Not what I expected
Comments about SKIN RECOVERY Cleanser - 16 oz:
I have been using the Moisture Boost cleanser for years, and thought I would give this one a try. I don't feel like it cleans my skin at all, like it just sits on top. It stings my eyes, which is disappointing as I could use the Moisture Boost as a eye makeup remover as well. Unfortunately, this did not work for me, and I will be going back to the Moisture Boost Cleanser.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

No more tight and dry feeling after cleansing!
from Seattle, WA
About Me Budget Buyer
I love this cleanser and use it as part of a double cleanse as the first step to remove makeup. It's very gentle and creamy but doesn't leave a film on the skin, which is rare for creamy cleansers. It doesn't leave the skin tight and dry as most other cleansers seem to do to me. LOVE this whole Skin Recovery line!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Finally! A cleanser that delivers
from London, UK
About Me Brand Buyer
This cleanser imparts hydration, cleanses gently, and leaves skin feeling truly nourished, plumped, and supple. I use this as a morning, and evening cleanser; however, I pre-cleanse with Clinique's cleansing oil in the evening before using this one to ensure I have a thoroughly cleansed face. I really love the rich, thick and creamy texture of this cleanser, it makes the cleansing process incredibly enjoyable. As someone with sahara dry skin I covet a hydrated and dewy complexion, I believe this product has aided in helping me achieve that. This is the first product I've bought from Paulas choice, since I've had such a good experience I have now purchased Paulas Choice Resist rehydrating toner. This cleanser and toner = #DreamTeam

I just recently found Paula's choice and I am so glad I did, I tried this cleanser first and I really love it I have dry skin and I would love to give this 5 stars but I gave it 4 because it dries my skin out after I wash with it. I won't stop using it because it clears my face up

Has made a huge difference!
from Phoenix, Arizona
I never thought something like a cleanser (that doesn't spend all that much time on your skin) would have such a huge difference. The gentle, milky texture glides over my face; and even with a small amount a little goes a long way. It removes makeup remarkably well and leaves my skin feeling so soft!
I would buy this product again and again

The best makeup remover!
from south carolina
It is excellent for rosacea prone skin. It does brighten and calm my skin every time I use it. It removes makeup beautifully and leaves my skin soft and renewed. The only downside is that you have to work with it a little longer to rinse it completely.

My skin is a frustrating combination of dry, sensitive, and acne prone, and most cleansers aggravate at least one of those issues. This cleanser doesn't dry me out, break me out, or redden my skin. I put this down as being good for acne prone skin but only because it doesn't worsen acne, it doesn't actually "treat" acne, but my skin is too dry to have acne treatments in every skincare step.
My favorite cleanser of all time
By Izzy the Terrible
from Tampabay, Florida
This is by far my favorite cleanser. I have acne prone skin, with over-active sebaceous glands if I'm not very gentle with them - and yet my skin is very easily dried out. This cleanser, however, is the only one I've found (and I've tried them all!) that has been absolutely gentle enough on my skin, moisturizing enough, cleansing enough, etc.Unfortunately, I'm cheap. And while this product is no more or less expensive than other Paula's choice cleansers, it does not go a long way like many others do. I choose to continue to buy Moisture Boost, even though it doesn't nearly boost my moisture levels like this one does.

I've been purchasing this product for a number of years. I was not pleased that it is now very thick and harder to apply . I have to add a lot of water to it to cleanse my face. I do not intend to buy this one again.I prefer the old formula.
