After using a whole bottle of the CLEAR cleanser, I tried a sample of this and liked it so much better! This one does a better job of removing makeup, dirt, and oil, required less product, and produced a nice lather.

I love this cleanser. It has a silky, creamy texture that suds just enough to cut through makeup and oils from the day. I also love that I can use it with my clarisonic a few days a week without it transferring the cleanser to my eyes. This does a great job of cleansing mascara off and since a little goes a long way with this one, I cleanse twice at night to make sure all my makeup is completely off. It is definitely not needed but it gives me peace of mind! It also leaves a nice fresh feeling.

I've probably used every cleanser brands offered at Sephora and this one leaves them all in the dust. Removes make up like a charm and I leave it on and massage it a little more around the eyes to remove WATERPROOF mascaras. If anyone uses waterproof mascaras like me, he/she'd know how stubborn they are, but they're no match for this wonderful and gentle cleanser. Leaves my face CLEAN and soft... no tightness. I have searched high and low for a good cleanser for my easily confused skin: it never knows whether it's dry or oily, plus it's sensitive and definitely breakout prone. With the 2% BHA liquid I have kept breakouts at bay for many years and my skin looks great, but I was beginning to flake and get dry spots. I've used so many cleansers and I always end up either dry or oily. This is a really perfect cleanser and I think it would be excellent for all but the driest or oiliest of skins.

I have combination/ oily/ acne/ sensitive skin. I have been looking for something gentle to help control oil/acne and I thought this would be it. It did make pores smaller but after a couple of days I noticed lots of small red bumps on my forehead (an area that had been pristine before!). Initially I thought it was the BHA gel I had started using but when I stopped that they continued to get worse still. It also made my whole face dry and flaky. Wish it was for me. Definitely buy samples first!

I've been using this since January and it is very mild nice cleanser. I have cystic acne and was switching products to see what was making it worst and I have to say this did help as I just switched to another cleanser with an AHA and I have some flare ups. This cleanser does remove eye makeup and there is not tightness after using. I do need to use makeup pads to get all my makeup off. It seems like it's close to Cetaphil which is 1/2 the price.

I have tried so many cleansers in the past, and they either dried my skin out, or make it feel greasy, and not clean. This cleanser is perfect for my combination/dehydrated skin. It has a light lather, removes my makeup thoroughly, and leaves my skin perfectly balanced! Thanks, Paula & team :)

I never leave reviews but I'm actually amazed, as my title would suggest, that this one lives all up to everything I wanted in a cleanser: removes all makeup AND sunscreen in one wash, leaves my skin soft not tight, paraben and propylene glycol-free, and most importantly -- pH balanced!! You'd be surprised at how hard its been to find something that passes this checklist..

I really like the consistency of this cleanser and the fact that it is non-irritating and you get a large amount for the price, but sadly it was too drying for my skin. I found that after use my combination/dehydrated skin would feel quite dry/tight and I also experienced some flaking. I may reconsider using this again if I ever get my dehydration issues under control, but for now I am going to see if one of the PC cleansers for dry skin might be a better fit for me.

This is the very first paula's choice product I get. I fell in love with this product right after I tried it at my friend's place. It doesn't make your skin tense but feel very fresh. When I have light makeup, It is clean enough to just use this product without using a soap or facial cleanser afterwards. My face texture become smoother and don't have any breakout after using it for 6 months. Highly recommend!!

This is by far the best cleanser I have ever used. I bought this along with my repurchase of the Hydralight cleanser also from Paula's Choice which used to be my favourite. Now this has taken its place as my top cleanser. It feels so silky and smooth and leaves my skin without any tightness or dryness. It removes daily impurities from pollution and such very well that there is usually no residue left on my cotton pad when I use my toner.

I feel like Goldilocks! One cleanser was too drying, another was too moisturizing, but Skin Balancing Cleanser is perfect. I still use the other two occasionally, but with this one I can take care of dry and oily areas at the same time. It really does what it says and balances my skin. It looks much smoother and more refreshed now. No more dry cheeks and oily nose. My skin feels so clean and soft using this cleanser. I'm happy!

This cleanser did a great job. It did what it said: cleansed without drying or irritating my skin. But after a few uses I noticed a dramatic increase in the amount of oil my skin produced. Within 2 hrs I would need to blot. I thought it was hormonal or due to the weather or stress, or that my skin needed to adjust. So I kept trying to make it work. However the oiliness went away as soon as I stopped using it. I am not particularly oily to begin with, so I am very puzzled as to why this happened.

Tried this as a sample on a fluke! I love it. My skin is oily, but at the same time is getting fine lines and some flakiness in areas on face. I'm 54 and a redhead with sensitive skin & rosacea. This cleanser feels really good. My face doesn't feel dry or tight at all after using. Skin feels really smooth and clean. Not oily. Not dry.

This cleanser has completely changed my skin! I have extremely sensitive skin that breaks out from any sort of irritation (it can become irritated and break out from products that are super-moisturizing and also from products that are too drying, which makes it extremely difficult to strike the proper balance with my skin care routine). As long as I use this cleanser in the morning and before bed, I rarely, if ever, break out! This is my holy grail cleanser and I will buy it forever!

LOVE this cleanser. It is beautifully creamy and lathers up very nicely. Completely removes ALL makeup (there is never a trace left when I use toner). My acne-prone skin has cleared significantly by using PC products in conjunction with Retin-A and I think it is due in large part to this cleanser. I'm not sure my skin was being so thoroughly cleaned before with others!

I absolutely adore this cleanser. It is a beautiful, opalescent color, and has a clean, natural scent. A little goes a long way, and for someone who wears a lot of eye makeup like me, it's nice to be able to remove all of my makeup at the end of the day all in one sweep. And it doesn't leave my skin tight or dry at all! I love it!

I love this cleanser for my combo skin. Cleans without drying, removes all makeup, does everything a cleanser should do without irritating my skin. Love the new packaging, too! Please don't discontinue!

LOVE this cleanser. I have stubborn combination skin that gets irritated easily. This cleanser has a great consistency, feels great on the skin and it causes no irritation. After washing my face, it feels so clean and clear. I used Paula's products a long time ago. The cleansers were a gel. I loved her cleaners then, but this formulation is far better. Paula has done a great job with this line and I am so glad to be back. Nothing works like Paula's products. I've looked and I am back for good.

Smooth, silky, lathers up very nicely, and washes my face clean. I have oily skin, and it's certainly not made worse by this cleanser... I use a few different things, so I don't know which is responsible for keeping my oil production in check (probably a combo). I've tried other PC cleansers and so far, this one is my fave--cleans well, doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or tight at all.

This cleanser is such a pleasure to use, the texture is great-it is creamy yet light. The packaging ensures that the amount dispensed can be controlled. A small amount will throughly cleanse my oily, sensitive and congestion prone face and neck. My skin feels very clean and refreshed and looks even better. I have been using this cleanser for years and absolutely love it. BUT recently the texture gets gritty which I do not like (this has happened in several different bottles). I'm really tired of the texture change so will likely have to switch to using something else. Also, I sent in a comment/question about this to customer service several weeks ago and have still not received any response at all, which is upsetting after being a loyal customer for quite a long time. What a great cleanser! This stuff takes off my make-up, cleans my face thoroughly, and a little goes a long way! My skin looks great, and does not fee tight or stripped. This cleanser is very gentle yet strong enough to remove make-up and and dirt. I love this cleanser, and will certainly order it again.
