Ah, Moisture Boost

About Me Budget Buyer
Comments about Moisture Boost Cleanser - 16 oz:
Let me preface this by saying that this is not my favorite cleanser, but this IS the cleanser that I buy repeatedly. Let me explain. The Skin Recovery Softening Cleanser is, by far, my favorite cleanser. My skin is very easily dried out, and Moisture Boost does tend to dry my skin out. I'm youngish (early 30's), and have always had sensitive sebaceous glands, but I think I've got them pretty well figured out. If I irritate them too much or dry out my skin, I turn into an oil slick. So, more moisture = less oil. But Moisture Boost doesn't ACTUALLY boost my moisture. I feel a little bit dry, and I'm JUST on the line of being TOO dry. HOWEVER, I'm also cheap. And holy crud, this stuff goes SUCH A LONG WAY it's ridiculous. It's like mana from heaven, it just never stops. Just a few drops cleanses my face, so I just make sure to get my moisturizer on immediately after my shower to counteract the dryness.Would I recommend this product? HECK YEAH! I think that this is probably THE product for everyone. I'm guessing I'm the freak that has the weirdly sensitive skin and that everyone would love this. If you're a dryer like me and not as cheap as I am though, try the Skin Recovery though.

More gentle than Skin Balancing Cleanser
from Orlando, FL
About Me Brand Buyer
I had used Skin Balancing Cleanser for my oily/combination skin for a long time, but now that I'm getting older I find that it dries out my face just a little bit. I tried the Moisture Boost Cleanser and was pleasantly surprised that it does an equally good job of cleansing my face and removing makeup, but does not sting my eyes or dry out my skin. In fact, my face is left feeling fresh, clean and soft. Even though this cleanser is marketed for those with normal to dry skin, I feel that it works just as well for those with oily/combination skin. Afterwards, I just use Skin Balancing Toner and it removes whatever traces of eye makeup is left. Now Moisture Boost has become my favorite Paula's Choice cleanser!

I have mature, combination skin (extremely dry & extremely oily areas). I have looked for years for an effective cleanser that doesn't leave my face feeling uncomfortably tight. This is the winner. Love the rich, silky texture and you only need a pea sized drop so it lasts a long time.

This is a classic!!
This is my all time favorite cleanser! It removes makeup and leaves my face feeling clean, without stripping it of moisture. Great product!

This is definitely my cleanser :)
from oakland, Ca.
I am 55, an African Amer. female. It is important to see reviews of those with similar backgrounds:). This cleanser is amazing!!! You really don't expect MUCH from a cleanser. You just move on to the next step; but this is no ordinary cleanser. it gently cleanses, while leaving your skin soft, smooth. It literally compliments/boosts your moisturizer! My skin type is normal/dry, and this is my cleanser. I had to take time to do this survey, so that others can benefit from it. Thank you very much Paula's Choice. I am looking at your other products in the catalog you sent with my purchase. Also I was very pleased at how fast my order was delivered!:):):)

I use three different cleansers by Paula's choice, but this one is a perennial favorite. Its gentle formula is perfect year round. I buy the large size and keep it in my shower. As with any cleanser, when I wear eye makeup, especially mascara, I use a separate eye makeup remover before I cleanse.

Such a relief!
from Not disclosed
Recently my skin began reacting with a rash and hives to everything...including products that worked for me in the past. I identified an adverse reaction to soy and niacinamide. I read the ingredients for every PC cleanser and found this one. I ordered samples of this, the Skin Recovery moisturizer, and the Resist Weekly AHA. One use and my skin is calm and clear. What a relief! Already ordered a full size of each. Glad to find these soy and niacinamide free products that work amazingly!

I won't use anything to wash my face but this. Silky? True. Gentle? True. Effective? True. I even use it to clean water-soluble eye makeup off, and there is NO stinging involved.

One of the best!!!!!
By Laura R
from Orange city, FL
I am so satisfied with this cleanser. My skin is normal to combination and sensitive! This cleanses deep but my face feels soft and fresh afterwards. I tried hydralight but it dried me out and I also tried skin recovery but that didn't clean my face deep enough...so Moisture boost I am back to you! Couldn't be happier. And so my search for an excellent cleanser ends here! Moisture boost is simply the best of the best!!! Thanks Paula :)

Wanted to love this
from Fort pierce, Fl
After using PC products for years now, I didn't think I'd ever find another I didn't love. I've only had issues with one other product and that was the hydra light toner. Anyway, I bought this one for a moisture boost, no pun intended and it did just the opposite. It does out my skin so badly that I could see flaking skin after showering. It made my fave red, itchy and made it burn so bad. I tried it out for a while to make sure I didn't just need to adjust to a new product. It made my skin much more sensitive and I've broken out more than I have in a long time. It's nice and cramp, but just not for me. :(
