What makes this product unique?
Paula's Choice Makeup Application Sponges allow you to easily blend and expertly apply your makeup. Unlike other makeup sponges, you don't have to worry about Paula's Choice Makeup Application Sponges being too porous and soaking up all your makeup (especially liquid foundations). The sponges have been designed to be durable enough to wash and re-use time after time. Use them wet or dry to apply liquid, cream-to-powder or pressed powder foundations or to soften or blend away obvious makeup lines including the edges of blush and eyeshadows. One package includes 10 reusable, circular sponges.
Paula's Choice Makeup Application Sponges do not contain rubber or animal-derived components. They are latex-free.
Who is this product for?
Paula's Choice Makeup Application Sponges are ideal for all makeup users.
DIRECTIONS: Utilizing the flat, smooth surface of the sponge, pour some foundation onto the sponge, then transfer the foundation in dots and dabs all over the face and the eyelids. Blend the foundation downward and out over the face. Use the edge of the sponge without foundation (or turn the sponge over to the clean side) to dab or buff away any excess product.
Your sponge is an exceptional blending tool that can be utilized throughout the makeup application process to apply concealer, soften hard edges of blush, etc.
Wash your sponge each week in warm water using a mild liquid soap or your facial cleanser.
What are the Makeup Application Sponges made of?
Our sponges are made of synthetic latex. Synthetic latex lacks the plant constituents found in natural latex that are believed to cause allergic reactions and contact dermatitis.
How do I wash the Makeup Application Sponges?
Dampen the sponge with tap water and apply a dime-sized amount of facial cleanser, liquid soap, or regular shampoo. Massage cleanser into the sponge and then squeeze the sponge as you hold it under running water. Keep squeezing the sponge until the water runs clear. Squeeze out excess water, then dry using a clean towel. You may want to leave the sponge out overnight before putting it back in your makeup bag or case.
