love love love this moisturizer! i have dry/sensitive skin and eczema. i was on the hunt for a moisturizer after using up my Mustela lotion and this is wayyyy better than i expected. i was going through a rough patch with my skin, where i had tons of texture (ha ha punny) and this helped me get back to my smoother skin. highly recommend this!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE
I absolutely love this cream. It's soft and silky. I use it as the last step in my nighttime routine. Non greasy but nice and thick for a nighttime moisturizer. My skin feels amazing in the morning!! would definitely recommend this to friends and family
This moisturizer simply does not work as it is proclaimed. It is a bit greasy but I wouldn't mind if it hydrates my skin well. But it doesn't. This is simple not good moisturizer for dry skin (and definitely not for very dry skin). Maybe for medium, but that´s not my case. It absorbs slowly and once it is absorbed, my skin is dry again.I wanted to buy Moisture Boost Hydrating Treatment Cream, since some reviews say that it hydrates more, but they don´t deliver it to my country.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

great for my combination break-out prone skin w/rosacea
from Chicago, IL
i have very sensitive, break-out prone combination skin with rosacea. this works great for me. it is an emollient lotion but absorbs and leaves a nice skin surface after about 15 minutes. i had been using the Calm Normal to Oily lotion for fear of breaking out, but this more moisturizing sensitive skin formula works much better for me

Helps heal severely dry skin, but is a bit greasy
About Me Minimalist
I have extremely dry, sensitive skin with moderately severe rosacea. About a month ago I did a complete overhaul of my skin care routine and am now using mostly Paula's Choice products. I saw improvement in my dry skin right away with this moisturizer. I used it twice a day for probably a week, after cleanser, toner, and the 2% BHA liquid exfoliant. My parched skin drank it up and now feels soft and looks dewy! My only complaint is that the moisturizer is pretty heavy. It takes a while to absorb and now tends to make my skin a bit greasy, probably because the chronic dryness is healing. So now I use it only at night, and I predict this will be too heavy to use at all starting in the spring. But it's a lifesaver in the winter!

Not for me
from Portland, OR
I ran out of Moisture Boost so I thought I would tray the Skin Recovery. My hubs and I both use the Moisture Boost so I usually have an extra tube on hand and when I ran out I started on the Recovery, he hasn't run out yet but he's close. After about 4 days I noticed a little dermatitis breakout on my chin and small red bumps on my forehead. I used it a few more days before I realized it was from the Recovery, that was the only thing I changed. I stopped Immediately and I'm using CeraVe until the Boost is available again...soon I hope!

Sigh...please bring back Moisture Boost
I agree that this isn't a replacement for the loss of Moisture Boost. I finished my last stocked tube of Moisture Boost, and now I'm stuck using this one. There's nothing wrong with it....I just find this cream to be very similar to the heavy moisturizers you can find at the local drug store - but it's about twice the price for me (in Canadian dollars). Too bad. I can never understand why a popular item like Moisture Boost got discontinued...
I really did recover my skin's moisture
from McAllen, TX
I had been looking for a moisturizing face cream since I started experiencing very dry skin on my lower cheeks, yet I was breaking out like crazy in that same area. So, I started using this product after a youtube recommendation in September and have been loving it! I also got the acne kit and use it in that same area mornings and nights. Not only did the acne completely disappear, but this moisturizer helped to the overall look and feel of my skin. Even my make up applies more smoothly and my face looks healthy and glowy. This 2 oz tube lasted me about 2 months and that is cause i use it in my face, neck and even hands. Definitely going to purchase another one!

Replacement for Moisture Boost
from Nashville, TN
I was really disappointed when Moisture Boost Hydrating Treatment cream was discontinued as I had searched so long for the right product for me and had finally found it. Skin Recovery was recommended as a replacement and while I can't say anything negative about it I can tell I'm not getting the same results, at least after a just a week of use. I have very dry skin and apply it right out of the shower. Will hang in there with it and see how it goes over the winter.
