About Me Beauty Conscious
Comments about SKIN RECOVERY Moisturizer - 2 oz:
I use the product twice a day, evenings and mornings. I had a really high hopes for the cream as I have a very dry skin. I've been using it now long enough to be able to say it doesn't work for me at all. It absorbs quickly but after an hour or two it feels like I haven't put anything on my skin. My skin becomes tight again and the feel of it just isn't nice. The cream is very expensive comparing to the one I was using before (Garnier Skin Moisture Match Goodbye) and I'm sad to say this, but the two can't compare, price wise and the result wise. I really wish this worked for me :(
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not too emollient enough for me.
My skin is on the dry side of normal, which seemed right for this lotion. Though my face doesn't feel dry after using this, it doesn't make me feel moisturized, perhaps because of the not-quite-right (for me) consistency. This moisturizer feels thick but somehow dry -- it absorbs almost immediately into skin and isn't at all emollient. Oddly, I feel like I can't get enough of it, yet I know I'm using plenty of product. I like my evening moisturizer to be soft and very emollient, so I can lightly massage my skin as I rub it in. This doesn't let me do that at all, which could certainly appeal to some people, but it's not for me. Perhaps this would be a nice cream for oily-to-combination skin, but my dry-ish skin isn't loving it at all.

About Me Minimalist
I am fair complected with dry sensitive skin with redness and rosacea. I also have issues with perioral dermatitus. Most moisurizers either don't cut it and/or make me break out. This product has restored my skin to a soft smooth complection. I don't see a big difference with redness so I'm going to try some of the Calm line next. I'm thankful for PC products and think you have a customer for life.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Works great & a little goes a long way, but it is very small
About Me Beauty Conscious, Minimalist
I use this product twice a day, once in the morning and once again before I go to bed. I find that it lasts me the whole day. I haven't used the SPF version of this, but I am thinking of buying that as well. I use the Resist cleanser, Skin Recovery toner, Redness Relief exfoliant, and finish with this moisturizer. Saw results almost immediately, honestly. I've been holding off from purchasing Paula's Choice products for a year or two now because of the price (as I am a broke college student), but it is definitely a great investment! Early high school days had me smothering my skin in cheap irritating foundation, and I sensitized my skin as a result. I stopped wearing skin makeup and moisturized everyday with a different brand for two years now and my skin has improved steadily, but not at the rate seen with this. I have almost no redness anymore, my skin is not bumpy, and I usually react to everything due to my extra sensitive skin, but not with this product. It hydrates, doesn't leave a greasy finish, wears well under makeup, and my skin is so smooth and silky afterwards. Only con is the small size! I fly often so the 2.2 oz size is good for traveling, but I would like a bigger version as well (though a little amount of this product does go a long way).

Not Moisturizing Enough for Dry Skin
from Seattle, WA
This product claims to be for Dry/Very Dry skin, but I found it not at all moisturizing enough. I have dry skin (not very dry), and this did not provide nearly enough hydration. I had to use a lot of this every night so I went through the 2oz bottle quickly. On the plus side, it did not irritate my acne-prone skin. I had high hopes for this but I am going back to the Moisture Boost cream.
I use after each facial cleaning. I can add my makeup immediately after use. I have been using this product for years. Many think I am 12-15 years younger than my age and I believe it is because I hydrate twice a day after washing my face. Thanks Paula's Choice.

About Me Beauty Expert
Recently my skin began reacting with a rash and hives to everything...including products that worked for me in the past. I identified an adverse reaction to soy and niacinamide. I read the ingredients for every PC moisturizer and found this one. I ordered samples of this, the Moisture Boost cleanser, and the Resist Weekly AHA. One use and my skin is calm and clear. What a relief! Already ordered a full size of each. Glad to find these soy and niacinamide free products that work amazingly!
Service and delivery comments:
I am glad that I am able to use this great moisturizer, and hope that you will keep this particular product soy free. Thank you!

Nice but too emollient
The texture and feel of this moisturizer are great and I thought with winter I'd try a different moisturizer in the PC line. The issue for me is that it doesn't absorb all the way- I've tried lightly patting it or lightly rubbing in. It did not irritate my skin which is a plus. My skin is on the more normal end of dry even in the winter so perhaps that's it.

did not work well for me
from Atlanta, GA
This cream was not irritating to my dry sensitive skin, but was not moisturizing enough. My skin was still dry. I had to use a more heavy product in combination.

My skin has been dry and flakey, so I thought I would try this out. Unfortunately it broke me out! I used it for about a month. I started noticing that I slowly started getting more and more small bumps all over my cheeks. I stopped using this product to make sure it was the culprit- and it was! Now the small bumps have turned into large and painful pimples. I think it's going to take at least a month for my acne to go away. I wish I never bought and tried this! However, my skin has been very sensitive and acne-prone lately. It was still very moisturizing, so I would recommend this to the truly dry and non-acne prone people.
