    Thanks, Paula!
    • I received my replacement brush (see below). Paula's return/replacement policy is both generous and impeccable. I love this brush and disagree with an earlier review about its lack of precision. When I wash it in a mild cleanser after use and gently squeeze water out, the tip dries in a flat point and mostly stays that way when I use it the next day. It's great for spider veins around the base of the nose. Thanks for such a fantastic brush, Paula!

    Great Brush, But...
    • I love Paula's products and love this brush, which I've had for years. It's very accurate and durable. My "but" is that the handle soon began peeling paint and continues to do so. I hope this problem has been solved, because I'm thinking I'll have to bite the bullet and replace it.

Thanks for your review! Some amonut of wear-and-tear can be expected with any makeup brush, but what you've experienced isn't typical. Please contact us so that we may send you a replacement.

    Not for precision application
    • This brush is fairly wide, so it'll work for larger areas, but it does not work well to conceal spots, which is what I bought it for. The bristles spread too much, making precise application impossible. I'll have to keep looking for a brush with stiffer bristles. Customer Care Response: Thank you for your comments, we will be sure to share your experience with the product to Paula and her Product Development Manager and pass along your suggestions. We will credit you for this product in the meantime and please contact customer care with any questions.

    Too good!
    • I had been wanting a new concealer brush and bought this one on a whim to put me over for free shipping. I am soooop glad I got it. I am a huge makeup junkie and this is the best concealer brush I've seen or used. It is comfortable in my hand. The bristles are longer, but soft around delicate skin around the eyes, yet firm enough for super precision. I am really happy with this brush. I'm so glad I bought it!

    not perfect
    • I think it's much too large for concealer. It is quite wide, nearly a 1/4 inch. Not usable for precision application, however, it is nice for cream shadows, so it is not a waste now that I have it. Luckily.

    Awesome Brush
    • I received this brush yesterday, and couldn't wait to check it out this morning. Incredibly soft and because of the shape of the bristles it can get in all those hard to reach areas around the eye. My search for a concealer brush that I like is over.

    It's superb!
    • I have a number of concealer brushes and have discovered that none of the others dare to compare. This one has a long handle and brisles that are so soft, reach anywhere and blend beautifully.

What makes this product unique?
Concealer Brush is a soft, expertly tapered nylon brush that is perfectly sized for precision application of concealer under the eyes. The shape of the brush allows you to use the flat side for larger areas (such as covering undereye circles) or use the tip for pinpoint application to blemishes or small areas of discoloration. Designed to work with all types of concealer, Concealer Brush can also be used to apply cream or cream-to-powder eyeshadows or liquid highlighters.

Measures 6 inches from handle to brush head.

Who is this product for?
The Concealer Brush is recommended for anyone who uses concealer.

DIRECTIONS: For cream concealers in a pot or jar or stick concealers, gently stroke the flat side of the Concealer Brush over the concealer to pick up an even layer of product. Apply to the undereye area, beginning at the inner corner of the eye and blending out under the entire lower lash line. Use the brush tip to reach the inside corner of the eye near the tear duct. It is best to use a "dab and blend" method to ensure smooth, even coverage. Simply dab the concealer over dark areas and then use the side of the brush without concealer to blend and soften any hard edges. If desired, set concealer with a light dusting of loose or pressed powder.

For wand-style or liquid concealers, first dab the product onto the back of your free hand. Use the full, flat side of the Concealer Brush to pick up an even layer of product, and apply as directed above. Because these types of concealers usually have a thin consistency, you may need to layer product to achieve desired level of coverage.

For concealing minor discolorations and blemishes, use the tip of the Concealer Brush and gently dab concealer directly on the discolored area. Flip the brush to the "clean" side and use this to carefully feather out the edges of concealer, being sure not to remove concealer from the epicenter of the discoloration or blemish. Let dry, and set with loose or pressed powder.

How many brushes do I need?

Your choice of brushes is determined by how you apply your makeup. An elaborate, nuanced makeup application would typically involve a variety of brushes. Conversely, a minimal and/or basic makeup application requires fewer brushes. The general rule to follow is that the size of the brush should match (or correspond with) the size of the area you are working on. It is best to avoid using the same brush for applying both lighter and darker colors.

When should I replace my brushes?

Replace them if they become misshapen, frayed, or start shedding excessively, or if the brush handle becomes loose or splintered.

What are Paula's Choice brushes made of?

The handles are wood and our brushes feature natural hair, except for the Concealer Brush and Powder Brush, which are made of synthetic hair.
