I got a deluxe sample of this with a recent order I placed. I have rosacea and super sensitive skin so I was hoping this would work for me as I'm in my 30's and wanting to take good care of my skin. I loved this! It does not irritate my skin at all and I love that I can use it around my eyes with no problem. I definitely see an improvement in the tone and texture of my skin. My younger sister recently touched the skin on my cheek and was surprised at how firm my skin was compared to hers.

My first experience with the Resist Retinol was the deluxe trial size that was sent out as a promo to all customers who spent $50 or more. I was very reluctant to try it, due to bad allergic reaction to another skincare line that also contained Retinol. Finally, I shrugged and decided to patch test the Resist Retinol. Turns out I'm not allergic to retinol, just that other skincare line! No irritation and it has completely flattened out a frown line/wrinkle that I had between my eyebrows.

ONLY tried this because I received a free 2-week size. I stay away from PC serums due to their slick texture/my oily skin/pimples/blackheads. Never used retinol before; use other BHA PC products. Decided to try this-at 55 I've noticed dramatic thinning of skin, first fine lines, deepening crows feet, sun damage. After 2 mos., all were substantially diminished; skin texture evened out; thinning skin looked/felt better/acne reduced. Has NOT reduced dark spots. No unwanted side affects/irritation.

There are many Paula's Choice products that I love but this definitely is not one of them! They may call this is serum, but it is very oily and caused me to breakout. I have always been acne prone, so when I first started using this and broke out, I stopped it for a month, just to make sure it was not a coincidence. Unfortunately the same thing happened the second time I tried it.

This has cleared my acne spots. When I use this I wake up with glowing skin. For some reason I still get a few zits on my right cheek and this keeps it at bay. No irritation and I love how my skin looks!

I was lucky enough to win this months ago, and I really liked it! It really hydrated my skin, and NEVER irritated it! Paula's so awesome at creating formulas with ingredients that so often cause sensitivity for people, but don't when included in her line's formulation. It's also great because you only need a LITTLE amount for it to work, so it lasted me....no joke...six months! The reason why I'm not giving it five stars is because I actually prefer the mattifying skin balancing gel better!

I would like to rate this excellent, but only have been using for a few weeks. I received this as a three week free sample and seems to be helping with the pigment of my acne scars. I usually have to apply heavy concealer on my chin, but lately have noticed the reddish/purple color has faded. I am definalety buying more, and recommend to anyone that suffers from acne scars as myself. Thank u Paula and company for sending me to try! Super silky feeling!

I have tried many serums since I've noticed slight signs of aging and this one is so powerful. My skin is more firm, soft, and smooth. My frown line has improved and not one of the other brands helped with that. I don't need moisturizer under my eyes anymore. I just bought some bb cream from Lancôme and received a sample of visionaire and feel like throwing it away. True fan forever. Now I am curious about trying Paula's makeup.

Unfortunately for me, this product caused bad acne, some of which have left tiny scars. I bought this after a recommendation by a skin care expert; now that I'm in my late 20s my skin has become dry and acne prone. I began my new routine only to see acne all over. Thinking my skin was changing, I bought the Clear Skin lotion too. The acne only became worse. I stopped using all skin products, and my acne healed. Once I re-added this, the bad acne returned. I stopped using it, and the acne healed

This product really worked for me. I'm 52 and the lines around my eyes and smile area are less noticeable than before. I have a hard time finding anythiing that works on my fine lines. This worked and I recommend it.

Received the 3-week sample and began using it at night. My cheeks feel smoother and the blackheads on my nose seem to be "fading." I love the "luxury" feeling of putting on a serum before bed, too. Not irritating to my skin. If I get a slight dryness on the apple of my cheeks, I'll skip a night. I use it under my eyes with no problem.

Tried free sample with purchase. Used this under my eyes and within 5 - 10 min, it started burning and got really red! Washed off immediately, but still hurts next morning. Love all other Paulas Choice products, so I don't know what happened. :(

My skin do feels soft after using this product and makeup applies better. At first it feels little greasy, but it goes away quickly, and it's not a bad kind of oily feeling. My only problem with it...and reason for it being 3 star is after I apply it, my whole face become red. It doesn't itch or anything like that, but I do feel slightly flushed and even though it goes away after awhile. I don't know reason for this, but I don't think I should reorder this which is shame.

I used to use prescription tretinoin to combat wrinkles, but I had to limit it to once every two or three days because it would cause peeling. I've since ditched that for this retinol serum. It may not be prescription-strength, but I can use it every night, and perhaps for that reason I've seen MUCH better results. My smile lines (around mouth and eyes) have almost completely disappeared! And the texture of my skin is visibly improved everywhere I use it: face, neck, chest and backs of hands.

I have oily cheeks & nose, but really combination skin. When this product came in, it proved too heavy for my face, but I simply LOVE using it everyday on my neck & upper chest. Ladies, look at the necks of women over 50 & see a place that has been ignored, even when wrinkles are taken seriously on the face. This works great for my neck & chest & I saw a difference in a couple of weeks. Ladies, our necks are crying for Retinol attention!

This is one of the few products that had significantly made my skin worse after using. I alternated the product with RESIST Ultra Light Antioxidant Serum only to see an increase in breakouts and generally bad looking skin. I assume it was too much for my sensitive skin. I have it packed up to return for a refund.

I received this as a free sample with my last order. I used it for 3 nights, then had to discontinue because it left some areas of my skin irritated and red, and the skin is now flaking a bit. Even after not using for two days, my skin still hurts. I am so sad because it felt great going on the first three nights and I thought it would work for me, but I guess it was too strong.

I would have probably never purchased this product on my own but, it was sent as a free sample with my order. The ingredients are amazing and has done wonders for my skin! Will be buying the full size with my next order. Sits very nicely on skin and not heavy or irritating at all! I also love the packaging of this product! I think all the serums should be packaged this way. This is a product that anyone could use in there routine. Excellent job.

I generally don't write reviews but products generally don't perform how this Retinol Serum did. I'm 29 with minimal surface wrinkles and mild acne along with many old acne spots (red marks). When I first started to use this product I did break out a little bit. By week three I can honestly say I don't remember a time in my adult life where my skin has looked this good. My skin is soft, break out free and my red marks are fading. This product works.

I was delighted to receive a free sample of this product and enthusiastically put it to use in my nightly routine. The texture is beautiful and it felt silky when I applied it around my eyes in the evening. However, after about two weeks and several sunny days, I woke up with dry, red, flaky patches in the areas where I applied it. I'll pass it along to someone with hardier skin (mine is pretty sensitive) and try another--I know Paula's got the right product for me, I just need to find it!

I did not like the feel of this on my skin. I used it for 2 months now and don't see any improvement in my skin. In fact my skin looked better with my drugstore Retinol.

I am at my 4th or 5th bottle. I use Paula"s Choice for over 2 years, I am amazed by all the products. I use everything for my type of skin-from skincare, sun care to make up. I am still crazy about all products I use. This serum is the best I ever used; I use it all over my face and eyes-it's that Great! It's smooth and makes my face feel prefect, fine lines disappear. Don't ever stop to make this Great product Paula. Thank you!

Shocked at how much I love this product. I only started using it because my past order came with a free sample. In the past I always had too much irritation and too little results from Retinol products, so I almost didn't even try it. However, it felt great from day one and I have had NO redness or irritation at all! My skin seems smoother and clearer too (I don't really have wrinkles yet, so nothing to report there).

This is an elegant serum, loaded with retinol and antioxidants. The product is effective as-is, but packs an even bigger punch when used after I cleanse with a popular sonic cleansing tool on the market today. I can practically feel the nutrients seep into my skin. Love, love, love the Wrinkle-Repair Retinol Serum.
