent, spreads so easily so a little goes a long way. I just put it on with my fingers, after I pour a little into the "well" formed in the palm of my hand. No waste at all. It layers well, never causing pilling. I felt bad because I could not use products with a lot of silicones, especially the antioxidant products which I really wanted to use, but with this I have so many antioxidants with no untoward effects, so I am happy again. Please never stop making this Paula! It is perfect for skin like mine.
Star of the Earth Sourced line
from Los Angeles, CA
I recently tried Earth Sourced toner, and I must say, this is the star of the Earth Sourced line. It has an elegant gel-essence texture that can be glided over skin after cleansing with either fingers or a cotton round. It has a pleasant neutral scent. It feels very rich and nourishing, and is lightly hydrating without being overly heavy or sticky. The toner complimented the Earth Sourced cleanser very well, maintaining the clean feeling I had from the cleanser. Although the ingredients contain many beneficial botanical oils, I think this product would be better for normal to oily skin types because it is minimally hydrating. Overall I love it, and will consider a full-size purchase!

This has been a miracle for my oily, eczema-plagued skin. I can't use a lot of Paula's other products due to ingredient allergies, but this has proven to be my unicorn. It's incredibly calming and provides enough hydration and moisture to my oily skin that I don't need an extra moisturizer, but it also doesn't leave me feeling greasy thanks to the lack of silicones. Honestly I consider it to be more of an antioxidant serum due to the ingredients and texture (thin gel) than a toner so if you're considering this, I'd recommend patting it on with your hands because the texture just isn't made to be used with cotton pads/balls. Since I started using this, the overall texture of my skin has greatly improved and my eczema has also been minimized. I've never seen such great results with a single skincare product before in my life, so I'm really glad that I finally found something that works. I will seriously cry if they ever reformulate or discontinue it.
