It's a Keeper
from Boston, MA
I love this treatment so much more than the AHA one. It soothes skin, helps with razor burn after shaving, and reduces bumps and discolorations. I even use it on my face sometimes. It is not designed to deeply nourish or moisturize skin, it is designed to TREAT and it does it very well. It's a keeper!!!
Best I've found for KP
I use this every night before I go to bed on my arms and legs. My keratosis pilaris is getting worse as I get older, and this is the only product I've found that doesn't leave a sticky residue, smells decent, and actually works. You do have to use it frequently or else your kp will come back, and sometimes with a vengeance! However be careful to not overdo it as well, as for me that started drying my skin out too much.

Great for KP
I find this product works great for the KP on the back of my arms. Using this about 5x/week has made my lifelong KP less noticeable and bothersome than ever. It's also moisturizing enough and has a non offensive scent than dissipates. If I was diligent enough to use it everyday I would probably be completely free of KP.

About Me Beauty Conscious
I used this product as directed. I layered it under another lotion or oil if I needed extra moisturizing. Over the winter my skin gets very dry and itchy. I did not have that problem this past winter. It's very light, so I did add an extra moisturizer or oil on top. During the summer, I used it to help tone my skin and keep even. On humid days, I didn't need an extra moisturizer. The ingredients are great. I used to buy another exfoliate lotion over the winter, but they started adding mineral oil to their product and didn't work as well.

Works, but smells SO BAD
from Toronto, ON
About Me Minimalist
This lotion does wonders for the KP on my arms and thighs with regular use, but it has SUCH a strong smell that LINGERS FOREVER (over an hour at least). I love Paula's for how effective the products are but also for the fact they are reliably dye and scent free! Why does this product smell so much???

I got this product to use on razor/waxing bumps and irritation in my bikini zone. It works wonderfully for that! However I also tried using it for my back acne I get from running. I thought the lotion texture might make it worse, but I'm happy to say that in about a week 90% of my back acne was gone! I did try using this at night as a hand moisturizer, but I think it's not Emoliant enough for that. It kinda left them more dry.

Miracles do happen
I have been struggling with bad red angry bumps on my chest, shoulders, breast area, back and arms. I am going through menopause and my skin has been horrid. I have tried all creams and even prescription cortisone. I on my first week of using this lotion was amazed. My bumps are pretty much gone and my skin looks ten to twenty years younger on my whole chest area. It is truly such a blessing to be able to wear a tshirt that isn't up to my neck. I was so used to covering up that area that I was wearing my husbands tshirts daily. I now am wearing my cute summer tops that show my chest and neck area and am not embarrassed to be seen at the store. I am using many of Paula's products now. I so wish I would have found this whole line years ago. I have only been using this since June of this year. Also, I am using the body retinol cream and I think that and this lotion combined is what has really given me this amazing outcome. I wish I would have taken pics of me before and now to show how impressive this stuff really is. I absolutely can't live without this stuff anymore. If this ever gets discontinued I could seriously see myself paying a chemist or a mad scientist to recreate this. Lol. I am a forever customer now.

As effective as fluid; smells better and easier to use
By Glad I found Paula's Choice
from Glendale Heights, IL
I've been using this for about 6 months because I was looking for a salicylic acid treatment to use for the acne trouble spots on my back and chest (ugh!) without bleaching/staining my clothes and sheets. I was pleasantly surprised to find it smells slightly much better than most of the Paula's products I've tried (not their fault; one of the drawbacks of fragrance-free), but this has a light, floral scent from the ingredients that is in no way overpowering. It's also very lightweight, a huge plus for my oily skin and so far hasn't irritated my skin.I believe it's helped tame the bumpy skin on my back and chest, but unfortunately it hasn't totally eradicated it. =/ But I likely have hormonal acne, and I'm hopeful in the longer term it will help reduce the hyper pigmentation. This is why I have a 4 star rating, because it wasn't the miracle product for me as it was for some.I'll still continue to purchase it though, because I find the lightweight lotion easier to apply than the liquid, and a a bonus it can be used for face and body and for my oily skin the texture of this works better for my face. And as a bonus, it smells nice too!

More money down the drain
from Bonita sprigs, FL
I have tried everything for my KP. Such as coconut oil, am lactin, KP Duty, Glytone kit, microdermabrasion, dry brushing, exfoliating, cod liver oil supplements, vitamin D, vitamin A, creams upon creams upon creams.I bought this product with high hopes after reading all these miraculous reviews from other purchasers, so I thought, I'm convinced! I'll spend the $ & try it...yet again, more money down the drain with no results!I waited until I just about finished an entire bottle before writing a review.Sad to say, it did not work for me. :( It does make my skin "soft" but does not help with the unsightly red bumps that have covered my entire arms & forearms, thighs, and now calves! This is such an annoying condition! I honestly think that there aren't any miracle creams to banish KP, it starts from the inside... which means a proper diet, vitamins, sunshine, exercise.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
