Comments about RESIST Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator - 1.7 oz:
I really liked this moisturizer because it is super lightweight and non-irritating. It is a constant challenge finding a moisturizer that works with my oily combination and sensitive skin. It was only when I ran out of this product and switched back to what I had been using before (Eucerin redness relief, which I don't love because I can feel it kind of heavy on my skin) that I realized that my skin had been on the dry side from using this product. I actually now switched to the Resist Moisturizer for drier skin (Barrier Repair Moisturizer). It feels a little on the heavy side for my skin, so I am only putting it on the drier places. I think using these together might work out...

I have used this every night as a moisturizer since about January, and it was very cold here and I didn't find it moisturizing enough so I had to use another moisturizer. As a summer moisturizer, however, it is gorgeous and lightweight. It sinks into the skin really nicely and has a nice texture. If you've got sensitive skin, it may sting, as it did for me when my skin was dry and flaky in the winter. It doesn't sting in the summer, though. I haven't really noticed any change in discoloration or pore size, which it claims to do, so I can only give it four stars.

FINALLY found the right moisturizer!
from Chicago, IL
About Me Beauty Expert
It has taken me my entire life...but I have finally found the right moisturizer for my skin!! It's been tough because my skin has gone through some changes with the use of drying prescription topical acne medications, but now that I no longer use those (other than over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide and the Resist 2% BHA), my skin has returned to being more oily and this is the perfect light moisturizer for my oily/combo skin! This moisturizer, unlike many I've tried, does not sting when I apply it and it soaks into the skin quickly. It's just hydrating enough for me. I know that many people with oily skin don't like moisturizers - I used to be the same way - but I'd highly recommend this for anyone who is oily and breakout prone!

Not for sensitive skin
from Springfield, IL
I loved this moisturizer at first. After about 2 weeks of use my skin started getting very irritated and red. I did a process of elimination and found that this moisturizer was the culprit. I have acne prone skin and it is dehydrated from using benzoyl peroxide and has become sensitive. I have had a horrible time trying to find a moisturizer that doesn't cause breakouts and doesn't irritate my skin. I am going to try calm redness moisturizer for combination skin next, hopefully that helps. It also caused my eye area to become red and itchy.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The One Thing I Can't Live Without
By Lauren the Tired Artist

First off, I never thought I would love this product this much. I truly got this on a whim the first time, and now I am placing the order for my 5th bottle (if memory serves correct). My skincare screams: Priority 1# Acne Control! Everything I own from toner to treatment is all to control my acne and soothe my burning skin. If it were not for the affects of my treatments causing red, dry, flaking every once and a while, on my highly oil skin, I would still be using a ultra-light weight, highly-cheap, drugstore moisturizer. I got this because I wanted something a little more moisturizing and thought the anti-aging would be a good thing to start for the future. Boy was I wrong. Want a moisturizer that you can build to what you want? Say you need a little on your oily T-zone, but man, you need something heavy on your cheeks? HERE she is.Want something that will NOT break you out? Ta-Da here she is.Oh and when you haven't slept in three days working on whatever life throws at you (college, work, tests, life in general); don't worry because you will get compliments on your bright complexion thanks to this. I am in-love guys. On top of everything the frown-lines I have are gone. Poof. Granted it took three years of using this as my ONLY anti-aging product and it is just a moisturizer. But one day I woke up looked in the mirror and realized through a haze of sleep deprivation that I did not LOOK tired. Granted I coat my face in several layers of BHAs everyday, but I used those for years. It wasn't until I started using this little surprise that my face became bright and soft. No more dark circles. I am trying to pay off a mountain of Student Loans, so I have NO money for anything, much less a pricey skincare option. But this... is worth EVERY. PENNY. I will gladly eat ramen for a month twice a year when I have to purchase a new one.

Oh my gosh I love this silky gel/cream hydrator so much. I have very sensitive skin which is combination-oily with dry flaky spots, redness, and some breakouts thrown in for good measure. While even the Calm moisturizer sometimes irritates my finicky skin, this hydrator never does. It feels so great on my skin. It moisturizes the areas that are drier like my cheeks and under-eye area, without being too heavy for my oily T-zone. I use it twice a day, and while I love it on it's own, it layers easily with other moisturizers and serums. Thank you Paula! I finally found my holy grail moisturizer!

Irritating / Not enough moisture
from Frederick, MD
Really wanted to love this. Love the entire Resist line for Normal/Oily except for this item. I have somewhat temperamental skin - it's normal but most of the time products for dry skin are just a tad too moisturizing and products for oily skin are just a tad to drying. The resist line would have been perfect if this lotion was a bit different. I didn't like the gel texture, it just didn't provide enough hydration in my cheeks and made my skin look dull and dry. Also, by the third or fourth day my skin was starting to sting when applying this and then my skin would be red and irritated for the rest of the day. Different moisturizer and this line would be amazing!

My go-to moisturizer
By micellar water

I love this moisturizer! It doesn't break me out at all and it moisturizes pretty well, especially after drying acne products. It does tend to get darker over time, even when you put on the cap immediately after and store it in a dark, dry place with little air exposure. It also tends to clump up near the nozzle or even sometimes inside the nozzle so you get a chunk of dried moisturizer when you dispense it, even with daily use. I have very oily skin so it's a good moisturizer for me, most of the time. When it gets really dry, it doesn't really help with flakiness. It doesn't help with my redness either. I have yet to find a moisturizer that doesn't break me out and moisturizes as well as this one does.

Perfect moisturizer that meets all my needs
I just finished my first bottle and I'm ordering another. I was hesitant to try this product since I have very sensitive skin with rosacea. I was using hydralight lotion for normal to oily skin and it was the first lotion of any brand that really worked for me. Since it worked, I wasn't sure if I should rock the boat. I decided to try this resist lotion since it addresses anti-aging and acne, which are two of my skin care priorities. (I have very minor hormonal acne along with some blackheads around my nose that went away once I started using hydralight and BHA.) Like hydralight, the product moisturized without causing breakouts. I ended up liking resist more than hydralight because of the texture. It feels thicker than hydralight's milky lotion and glides on your skin easily. I think it is an excellent primer on days when I wear makeup. I like how it looks on days I don't wear makeup as well.I took the advice of one of the PC videos that said to change your toner to address variations in your face's moister needs. This approach works for my combination skin that fluctuates with the weather. On dry days, I use a more nourishing toner and on oily and normal days I use a lighter toner.I am trying the resist sunscreens for the daytime next.

I have very sensitive skin & this moisterizer does not give me in any way sensitivity, which leads me to believe that if you're suffering from sensitivity, you're either having an allergic reaction to an ingredient in this product or it's something else you must be using. The same applies to anyone who's recommending caution to those with acne-prone skin. I suffered from acne prior to switching to a full PC skincare routine, & this moisturiser does not cause acne. It's a light creamy gel that leaves skin plumped & moisturised without residue or the feeling that you're wearing anything on your skin, because it's not heavy, it's not greasy or sticky. I love this moisturiser & BECAUSE I suffered from acne, was not a great fan of moisturisers in general. Thank you, PC!
